Progressive American cooking rooted in Sonoma County

Legendary Chef Charlie Palmer seamlessly blends his Progressive American style with the rich bounty of Sonoma County, along with the most expansive, exclusively Sonoma County wine list in the world. Here you’ll discover the freshest, hyper-seasonal ingredients that are grown and raised by farms up the road, and wines by vintners you visited earlier in the day. We’re proud to call Healdsburg home.

Choose from our three-course nightly dinner menu, indulge in Chef Shane’s ever-changing six-course tasting menu, or enjoy our celebrated Thursday night Sonoma Neighbor menu. For a more casual evening, dine at Dry Creek Kitchen’s bar or savor light bites and hearty burgers at Hotel Healdsburg’s lobby Spirit Bar. Welcome to our kitchen, where we celebrate the essence of Sonoma County, every day.

Was really looking forward to this Was a bit disappointed Food was generally good but halibut was overcooked and dry as a bone. Not what I would expect for this level of establishment or the price I would recommend this place but stay away from the fish

The service was outstanding! The food… just ok. And for the price, definitely not worth it. Our steak was super fatty, burned on the edges and raw in the middle. The chowder overly salty, and the potatoes less than exciting. The asparagus was near perfect, though! Our server and the asparagus were the highlight! The strawberry salad was also quite good! Wines by the glass were either barely ok or $33/ glass for something good! I might try the bar next time, but definitely won’t go back to dine. Just too pricey for what we were served. Too many other awesome choices close by … either for a much lower price-point… or …substantially better meal at the same/similar cost.

We booked a table on the patio and brought a bottle of Saxom White. Our waiter was less than polished- within a few minutes of being handed the menu he was pushing us to order. We tried to hint that we were enjoying our cocktails and would order shortly. Again, within a few minutes, wanted us to order. I had to tell him to STOP rushing us. My salad came swimming in dressing and I noticed several ants on and in my salad- I pointed the ants out to the waiter and he pulled out his pen and placed it in my food to remove the ants…? Seriously. Never asked me if I wanted a new salad and he did NOT take the salad off the e bill. Charlie Palmer this waiter is in need of serious training.

Our waiter Matt was fantastic, offering us sips of the wines by the glass we chose. As a Certified Sommelier, this is a brilliant guest satisfaction move; I wish all restaurants did this. The clam chowder was fantastic and had flavour and clams galore. I ordered the avocado which was sprinkled with sesame and finished with delicious red caviar. Great starters. The halibut was beautifully prepared and the duck breast was also delicious. The desserts even had desserts! What a fantastic meal. The service was excellent, as staff appeared at the right moment always. Such a lovely experience and delicious and memorable meal. We will be back!

The three course tasting menu is a good way to sample the amazing food at Dry Creek. The shrimp buns were excellent for an additional $11. The fillet was perfection with the most delicious oxtail sauce. My husband had the salmon which was perfectly cooked with a wonderful purée. We look forward to dining at Dry Creek whenever we are in town!
