A word from Dry Creek Kitchen
If this country has a culinary cradle, it's in Northern Sonoma, where the fruits of local labor—from outstanding produce to handcrafted cheese—have never been on a plane. Drawing upon regional ingredients is a superior way to eat and one can taste the freshness in Chef de Cuisine Dustin Valette's Dry Creek Kitchen specialties. You can also experience the regional abundance in the six-course, wine-trail tasting menu, featuring "neighborhood" food and wine pairings.
Dry Creek Kitchen's wine cellar reflects the area's celebrated appellations, featuring more than 600 Sonoma wines with vintages ranging from 1985 to 2007 and a particular emphasis on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Meritage Blends.
Charlie Palmer's long standing commitment to wine manifests itself in his one-of-kind-collection drawing from the private libraries and cellars of the area's winemakers.

My husband and I booked lunch at The Dry Creek Kitchen on the recommendation of our favorite winery. This was our first trip to Sonoma. The restaurant is very modern and beautiful. We picked our seat in the open air tables. We selected a Chardonnay and were given two very generous pours of wine. My husband had an "outstanding" chicken paillard and I had mini wagyu beef burgers. My burgers melted in my mouth and were the perfect base before visiting some wineries! Our waitress suggested we try the peanut butter chocolate dessert and we were not disappointed. The staff was very polite. My only criticism would be that our meal was not inexpensive. It was a special splurge that we thoroughly enjoyed.

  • Great service, terrible food

If you want to get wasted on their scallops app, it's a pretty good deal, straight uncooked white wolf vodka poured right into your $20 app, awesome! The chicken was wedding food and the duck was undercooked/cold with nasty syrup and oil poured on top. Horrible combination, zero acidity and a challenge to eat. The positive was our service. I feel bad for the great servers who have to pretend that this joke of a restaraunt produces good food. Our server was on it, very attentive and did the best she good with a below par product. Never coming back, spend your money somewhere better.

Everything was terrific from the first hello through the "enjoy the rest of your evening" - no complaints. While expensive, the value for money was much greater than some of the other "name" restaurants in town. Nice to know that whatever time of year it is the experience will be the same.

Visited Dry Creek Kitchen for my birthday. We all enjoyed our meals very much. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. They even brought a little sparkler (beverage) to begin the meal, and then a real sparkler with our desserts. It was lovely. We shall return.

Friends came to town from back East and of course, we took them to our favorite spot, Dry Creek Kitchen! Dinner was excellent. We like to start with the salumi and then go on to an appetizer and main course. Everything was excellent and so fresh. Sauces were delicious! They wow'd all of us with a glass of sparkly, small amuse b.. and a lovely plate of goodies for dessert, even though we were too full for dessert. We left with a lovely package of chocolates. The sommelier, Courtney was very helpful, Drew, the General Manager, greeted us and checked in mid-dinner to be sure we were satisfied and our waiter (don't remember his name) was delightful. Thank you again for a great experience!!

This was our second visit to Dry Creek; this time with our family and we were just as impressed as our last visit. We had a wonderful dinner at Dry Creek for my 40th birthday. Ordered the 3-course and 5-course set dinners and shared everything as it was so delicious. The soup was especially memorable and the staff were 100% attentive and personable. They even made a personalized dessert with my name inscribed - how thoughtful! We also loved that we could bring a wine we bought that day at a local winery and they don't charge a corkage fee to open it.

My husband and I had Lunch at DCK for the first time in several years. We live in Healdsburg and have dinner there from time to time and, sometimes, have been disappointed in the food which can be inconsistent. No disappointments at our recent lunch. We both remarked that the menu is very good--several options were quite appealing. My husband loved the sweet corn soup saying that it was one of the best soups he has ever had. I was also very happy with the waygu beef sliders. Many restaurants serve beef sliders and I thought these compared very favorably with the best. The service and ambience are always exceptional. This time the food was a match.

Make no mistake, DCK is not a cheap date and for most, not an every-day venue. That said, it is worth every cent - dining excellence on all levels with reasonable options offered with the 4 course tasting menu. First and foremost, the flavors, aromas, presentations are all world class with no false notes and nothing overwrought. The service is impeccable but not stiff, befitting a wine country ambiance. The wine list is comprised exclusively of Sonoma county bottles and the price range runs nicely from the high $30s upwards. The Sommelier was extremely helpful narrowing down our choices to best suit our meal - don't be afraid to ask for her assistance. Dessert offerings were exquisite on the plate and palate, not too much. Enjoy!

We went out 10 nights and unfortunately for business reasons ended up way here 3 times. All three times the food was late, not fresh and the service was horrendous. There are so many other great options in the area to not have to spend your money on bad food and bad service at this establishment. Sometimes luxury places simply don't know how to do it. This is one of those places that is best to avoid. Take this coming from a foody!!! Good luck.

Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Healdsburg. Great food, outstanding service in a beautiful contemporary setting. During our stay in the area we ate at Willie's, Baci and here... Dry Creek was my favourite. My husband had a bone in rib eye, I had lamb, bother-in-law the duck and sister the chicken. Everyone loved what they ordered. Of note, they have a fantastic wine life. We brought a nice bottle of wine of our own with us (note: no corkage fee) and for desert had a selection of sorbets.

I had a friend visiting from Italy and wanted to share the wonderful gatsronomic-enologic-experience of "Dry Creek Kitchen"! She truly loved and enjoyed every minute of our evening. From the moment we walked in, until we finished our meal, it was another unbelievable experience. Our server Ben, was personable, knowledgable, engaging and eager to do whatever he could to make our evening memorable...and he did! The sommelier Courtney, also tended to our wine needs by answering questions and pointing us in the right direction when pairing wines with our food selections...another BIG success! thank you "Dry Creek Kitchen" for once again showing why you are my 'destination restaurant' when in CA!
