I had the sea bass special - the sauce was bland, the flavors were only so-so. Husband had the crab cakes - beyond the first bite they were also only so-so. I made my reservation on line and followed it with a phone call few minutes later. They had already received my reservation. Even though we were 15mins late because of the rain, we were ushered to our table within 5mins. The waiter was nice. The food was very good. I was extremely impressed by the owner, Jon Dressler, and the fact that he works the floor and ensures that each guest is having an enjoyable experience. As a customer, I have noticed that the successful restaurants are the one's at which the owner is actively engaging with the customer. It makes a big difference.

Two in our group had filets, one had crabcakes and one had the bone-in ribeye special. All enjoyed their orders. Three had Caesar salads and two of us shared thai calamari, which was unique and good. We all had dessert, but I must say that the special for the night, peanut butter chocolate chip cheesecake was delicious! Probably the best thing of the evening! We were celebrating our daughter's 19th birthday and it was a great night. Our first time there and great experience. A little noisier than I expected & a crowd of girls outside taking pictures of Nick Jonas dining inside was a little distracting. Good use of natural light so I wasn't straining my eyes looking at the menu. A bit pricey, but was to be expected and ended up worth it. Manager, John Glen, made even our first visit memorable by going out of the way to show great hospitality. We always bring carrot cake home to enjoy the next day! We were in our new car and the valet guy parked a car for a smoker and then got our car and his clothes were covered on ciggerate smoke and it carried to our car.
