Diner Reviews
  • "I was on a first date. The restaurant's ambiance and friendliness of my server made me feel relaxed."

  • "Server seemed disengaged and uninterested in receiving and placing our order. Slow on bringing initial menus and drinking water."

  • "Great food and service. Appreciate the owner's personal touch with patrons. One of our favorite places to eat."

  • "The mixed salad and halibut were outstanding as was my wife's cocktail. The flank steak was good, but not outstanding. The service was not the best. It was slow, the server forgot the bread and also forgot to bring my drink. The dining room was loud due to a (good) band at the bar."

  • "This is one of my absolute favorite brunch spots. We try eating here at least once a month. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Their food has never disappointed. Melt in your mouth pancakes, awesome French toast and the delicious eggs benedict. The serving size is excellent for sharing. Usually everyone in our group wants a little sample of each other’s plates since it’s all so tasty. The ambiance is informal and approachable, without being overly casual. The mimosas are divine!!!! Also the bar is fully stocked with all my favorite brands of spirits."

  • "Drews offers excellent food. Professionally presented, they are pictures and candy to the eye. Service is seamless and wine list pretty good, not deep, but they offer some good wines. Bread basket brings 3 types of bread, artichoke spinach dip with homemade chips is a repeat....gotta do this if you like these flavors. They prepare seafood perfect, never dry. Go and enjoy."

  • "This is the second or third restaurant at this location and it was not very full, though we were there at 6:30 PM, which might be earlier for its regular crowd. Was disappointed they did not have mint jelly to go with their rack of lamb. I grew up in NJ, IL and AZ and it was always available in those areas."

  • "We've eaten at Drew's several times, at different times of day, and have a good feel for the place. Each experience has been excellent. If you've ever eaten good (no, great) food in Manhattan, Drew's will touch a soft spot in your heart. From the perfectly prepared NYC-style thin crust pizza (fresh ingredients, great cheese & sauce, and slightly charred crust) to the PERFECT Reuben or pastrami on rye (huge portions of deli meats flown in fresh from NYC), you can't go wrong. Desserts are amazing, but humongous. Staff are always friendly and attentive. We have yet to fully explore Drew's menu, but plan to do so, if I can get myself to stop ordering the Reuben (yes, it's THAT good). Overall: EXCELLENT."

  • "Great varied menu. Awesome drinks and friendly bartender. The Sangria on tap is a must try! The food was all fresh, and delicious..dessert was eaten on the open patio as we had after dinner drinks and a cigar. Amanda was our server, and did a wonderfuljob! The owner Drew was very involved with his patrons, and we enjoyed having conversion and a drink with him on the patio....We will be back!"

  • "Excellent food! Best lobster bisque I have had! The owner was visible and rounding with customers. The band they had was awesome! Perfect music for an evening dinner date. Hope to see them at Drew's again."

  • "I loved the atmosphere, prompt welcome, friendliness from all, and the humbleness of Drew himself who makes it a point to meet you and make you feel at home! The menu is fantastic, with good healthy foods to choose from, and "Freshly Made"".we've been here a few tomes now, an is defiantly a favorite! Definitely a five star restaurant!"

  • "What happened? The service was slow and inattentive, one of my guests got the wrong steak! French fries never arrived, and the duck was undercooked and still had fat on it. The skin was not crispy. I had frequented this establishment several times (lunch and dinner) and had great experiences. Has management changed? Anyway, not the best of dining experiences."

  • "My wife has been gluten-free since August, 2013 and has been trying to find gluten-free pizza that is edible ever since. She finally found it at Drew's. She said it was one of the best pizzas she ever had and that it puts all other gluten-free pizzas to shame. I think it's because Drew has an outstanding pastry chef who has found a way to make GF pizza dough that is robust and delicious."

  • "We had stopped here for happy hour after work and really enjoyed the bar. The Lemon Drop and the Margarita are the best in town. Decided to go their for my birthday. Best choice ever! Steve had the ribeye and mashed Yukon potato and I had the ribeye and stuffed potato. My salad and Steve's clam chowder started off this meal perfectly! The place was busy and the service excellent. We decided to make Drew's our monthly date night place! Great drinks and awesome food!"

  • "The omelet with lox and an everything bagel with cream cheese was great! Not to mention the devine mini muffins!! The coffee was hearty and readily refilled without being asked! The table at the window was almost like sitting outside without the chill....bright, airy, cozy feeling. we never got a feeling of being rushed-pleasant Sunday brunch was truly a delight!"

  • "Drew's is an awesome place to dine. Our waiter "Ace" was very intuitive and he kept just the right amount of distance where we could enjoy our meal without being interrupted, and not feeling neglected. The food was great and different."

  • "Chuck was our waiter and was great. We sat at their outside patio because the weather was nice, slight chill but with the outdoor heaters it made a nice night outside. For being next to freeway was still quiet. The food was great from the calamari, salad and steak. They were out of the famous banana pudding, which I feel if it's famous, it should never be out. Overall had a great time with friends."

  • "Our second evening visit to Drew's within the last 30 days. Even though the fantastic Nelgai antelope chops weren't available, our group of four happily feasted on chicken parmigiana, a signature "Rachel" sandwich and savory, tender grilled salmon. (Call a few days ahead and ask Drew if he can get some Nelgai brought in) Our waiter, Jose, was extremely friendly and efficient. Drew, the owner, came by and asked us sincere questions about the quality and presentation of our food. This is a wonderful restaurant."

  • "I have been to Drew's a couple of times, but this was the first time for my husband. We were sat quickly, but not rushed to order at all. We both had steaks; I had the filet and he had the ribeye; both were excellent. We would go back again for a special occasion."

  • "Reviews were mostly positive on Open Table, so I reserved a table for New Years Eve. Well appointed with contemporary decor. Quickly seated, and menu promptly offered by the hostess. Waiter appeared after an unforgivable delay, returned with our drinks, and disappeared for an eternity. This was surprising, as tables around mine, served by different wait staff, were promptly and efficiently served. Dinner arrived after another epic wait. Cobb salad was OK. Greek salad with chicken was much better. When our waiter finally returned with the check, I asked his name: Jose. So, if you find yourself at Drew's, upon arrival, ask for your table, and ask not to be seated in Jose's section."

  • "Drew's does a nice job for lunch. On the day of my visit, me and my guest shared a pizza and each had a generous cup of the clam chowder. Both of us commented on how flavorful the soup was and that it was not light on the clams. The wood-fired pizza was a nice balance to the meal and left us more than satisfied. I'll definitely return to Drew's!"

  • "Drew's provided an amazing culinary experience and a lovely evening. The evening began with Drew himself coming to our table and welcoming us. I ordered one of the specials - fresh scallops with a fabulous mango sauce - just what a foodie like me would love!!"

  • "We have been dining at Drew's for several years and keep coming back for good food, good service and overall great experience. The restaurant is very child-friendly, the wait staff is attentive and patient with young children. The kids menu is excellent, also. Perfect for families! This time, we asked for a holiday special that was not on the menu yet, but the owner personally asked the kitchen to make us an order. Luckily, they had all the ingredients! Excellent service all around!"

  • "On a blustery November eve, my husband and I chose Drew's for our 43 rd wedding anniversary dinner. Obviously , we are not Spring Chickens anymore, but the attention we were given and the elegant and delicious rack of lamb topped off with a delightful Argentine Malbec melted away the years and we were once again a young, in love, couple. As always drew stopped at the table to visit with us and on learning of our special treated us to dessert."

  • "Excellent food, AWFUL service. I advise people to not sit in Jose's section. He was not very attentive. I think he forgot to put our order in bc it took almost an hour to get our food. I was brought out the NY strip when I ordered the filet and Jose did not apologize or seem the slightest bit concerned when I told him mine was wrong. He brought out a dessert that we DIDN'T order and then charged my parents for it. He blamed his awful service by having tables on both sides of the restaurant. He was not assigned those tables and just decided to take them bc he was greedy and wanted to boost his sales. After discussing our experience with the manager to make up for the awful service, we were given a gift card and the dessert was taken off."

  • "The Friday night my wife and I went, they had Nelgai antelope chops, harvested from ranches in So. Texas. Two big rib portions of dense, delicious and virtually fat-free meat --comparable to choice venison backstrap in flavor and quality. Highly recommended. Call ahead, as it's a special menu item. On the other hand, my wife ordered the reuben, which at lunch is a classic sandwich. The dinner portion is bigger and served open face, and resembled on the plate an alien version of of a cheesy chicken-fried steak. Unacceptable. But Drew's overall is a fine restaurant, which also features a lively Sunday brunch, highlighted by eggs benedict and unlimited mimosas for $10. The owner, Drew, visited every table and truly cares about his patrons."

  • "I had the crab cake appetizer and was a bit disappointed. You see I lived for a while in Maryland, the home of the Maryland crab cake, which to me is the gold standard. The one I had at Drew's had more "filler" for my taste."

  • "Went for the first time with my with. Our waitress was great. My wife had the New York strip and I had the Salmon; both were outstanding. For dessert we split a slice of cheesecake, talk about a big slice. We both were very impressed with the menu of drinks, which was bigger than the food menu. Overall we were very pleased and will go back again for another night out."

  • "Appetizer of caprese salad was visually appealing and the flavors melded perfectly. The shrimp and scallops over pasta were perfectly prepared. But dessert, well, it was good in theory, but didn't really work in practice. It was a huge ice cream sandwich thatwas difficult to eat due to the size and hardness of the ice cream. The cookies were good, but also hard. We left almost half on the plate. I mentioned this to the server. All she said was that she thought the cookies were supposed to be warm. So dessert was the only disappointment."

  • "The food was subpar, luke warm, and taste did not meet the expectations I had of a fine dining facility. The wait staff was responsive in filling drinks when we asked, bringing things when we asked, but did not take initiative to do these things on their own so as to earn their tip. We will not be returning and will advise others to eat elsewhere if asked for a recommendation."
