The food was very good. Will go back as the burger seems to be the big draw here. I had the mac and cheese and the brussel sprouts as my entree and the scallops as an app. All were outstandingly prepared. The cheese for deesert was very dissapointing. Served cold, server was not aware of what it was so I took a guess on it and it was not what was described. The server also did not return with our drinks in a timely manner. The drinks were inconsistent, more dill on the second round than the first. They were good but not the same. I will definitely go back!

Prior to going, I had known DuMont was a popular brunch spot but didn't know what to expect. We were led into the heated covered garden in the back and simultaneously let out an "Ooooooh!". I guess Manhattanites are not used to such pretty, cozy joints! We kept saying we wanted to live there - not in Brooklyn but at DuMont! The food and drinks were great. The eggs were light and fluffy, the potatoes were crispy and the Bloody Marys were great!

The atmoshpere was great on the back garden patio, it is heated so I didn't get cold even though it was cold outside, also the Mac& Cheese was to die for, overall excellent expierence

We chose Dumont because the menu looked spectacular, and I am so gladd that's where we went for our Valentines Day. It was mysterious, romantic, and very tasty. Portion sizes could be a bit larger, only because it was so good I wanted to savor more!
