dinner before the showDue Amici is a wonderful place to dine before attending a show or concert at the Ohio Theater. You can dine outside and enjoy the downtown view or inside. Food is excellent and so is the service.
would recommend this restaurant to all.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Cost of Love is $ometimes HighI ABSOLUTELY LOVE this restaurant. It is a little expensive. I do wish that the happy hour special was NOT at the bar only.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMMemorable EventReserved seating for 9. Arrived an hour early and were seated immediately. Beautiful quaint restaurant. Table location perfect. Candles a bright warm touch. Pre ordered appetizers served while deciding on cocktails enjoyed by everyone. Waiter simply delighful, informative and gave us excellent service - very attentive without hovering and was very respectful. Explained menu and specials. Several vegetarian options ( including appetizers) available for one guest. Food served in timely manner and delicious. Praises to the Chef and cook staff. Pre ordered whole pound cake from dessert menu was a surprise for the guest of honor, a HS graduate. Lasting memories made at this restarurant for entire party. Could not have asked for anything better!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMOur server was outstanding! Our server was outstanding! She was naturally friendly and very attentive even though they were swamped.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat evening with friendsWe were celebrating a friends 4oth birthday and Due Amici was the perfect spot.....food was fantastic...sever was attentive...and the atmosphere started quiet but picked up nicely. Thanks very much.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waitress was outstanding! Our waitress was outstanding! She worked with the kitchen to make a special plate for us at no extra charge and was amazingly friendly and helpful all night!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was very good and theFood was very good and the restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. However, we had a party of 12 and we feel as though the server slacked a bit since he was already being guaranteed a nice tip. So great place, with a smaller party.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMComing in season now!Due Amici is great any time of year, but spring means the outdoor seating is available.
Sunday brunch, with eggs in a range of preparations and Bloody Mary's from the cart at tableside, is wonderful. Call it a pleasant end of the previous week or a fine precursor for the coming week - it's all good!5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food bad serviceServer over charged us and made it seem that her corrected the bill was a favor to us. Certainly did not appreciate her attitude or lack of willingness to help. Food is delicious.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother fantastic Brunch!Must say as good as my first time here for Brunch, the second was even better! Brought an out of town visitor to Due Amici for Sunday Brunch. Excellent service, seated promptly, my Eggs benedict was fantastic, lively crowd, relaxed energy. Will be back, can't wait to try this place for dinner.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day TreatBelieve it or not I even brought 2 kids.. 9 yrs old and 3 yrs old.
Service Awesome as usual. Was so excited to try the grits and they were great.
The bloody mary cart and the popping of Champagne Bottles made for a great ambience.
Very accomodating for a couple substitutions as well.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWow!I had heard great things about Due Amici from several friends and they were right! I took my Mother there for Mother's Day Brunch and we were blown away! The food was amazing! We had the Eggs Due and Eggs Benedict and split them and they were both amazing. The mimosas were also fabolous! After we finshed our brunch we splurged and treated ourselves to the Greek Yogurt Cheesecake and I have to say that it was the best that I have ever had! It had a gingersnap crust that was superb! When we were leaving the hostess gave us each a flower for Mother's Day, which was very nice! I would recommend this restuarant to anyone!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect Mother's Day celebrationPerfect for mother's day brunch with my 89 year old Aunt. Conveniently located across the street from our hotel. Had to wait about 10 minutes which was OK since the front desk woman always kept us abreast of progress. Our table location was perfect for family conversation. The food was very good (I'm still craving the diced potatoes and grilled canadian bacon). Our waitress was very attentive to us, especially my Aunt as she noticed her scarf and that they had something in common, both being cancer survivors. For 6 adults including alcoholic beverages, our bill came to $132 including gratuity, not bad at all. Warning: washrooms are located 1 flight down and down long hallway. Not good for 89 year old Aunt.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMy Favorite RestaurantThis is simply my favorite restaurant in Columbus, and it's where I eat when I'm in the city. I had the scallops with risotto and it was truly delicious. I asked my charming server - Chloe - when will cioppino be back on the many. She checked with the chef and came back with the message that the chef would make it especially for me if I gave him a day 's advance notice. Fantastic!!! I have been recommending this restaurant for years ... and will continue to do so. Ian Haberman.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMDue CredsWe were there on a Sunday and the noise level was about average, although with the accoustics, I can see how it would get quite loud if full. The waiter was knowledgable about what was being served and gave suggestions for both wine and dinner. The seasonal salad was very tasty and everything we ordered lived up to the gourmet standard. I found the prices to be in line with other local restaurants of the same stature. The ambience was just what we were looking for, understated elegance. This will definitely be my new go-to restaurant for special occasions.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the SUnday BrunchAmazing Sunday brunch! $15 and it includes a bloody mary, mimosa or Bellini. We also had coctails at the bar - great staff, very friendly.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved it! Would have lovedLoved it! Would have loved to see fish on the menu, or some other lower calorie fare. Regardless, a lovely place with fantastic food and service. Will be back many times.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Downtown BrunchEnjoyed a great Sunday Brunch outing and was pleased with the overall experience. Good vibe, good service. Great table-side Mimosas and Blood Mary's. Everyone enjoyed their food, although the French Toast I personally had was average at best and not served with any maple syrup... Will certainly be back to give it another try!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was our anniversary andIt was our anniversary and we wanted GOOD Italian. Well we got it. Though our waiter was over the top at times, he was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was vey nice exceptEverything was vey nice except my carbenera was a bit dry.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMHad large group(16)with reservationHad large group(16)with reservation, had to wait 30 minutes past reservation for table. This was the only down side of experience. The place was crowded, so group of 16 at the bar waiting for table was a bit of challenge, but the food and service was well worth it.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I took anotherMy husband and I took another couple who had never been to Due Amici. They had a wonderful experience. They enjoyed the cocktails, the ambience, and the food. It was a wonderful experience!4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMonday Jazz and Wine experienceThe Monday night jazz ensemble playing was a great accompaniment to our dining experience - not too loud for us to talk together. Corinne, our server, was always available when we needed her and very pleasant and helpful with her knowledge of the selections available. She helped us choose a great bottle of half-price wine, as well.

Our server was very good and knowledgeable.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMA co-worker and I took ourA co-worker and I took our staff here for lunch recently. Due Amici has a varied lunch menu, from sandwiches to pizza to entrees, for every budget. All seemed to enjoy their entrees, many of which were Chicken Parmesan. The wait staff is generally very good, though some try too hard to be refined or act aloof. All that said, Due is a very good restaurant and, at least for me, a nice special occasion lunch.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat pre-theater dinner choiceWe tend to eat here when we are headed to theater in Columbus, since it is only a few blocks from the theater. the food is consistently good while being creative at the same time. We always look forward to an evening at Due Amici and you should also.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMEvening @ Due Amici - Wonderful!Chose a specialty pizza which was delicious...Cooked perfectly. Enjoyed the Ensalata Mista salad which was very good and a decent size. My first visit to Due Amici was very pleasant, and I would recommend and return for another visit!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went here for Valentine'sWe went here for Valentine's Day and it was so cute! First of all, they were playing all classic love songs, which was cute but not in a tacky Hollywood style. My boyfriend had the chicken parmesan and I had carbonara. Both were delicious and very filling. The atmosphere was fun and our server was very sweet and professional. She definitely allowed the evening to be romantic while still being attentive enough that we never lacked anything we desired. Great time!2/14/2013 12:00:00 AM
