Drawing upon regional ingredients is a superior way to eat and one can taste the freshness in Chef de Cuisine Dustin Valette's Dry Creek Kitchen specialties. You can also experience the regional abundance in the six-course, wine-trail tasting menu, featuring "neighborhood" food and wine pairings.
Dry Creek Kitchen's wine cellar reflects the area's celebrated appellations, featuring more than 600 Sonoma wines with vintages ranging from 1985 to 2007 and a particular emphasis on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Meritage Blends.
Charlie Palmer's long standing commitment to wine manifests itself in his one-of-kind-collection drawing from the private libraries and cellars of the area's winemakers.

We live in Healdsburg and have dinner there from time to time and, sometimes, have been disappointed in the food which can be inconsistent. No disappointments at our recent lunch. We both remarked that the menu is very good--several options were quite appealing. My husband loved the sweet corn soup saying that it was one of the best soups he has ever had. I was also very happy with the waygu beef sliders. Many restaurants serve beef sliders and I thought these compared very favorably with the best. The service and ambience are always exceptional. This time the food was a match."

  • "Make no mistake, DCK is not a cheap date and for most, not an every-day venue. That said, it is worth every cent - dining excellence on all levels with reasonable options offered with the 4 course tasting menu. First and foremost, the flavors, aromas, presentations are all world class with no false notes and nothing overwrought. The service is impeccable but not stiff, befitting a wine country ambiance. The wine list is comprised exclusively of Sonoma county bottles and the price range runs nicely from the high $30s upwards. The Sommelier was extremely helpful narrowing down our choices to best suit our meal - don't be afraid to ask for her assistance. Dessert offerings were exquisite on the plate and palate, not too much. Enjoy!"

There are so many other great options in the area to not have to spend your money on bad food and bad service at this establishment. Sometimes luxury places simply don't know how to do it. This is one of those places that is best to avoid. Take this coming from a foody!!! Good luck."

During our stay in the area we ate at Willie's, Baci and here... Dry Creek was my favourite. My husband had a bone in rib eye, I had lamb, bother-in-law the duck and sister the chicken. Everyone loved what they ordered. Of note, they have a fantastic wine life. We brought a nice bottle of wine of our own with us (note: no corkage fee) and for desert had a selection of sorbets."

  • "My wife and I were told that the food is great, but be warned the service is slow. NOT true. Yes, the food was wonderful, but the service was just as Great! Our server was prompt and food came out in a reasonable pace. We never felt as if the food was coming out slow or too fast. We enjoyed the manager coming out to our table and talking with us. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary; we were pleased to see the special attention to our dessert plate recognizes our special occasion. 5 star all day and will go back."

Love that there is no corkage on Sonoma County wines and always bring my own (we're local). Always order the Scallop En Croute as an app and never disappointed. I was too full for a desert but wanted something more for the finale, asked the waiter if they had vanilla ice cream - had something close enough - I asked if they would make me an affogato and presto! Perfect ending to a lovely dinner and evening. (GM Drew is a serene and thoughtful addition and has been at the restaurant 9+ years (that always says something doesn't it?))."

  • "Oh, it was memorable, but not how you would think. Our visit to Dry Creek Kitchen was absurd. 50% of the menu was either substituted or out. As we say in the restaurant business, 86'd. Cannot believe that no one on staff could not find halibut, bass or lamb in all of Healdsburg to stock an otherwise under ordered chef's kitchen. We were told- "We would rather run out than have extra." Totally absurd, as it says we care more about numbers than our guests. We finished our champagne, paid our bill, and left. We won't be back."

  • "Food fabulous! Servers seemed gracious, but we were seated over an hour when our salads were brought (only after we inquired about when to expect our food). We told them early-on that we were going to a theater performance. When we told the manager that we hadn't been served and had been there for an hour, he appeared to be shocked. Our salads came about 20 minutes before we had to leave. The wait person said the manager would comp us a special dessert. However, we refused and also told her we didn't have time. The manager brought the check and said he removed charges for everything except the main courses. These were nice gestures and appreciated; however, the overall experience left us wanting. We would probably not return."
