Had driven by a few days earlier and liked what I saw on the website; so, we gave it a try. Ended up being a last minute double date with friends. And we all loved it. Went at 6pm on a Friday. Didn't have to wait at all. It was relatively quiet (crowd definitely starts picking up around 7). We ate in the main area, but the patio seating looks very enjoyable too. Pork and Okra appetizers were very good - it's a ton of fried okra with nice dipping sauce - plenty for all four of us. Everyone like their meals, from fish to fried chicken to pork chop. This was not our first time at Dyron's. Everyone ordered something different so that we could have a bite off the other plates. We had asked for Patrick to be our waiter as usual but he was out of town and Carrie took his place. She was excellent. It is a great place and very special to our family. We have celebrated birthdays,anniversaries and football victories on different occasions.

The service was impeccable. The menu was a good mix of Southern and low country classics. My husband had the gumbo and triggerfish and I had the asparagus appetizer and the pimento cheese burger. Every bite we put in our mouths was exquisite. Everything was cooked perfectly and was of the freshest quality. We had the creme brulee for dessert and it was the perfect ending to a more than memorable meal. My husband chose the hangar steak hash, while I chose the veggie omelet. Both dishes were delightful. My omelet was served with McEwen grits, which were delicious! We also enjoyed the live music.
