Warm wine served up from the wine kegs. $70 bottle of Rombauer was put in a wine bucket filled with cold water. You will need to ask for bread. You will need to ask for a drink napkin so your water glass does not drip on you while you are having dinner. Not much sophistication at DCG...too bad because it is really a nicely decorated restaurant.

Good food, wine and very lively place. Was something missing? Yes our waiter :-( I am happy I ordered a bottle of wine so I did not have to deal with it like my girlfriends did waiting and waiting, saying I'll be right there 20 minutes later hmmmm where is he.. This went on for 3 hours.. Thank god we make our own good time

We've dined at Dry Creek Grill many times but last Sunday night the service was terrible as was the food. The kale salad was a wet soggy mess and was returned uneaten. My husbands Ahi tuna salad was terrible as well. Our guests scallops and prime dip were good so they said. I think something was way off - short staffed, the chef didn't show up, whatever. Huge disappointment.

Nestled in a strip mall you would never guess the quality of the food and service here. The menu Steaks were prepared exactly to order and the au gratin potatoes were pretty good. Was slightly disappointed in the brussel sprouts though, the bacon overkilled the vegetables. Physical space is upscale but not stuffy. The service was on point. We sat at a table however noted that the bar was impressive and inviting. Enjoyed the fact that they use local produce and ingredients where they can. We will be returning to taste their barbequed meats.

Since having children, my husband and I only get one date night per month and we love being able to start the night with excellent food and live music of any kind. A long while back we discovered Dry Creek and were delighted by the excellent appetizer menu and wine selection- the kicker, both times (non holiday even) there was music. Once it was a small 2 or 3 person bluesy band and the other time just a dJ. We were a little sad that there isn't regular music any longer. Our waiter told us they only offer it now on Valentines day and once and a while. The noise level of talking is pretty high here, the music was a nice backdrop. We enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter, Colin, was very attentive (not overly) and the water guy was so friendly!

Steak was not cooked to temperature ordered, Ahi tuna was overcooked, waiter did his best to ignore or table while attentively serving the group of women next to us. The bus boy was more helpful and available. Will not be returning despite the fact that it was highly recommended by a family member. Too much to pay for a substandard dinner...

We came here as an informal birthday celebration, but didn't say anything to the restaurant. The waiter saw the card on the table and asked about it. Dinner was fantastic. Our waiter chose a great wine to go with all of our assorted meals. We waited for the dessert menus but they never came. Eventually the waiter arrived with a giant piece of chocolate cake and a giant piece of cheesecake with candles on top! Really lovely evening.

It was our first visit to Dry Creek Grill. The menu has a section with steaks, a bbq section where entrees come with cole slaw and beans, the chef's specials, and a great burger list. The 1/2 chicken on the specials came with mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts with bacon. The chicken is from a local organic farm and was very good. The meatloaf is also worth trying and comes with bacon on top and a bbq glaze. The atmosphere is dark and woody inside and feels comfortable. The bar is lively and can be loud at times. If you want a quiet dinner ask to be seated on the left side of the restaurant for better dinner conversation. I would go again.

For starters, service was gd. Fr d hostess at d front to our server, it was gd. When it comes to d food, I'm conflicted. Ordered d cheese plate appetizer n tt was ok. For d main, I ordered the St. Louis pork ribs (too much gravy, v salty n d meat was kinda tough on d sides) beans with bacon (v tasty but after awhile, tasted v salty too) and coleslaw. Hubby had d rib eye (quite blend) with mash potatoes n broccolini. Dessert - Boston cream was v gd though.

This was my fourth time to Dry Creek Grill, and I enjoy it each time. The food is consistently good, if not excellent and the service is always friendly. The cocktails are pretty good. In my opinion, it lacks the charm of similarly priced restaurants, but that being said, it is always a decent meal. The menu has a large variety, which is nice. (I think this is perhaps why none of the dishes feel really special though...)

This was our first time - and we didn't realize the "sports bar" side of the venue. A first for me, an upscale sports bar. I has a great scallops entree. Like most restaurants that are noisy it is often hard to hear and be heard by staff. I would go again - but probably check to see the sports events happening that night!

Six members of my family took my mother to Dry Creek Grill for her 87th birthday dinner. The service and food were wonderful and we had an epic 18 inning Giants playoff game on the bar TV for entertainment. I had made a note of my mom's birthday when I reserved on OpenTable and the first thing our waiter Mike did when he got to the table was wish her Happy Birthday which made her smile. After the meal, huge portions and delicious, they brought mom a piece of chocolate cake (on the house) with a candle. Thank you Mike for being so attentive and thanks to Dry Creek Grill for making mom's birthday special.

Dry creek grill has always delivered excellent service and food. It has great ambiance as well. We especially like the bar area. Their bartender has come up with some excellent cocktails! We love to come to DCG just to see what might be new on the list. The lamburger and the brussel sprouts are so good we order them very time. This last time the chef sent out a complimentary appetizer for us! Everything was delicious and we had very attentive service as well.

My husband and I came to Dry Creek Grill on the recommendation of one of my coworkers. It was his birthday and he enjoyed another popular steakhouse chain; I wanted to find something that was a step up in experience and quality. We immediately liked the atmosphere - although a bit noisy (it was pretty busy, a good sign). The service was great, and I appreciated the waiter going over the menu. The only thing I felt we could 'ding' the restaurant on was that the wait time for our meal was a bit long, but the appetizer tided us over until then. My husband ordered the rotisserie chicken pasta and I ordered the filet mignon. Both were extremely good. They were kind enough to give us a free piece of cheesecake for dessert. We'll be back for sure.

This was a return visit for myself but had friends along who were first timers to DCG. We were seated promptly and our drinks arrived sooner than expected. Jessica took our order and she never made us feel rushed or hurried. The food was wonderful, steaks cooked to order, scallops were perfect and the oysters were delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and the desert provided prompted us to order more deserts! We were all leaving with some leftovers and not a bit hungry or feeling that it could have been more. Thanks again to DCG, well done again.

We have now visited DCG 3 times in the past 2 years. The food is consistently good, well cooked, and fresh. The drinks are of generous proportions. We were initially shown to a table in the bar area that was located beneath a large screen TV, but they cheerfully re-seated us in the more intimate area of the restaurant at a booth for two which we liked very much. Our waiter was very well informed about the menu and made good suggestions. The meal was very nicely served. It came out fairly quickly - maybe a little too quick, but it's better than waiting too long. Our only negative is that DCG is a little on the expensive side which keeps us from visiting more frequently. Dinner and drinks for 2 was well over $100.

We went to have a nice romantic meal, but were not prepared to be in a room with six TVs running sports. The best part of meal were the raw oysters. Scallops were small, but were cooked correctly. Not disappointed that we tried it, but if we go back again, we will just sit at the bar.

What a great find! My wife and I have driven by tons of times but finally went in this past Saturday night. I had made a reservation for 7:15, and while the place was busy, it didn't feel packed or full. It was also a little nicer than I had expected, and felt a little out of place with my shorts. Not that it's a suit and tie type of place, but nice jeans and a collared shirt are more appropriate than shorts and a tee-shirt. The food was GREAT, although more pricey than I would've thought. The prices were on par with some 4-star chop houses, but the flavoring and coloring of my Ribeye was perfect. My wife had the Wild Alaskan Salmon and risotto, which i had a few bites of and was fantastic. Overall, recommended for date nights!!

Our waiter was excellent. He asked us up front if we were in a hurry or were we here to enjoy and take our time. He gave us plenty of time to decide and order. Made sure everything was good. Told us about the dinners and recommended items. 3 out of the 4 of us got the Prime Rib so good! I would order the Prime Rib again. We had drinks and dessert. Nice and relaxing time. After dinner we went outside to sit in front of the firepit to chat and hang out before we headed to our next stop for the night. Over all a very nice night and good food.

Even though our experience was lovely. The hostesse was not happy she couldn't sit us up in the bar area. I made reservations to eat a quiet lovely dinner with a great friend, I requested a booth. I'm disappointed she chose to put a look of disappoinment on her face and a tone in her voice. Maybe she's young, maybe she's never worked in the food industry needless to say she is the first encounter for your lovely restaurant. Hostessing is a very important role , I hope she knows this:)

First of all, we loved the atmosphere and were very well attended to by our waiter and staff. However, we had mentioned that it was our friends anniversary and there was no special attention to it. No free dessert or even when we ordered dessert, no candle or anything. Very surprised about that. Otherwise, the food was great and the ambiance wonderful as always. 3 of us at the table had the special which was halibut and 1 had the ahi tuna. All were great. The presentation was beautiful. The salads were split and equally tasty. We had crab cakes as an appetizer and loved them too! We would recommend this restaurant to many, altho pricey, found it to be a great experience.

Make no mistake, we love this (recently discovered) restaurant. The food and service here is truly excellent. Which makes it all the more baffling that an email (through the restaurant web site) prior to our last visit regarding a dessert for a very special occasion was simply ignored. Similarly, a special seating request, standard on our Open Table reservation request, was also unread or ignored. A very small step up from getting customers served to catering to clients would be appreciated.

This has been the second time I've hosted a small birthday party at this location and both times were very successful. The service is wonderful, the food even better. It's a vibrant noise level, but OK. The place is located in an odd place, next to a gym, but all the more surprising when you see their beautiful interior. We had the deviled egg appetizers, Caesar Salad, chili soup and salmon. Each was delicious and they treated us to a dessert of our choice, a tasty lemon cake. All in all, wonderful evening was had by all!

First off, I don't mind spending good money on good food. The food here is good but I believe the steaks and Salmon were a bit overpriced. They do have choice cuts but the Filet and Rib Eye seemed mainstream and not out of the ordinary as the price would indicate. Perhaps cooked improperly and uneven. With that, Our dinner for five was fantastic. I would suggest the skirt steak and the meatloaf. These seemed to be the favorite at our table. Service was excellent and very personable. My son started to joke about how they had someone dedicated to watching his water glass because it was never empty. Great atmosphere and again excellent service. This was an Anniversary dinner and they made it memorable. We will be back.

The crab cakes were very good, the ribeye steak for very poor quality and over cooked, and side dishes were too salty. Many restaurants way-over salt food. All in all just an ok experience. We will not go back.

Dry Creek Grill is a very well designed place with a large bar. The food is moderately expensive, and the environment is great with 4 large screen TVs on the wall. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This place will work for a group or dinner for two.
