A word from Dry Creek Kitchen
If this country has a culinary cradle, it's in Northern Sonoma, where the fruits of local labor—from outstanding produce to handcrafted cheese—have never been on a plane. Drawing upon regional ingredients is a superior way to eat and one can taste the freshness in Chef de Cuisine Dustin Valette's Dry Creek Kitchen specialties. You can also experience the regional abundance in the six-course, wine-trail tasting menu, featuring "neighborhood" food and wine pairings.
Dry Creek Kitchen's wine cellar reflects the area's celebrated appellations, featuring more than 600 Sonoma wines with vintages ranging from 1985 to 2007 and a particular emphasis on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Meritage Blends.
Charlie Palmer's long standing commitment to wine manifests itself in his one-of-kind-collection drawing from the private libraries and cellars of the area's winemakers.

  • "Dry Creek Kitchen came highly recommended to us and it did not disappoint. The scallop appetizer that they are known for more than lived up to my expectations--it was fabulous. Everything we ordered was extremely good, the service was attentive and the atmosphere is great. We will definitely return next time we're in Healdsburg."

  • "We had the 4 course prix dinner The food was fabulous and our server was wonderful- he was very knowledgeable about the wines even knowing what vineyards the grapes were grown in. He was also very knowledgeable about the food and its preparation. The food was absolutely fantastic."

  • "This place never disappoints. It's on the pricey side, but well worth it. More extensive menu at dinner than lunch but either are great."
    Dined on 8/17/2014
  • "All was very special, no flaws at all. Ambience was appropriately bustling, moderate noise level, but allowing conversation without any trouble. Cocktails, food and wine could not have been better. Our server Richard was outstanding. Overall, one amazingly pleasant experience."

  • "Dry Creek Kitchen delivered an exceptional dinning experience, the kind you would exactly expect from a Charlie Palmer restaurant. The service was exceptional, the food was amazing and the ambiance was outstanding! If you are looking for a top rate restaurant in northern Wine Country, then this is your place!"

  • "My husband and I had Lunch at DCK for the first time in several years. We live in Healdsburg and have dinner there from time to time and, sometimes, have been disappointed in the food which can be inconsistent. No disappointments at our recent lunch. We both remarked that the menu is very good--several options were quite appealing. My husband loved the sweet corn soup saying that it was one of the best soups he has ever had. I was also very happy with the waygu beef sliders. Many restaurants serve beef sliders and I thought these compared very favorably with the best. The service and ambience are always exceptional. This time the food was a match."

  • "Make no mistake, DCK is not a cheap date and for most, not an every-day venue. That said, it is worth every cent - dining excellence on all levels with reasonable options offered with the 4 course tasting menu. First and foremost, the flavors, aromas, presentations are all world class with no false notes and nothing overwrought. The service is impeccable but not stiff, befitting a wine country ambiance. The wine list is comprised exclusively of Sonoma county bottles and the price range runs nicely from the high $30s upwards. The Sommelier was extremely helpful narrowing down our choices to best suit our meal - don't be afraid to ask for her assistance. Dessert offerings were exquisite on the plate and palate, not too much. Enjoy!"

  • "Dry Creek Kitchen is a gem in Healdsburg. Charlie Palmer's West Coast restaurant is innovative with an upscale ambience and warmly modern décor. The food was delicious and the wine list outstanding. The service was impeccable. Highly recommended for a special night out."

  • "We went out 10 nights and unfortunately for business reasons ended up way here 3 times. All three times the food was late, not fresh and the service was horrendous. There are so many other great options in the area to not have to spend your money on bad food and bad service at this establishment. Sometimes luxury places simply don't know how to do it. This is one of those places that is best to avoid. Take this coming from a foody!!! Good luck."

  • "This place is amazing , with every dish , not only delicious but the presentation is great...most of all , the service was outstanding..everyone so attentive and helpful....one of us had lamb, very generous , my husband had halibut, very tiny but good... beautiful decor....."

  • "We had an absolutely fabulous dinner here the other night. We were fortunate to sit outside on the patio but the inside dining looked beautiful as well. Every course was spectacular with attention to detail noted. The service was excellent with recommendations that complimented our taste. We would absolutely include dry creek kitchen restaurant next visit to Healdsburg."

  • "Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Healdsburg. Great food, outstanding service in a beautiful contemporary setting. During our stay in the area we ate at Willie's, Baci and here... Dry Creek was my favourite. My husband had a bone in rib eye, I had lamb, bother-in-law the duck and sister the chicken. Everyone loved what they ordered. Of note, they have a fantastic wine life. We brought a nice bottle of wine of our own with us (note: no corkage fee) and for desert had a selection of sorbets."
    Dined on 7/23/2014
  • "Food was delicious, the ambience here always good and the wines very good as usual. Service this visit was not good, with lack of follow-up and timely serving; several not seeming to be organized and attentive to customers. Took a long time."
    Dined on 7/22/2014
  • "Per our request , we were seated away from the kitchen windows , which if you sit there is quiet bright. We prefer the subdued lighting ! The service was very attentive throughout the meal, including attention to our wine glasses.l. The food was very good. The desert was great. We had a great time- as we always do at Dry Creek."

  • "I had a friend visiting from Italy and wanted to share the wonderful gatsronomic-enologic-experience of "Dry Creek Kitchen"! She truly loved and enjoyed every minute of our evening. From the moment we walked in, until we finished our meal, it was another unbelievable experience. Our server Ben, was personable, knowledgable, engaging and eager to do whatever he could to make our evening memorable...and he did! The sommelier Courtney, also tended to our wine needs by answering questions and pointing us in the right direction when pairing wines with our food selections...another BIG success! thank you "Dry Creek Kitchen" for once again showing why you are my 'destination restaurant' when in CA! See you again on my next to Healdsburg!"

  • "My wife and I were told that the food is great, but be warned the service is slow. NOT true. Yes, the food was wonderful, but the service was just as Great! Our server was prompt and food came out in a reasonable pace. We never felt as if the food was coming out slow or too fast. We enjoyed the manager coming out to our table and talking with us. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary; we were pleased to see the special attention to our dessert plate recognizes our special occasion. 5 star all day and will go back."

  • "Their specialty drinks are very good - the burnt orange Manhattan was quite tasty and interesting to watch as it was being made. The Blackberry Mojito was really really good and included some HUGE berries. The amuse was excellent and included an often overlooked vegetable -kohlrabi.The scallop appetizer was great and pastry was a nice touch. The tomatoes in the Caprese style salad were absolutely scrumptious. The halibut special was cooked perfectly as was the lamb. The desserts - especially the peanut butter and chocolate were sooooooo good.Great job!"

  • "The food was perfect, but more importantly our wait staff was very personable and charming."

  • "Seated immediately with reservation. Lovely table at floor to ceiling windows on sidewalk...opened with summer breeze. Offered purse hook immediately (love it). Love that there is no corkage on Sonoma County wines and always bring my own (we're local). Always order the Scallop En Croute as an app and never disappointed. I was too full for a desert but wanted something more for the finale, asked the waiter if they had vanilla ice cream - had something close enough - I asked if they would make me an affogato and presto! Perfect ending to a lovely dinner and evening. (GM Drew is a serene and thoughtful addition and has been at the restaurant 9+ years (that always says something doesn't it?))."

  • "Great service and food. Can't go wrong here. Went with a non-foodie and she was impressed. Servers are attentive and make it very personable."
    Dined on 7/10/2014
  • "Quiet evening on a Monday, service was the outstanding feature, while the tasting menu was our choice, the portions are very small and the presentation was beautiful the need for restaurants to use a large plate and very small portions only makes it even more obvious. The service of the staff was excellent and even playful and fun at times during the experience."
    Dined on 7/7/2014
  • "Creative and excellent entrees, including rack of lamb with house-made sausage and polenta. Wonderful service. Good selection of Sonoma wines (smaller vineyards)."
    Dined on 7/7/2014
  • "Food is presented beautifully. Everything is very fresh. I had a salad with greens, lomo ham, sliced peaches that was fabulous. I also had their crispy spring chicken on a bed of wonderfully flavored mushrooms and fava beans. Staff was attentive but not annoying. Outside seating was lovely and comfortable."
    Dined on 7/7/2014
  • "Oh, it was memorable, but not how you would think. Our visit to Dry Creek Kitchen was absurd. 50% of the menu was either substituted or out. As we say in the restaurant business, 86'd. Cannot believe that no one on staff could not find halibut, bass or lamb in all of Healdsburg to stock an otherwise under ordered chef's kitchen. We were told- "We would rather run out than have extra." Totally absurd, as it says we care more about numbers than our guests. We finished our champagne, paid our bill, and left. We won't be back."
    Dined on 7/6/2014
  • "We didn't sit on the patio, but I wish we had...it looked beautiful! Food was very good but not particularly memorable. The environment is formal, and very lovely, but perhaps a tad stuffy for our taste. I would definitely suggest this restaurant for a special occasion and for those whol like the white linen vibe."

  • "Dinner was amazing & so was the 2012 bottle of Rochioli Pinot. Our Server was attentive but not too attentive - I will refer my friends"

  • "We had the Farmer's Market special with wine pairing. It was excellent, and the waitress and sommelier were very knowledgeable. The general staff exuded old-fashioned good service, which was very refreshing."
