Our children gave us a dinner at Dressler's for our 45th Wedding Anniversary. Our experience was perfect for this special occasion which began with the complimentary champagne! The staff made sure we were pleased with everything and in need of nothing. We were totally impressed with the flavors and the amount and the quality of crab in the crab dip. The entree was exactly what we wanted and exceeded our expectations with the delicious sauces on the beef with the beef cooked just as we prefer. We would definitely go back and enjoy Dressler's again in the future and recommend it to our friends and family!

This is the third time we have been to Dressler's and it was great again. The service and food were wonderful. Our waiter Acer (hope I spelled it correctly) was just magnificent. He allowed me to taste the wine before we agreed on the kind we wanted.

I must confess that we received a coupon in the mail for dinner for 2 and it was very good. My husband had the heart of rib eye which was a perfect portion for him but might not be enough for a younger man. Our dinners came steaming hot which my husband really likes. The meals were cooked exactly as we ordered! Their cheesecake and chocolate cake are worth saving some room for. We would have eaten outdoors but it was a bit muggy which was too bad as on Saturday night there was live entertainment.

DRESSLER'S is a rare, special treat. When you enter you're greeted like you are entering a good friends home. The staff is warm, friendly and happy to see you. Now to the incredible food and service. There are just not enough positive words to say about both. The food is among the very best in Charlotte. My husband and I think it truly is the best. You cannot go wrong with whatever you order. It's all sheer perfection. Thanks Scott, the amazing chef. Service is so far above par that few restaurants even come close. Every friend that we have either gone to DRESSLER'S with or recommended it to have gone back and loved it.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Dressslers. They had a complimentary champagne toast waiting for us and gave us the best table in the house. Food and service were excellent. I recommend the warm crab dip for an appetizer. The best in Charlotte. Can't wait to go back!

Jon and his crew get it right every time. Seafood, steak, whatever you want, it is presented in a very appealing way, with great attention to detail and no stuffiness. Service is on par with top spots in town. Great cocktail menu, reasonably priced very good wines, and awesome desserts. Crab Dip to start (don't miss this), and be sure to sample Mom's Apple Cake and/or Mom's Cheesecake - both are top shelf!

The food, service and ambiance was wonderful. Kevin was our server and he made great suggestions about the wine, beer, entrees and desserts. He was very attentive and helpful despite having multiple tables in his section. This was my husbands first time there and he raved about everything (which is a hard feat to achieve!). We will definitely be going back soon :-).

My husband and I had never dined at DRESSLER'S before yesterday. We've been there for dinner too many times to count and it's ALWAYS been fabulous. We decided to give it a try for lunch. WOW,it was FANTASTIC,no surprise there given their quality. Our server Kurtis, was marvelous. There was nothing more he could have done to make our meal perfect. Kurtis anticipated every need that we could have had to make this lunch special. Erik, the manager, is so great at what he does. He too is fantastic. Jon Dressler, was out of town but believe me he had no worries with Erik at the helm. Food, service, professionalism are all PERFECT at DRESSLER'S.

We really enjoyed our drinks and dinner except for one issue, that happened at our last experience here too! I don't know what is being added to the food, but both times my husband and is ate here, we both swelled up and got so puffy we could barely get our wedding bands on and my shoes were so tight I had to take them off. This rarely ever happens to me unless I'm using soy sauce at a sushi place. Otherwise, the drinks and food were very good. My husband had the lamb chops and I had the filet mignon. Both perfectly seasoned and cooked! The calamari appetizer is excellent albeit a smaller portion than last time. We'd definitely dine here again, but only on a night I can deal with my hands and feet swelling up.

We have been to Dressler's Metro several times and have never had anything less than a stellar dining experience. We enjoyed the calamari appetizer (always), the perfectly seared tuna (huge!), and my husband had the crab cakes. The only reason I gave the service four stars instead of five was miscommunication. When I said I wanted my tuna cooked black and blue, he said "Blackened?" And I said yes, not thinking that he might have meant blackened as in blackened with the Creole seasoning blackened. Which didn't go so well with the sesame seed rice cake and wasabi salad under the tuna. But as I said, it was cooked perfectly and I had no trouble taking half of it home. We will definitely be coming back!

I arrived 15minutes early and was immediately seated. There was a large cocktail buffet on the terrace and at least 3 large parties of 10 already seated for dinner as well as most tables full. I never had to wait for service and the food was of the same quality that I have grown to expect at Dressler's. Eric was attentive as was his staff. I ordered a Caesar salad and the lobster and shrimp linguini. Both dishes were superior and I could not complete my meal due to the generous quantity. My only suggestion is regarding the bread served....while it was good it was not special.

When you dine at DRESSLER'S expect nothing but excellence because excellence is just what you'll receive. The appetizers are incredible. The Thai calamari in peanut sauce cannot be beat. The crab dip with toast is chuck full of huge lumps of crab. The choices of main courses are plentiful. The thing is that whatever you choose you'll love. Desserts are delicious. Jon Dressler's mother makes most of them and if you want perfection well here you'll have it. Jon Dressler loves what he does and boy does he do it with sheer excellence. Erik, the GM , is completely hands on. He wants you to be both happy and satisfied with your dining experience. Get lucky, and have Kent as you're server. There is none better.

My husband and I dined at Dressler's for the first time this past weekend. It was a great experience. First of all the restaurant was nicely decorated with a fantastic view of the Uptown area. The outdoor seating looked nice even though we opted to sit indoors. Our server was attentive and very helpful. Our meals were so delicious. My husband had the ribeye and liked it very much. I ordered the salmon which was cooked to perfection. We decided to order dessert after hearing that most of them were made by the owner's mom. We had the most incredible carrot cake! We will definitely make a return trip to Dressler's!

First, the hostesses were actually dressed like ladies!Very nice and sweet. Good waitress, fun table outside. Able to watch the people biking, walking and strolling with kids. The food was very good, but VERY over priced for what we got. No salad and only slices of bread, kinda strange. We had a very nice time and didn't feel rushed, but will not go back. Almost $100.00 including tip for 2 dinners and 1 iced tea.

The food was fantastic and so bountiful we had to take our apple cake home in a takeout box. For our next day's lunch it was delicious and still moist. We came here for our second anniversary dinner on a Monday night and had requested a booth in our reservation. We were sat at what seemed to be the only full booth, which was very private and cozy. The food was wonderful, and our server was great about giving us enough time to make decisions, but also checked on us just enough. We arrived at 6pm, and it was pretty quiet, but by the time we left there was a lot more energy. I would expect it to be crowded on a weekend night. Overall, a great dining experience!
