The Duling Kurtz House is a wonderful 1800's Home that is now an Inn with 15 rooms and a most wonderful restaurant. Charm, history and very good food mark what this restaurant is all about. The service is top of the scale, the whole experience is worth much more than the cost. I only wish I could return once a week but can not justify the 600 mile trip each way.

The entire meal was just wonderful and memorable. We had Bronzino and Chilean Sea Bass which were excellent. All courses were extremely well-prepared, service was quite friendly and attentive. Love the porch/garden dining room. We were celebrating a birthday and all were so warm and kind. Made us feel so special. Overall, most pleasurable experience. Hope to return soon. Duling and Kurtz is outstanding.

Had a quiet lunch on a Saturday. Very nice. Excellent service. Varied menu. German influence - Wiener Schnitzel, spaetzle, red cabbage, but also steaks, crab cakes, and other excellent items. Tuna was a bit overcooked. Everything else was great.

Everything about this restaurant was perfect. We were greeted by an enthusiastic host who told us the history of the building. Our server, Scott, was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was amazing, alligator for an appetizer, Cauliflower & Fig Salad, Lobster Crepes and Blood Orange Mascarpone Mousse all were exceptional.

It was a quiet Wednesday night, with only three or four tables of people. Food, including the Venison (a special that night), and the Mushroom soup, were both excellent. I'd only suggest that they broaden the selection of wines available - with the prevalence of BYOB's in Pennsylvania, one gets used to being able to have any imaginable wine with dinner.

Made my reservation for a Friday night via Open Table. Requested a quiet table since they have musicians on Fridays (very nice and performers played music that was appropriate for the venue). We were seated in a back room where you really could not hear the musicians and had the room to ourselves. Service was outstanding and our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and helpful with his recommendations. Food was outstanding, portions were generous, and the menu of choices and specials made selecting meal choices difficult - a good problem. Very enjoyable meal.

Two people in our party of four ordered camel and it was tough and chewy. They should take this item off of the menu immediately! The mushroom soup was not hot but delicious. The ceviche was one of the best I've ever tasted. The crab cakes were good, but the menu description did not indicate that they would be breaded. Our waiter was courteous and efficient and the setting was lovely. We thought that it would be quieter and romantic sitting on the porch but there were people with cell phones taking pictures and being loud which made it difficult to have a conversation.

We have had mixed experiences at Duling Kurtz and this dinner was one of the better ones. There were few diners on this Tuesday evening. We were there to celebrate our anniversary. My husband ordered his favorite meal here, wiener schnitzel, and I had the fish special, perch. Both meals were delicious. We also loved the mushroom soup. Service was impeccable as always and although it was raining, we were happy to be seated at a window looking out onto the lovely garden landscape. The only reason I didn't rate this experience with five stars is that my husband's whiskey sour wasn't very tasty. The regular bar tender did not prepare it though so I wouldn't lay the blame there. I, however, was treated to jalalpeno stuffed olives in my drink.

Lunch menu selection had plenty of good options (most priced above $25). The oven roasted shrimp and scallops over herb risotto was very good. So was the prime rib and crab cake meals. Service was attentive with socially oriented waiting staff. While our view was very nice on the upper floor in a sun room, the décor appeared to need some paint and clean windows. This constructive point did not, however, diminish a very nice Easter lunch with family.

My husband and I had a lovely date night at Duling Kurtz House! We both enjoyed our food, the service was superb, and the live piano music and singing was wonderful. I had the onion soup and lobster crepes. My husband had the baked brie and wiener schnitzel. Everything was beautifully presented, and very good. The popovers with lemon curd that are brought out at the beginning are simply amazing. Our waiter was young, knowledgeable of the menu, and very attentive. The atmosphere was beautiful. I can't say enough good things. We can't wait to go back!

Four of us dined at the Duling Kurtz all taking the Prix Fixe menu available from Sunday-Thursday. The arugula beet salad as a starter, had by three of us, was exceptional with fresh greens and ample beets. Two of us had the fish main course and two the Wiener schnitzel. All were well presented and excellent. Deserts also did not disappoint. This was a really great dining experience in a well appointed dining room.

I had a really enjoyable meal as did my guest. It started with appetizers. We had their escargot in a puffed pastry and a blackened scallop dish. Both were outstanding, though the escargot was extremely hot. The Ceasar salad prepared table side was very nice. I had a special entree that was fantastic. It was elk with prepared with an mango apple chutney and surrounded by assorted sauteed vegetables. It was delightful and not the least bit gamey. My guest had the rack of lamp and he raved about it. The wine selection was impressive and the lemoncello dessert was the perfect finish. VERY expense but I'm not complaining - it was great food, great service, great atmosphere.

We went to Duling-Kurtz to celebrate a belated Valentine's Day dinner. This was our second time dining there and I had asked to be in the Hunt Room. Not only did we get that room, but we got the same table we sat at our first time. The server we had was in a different room so we had Amy. She was phenomenal. Very energetic and a great addition to our date. The food was amazing. My boyfriend, who doesn't experiment with new food often, tried the short ribs and was blown away by them. I stuck with my favorite dish, the lobster crepes. Before we left, I made sure that the maitre de knew how impressed we were with Amy and we also got to see Ken who served us last time. He remembered us. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants!!!
