Dream Cuisine CafeA Little-Known GemThis restaurant is a treasure. The chef/owner is a master at creating wonderful French Mediterranean dishes. Particular favorites are the mango-prosciutto small bite and the apple tarte tat in.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AM"Dream Cuisine" - wonderfulThis was the third time I've been to "Dream Cuisine" and I'm already looking forward to next time. Try the mussels in a saffron sauce and for the entre I'd recommend any of the lamb dishes.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMSuperbDream Cuisine was excellent!
The chef is from Lyon, and he cooks everything to perfection. It's not Parisian food; it's food from the South of France. So it's a little different than what you might expect from a French restaurant.
The wait staff is friendly and knowledgable, and on Friday there's a guitar player.
The food is first and foremost for coming. The price fix at $35-$45 for three courses makes it a great deal too!
What a gem of a restaurant!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMDo not tell anyone! The chef takes pride in offering fresh food, extraordinary sauces, an exquisite small menu, nutritious food, exceptionally friendly atmosphere and low cost. There is a dining atmosphere, not a get people in and out. We have eaten at the Dream Cuisine Cafe numerous times. The restaurant is a BYO; thus, wine snobs can bring quality wines. The chef is available to discuss and show his food before you order; however, you would need to be somewhat bold and ask. If I were to compare the quality of this restaurant to any Delaware Valley restaurant, I would rate it as either #1 or #2, without considering cost. With the consideration of cost, it is #1.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food, Outstanding Service! We enjoyed everything from salads to small plates to entree's! The service was great, no rush, relaxed just like in France!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is excellent, preparedFood is excellent, prepared with care and quality ingredients. The price fixe may seem pricey at first look but you get your choice of any appetizer (small bite), entree and dessert on the menu and it comes with their house salad which is great. Go with the price fixe. Wait staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant is small but cozy. They should make use of the outdoor space in front of the restaurant like Toscana has across the court. Their outside area isn't as big as Toscana but they could set up some tables, with greenery and it would be quite nice for summer dining. I will definitely be back.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWe dined on a Friday nightWe dined on a Friday night and the live music was a wonderful surprise. An appetizer of mussels with lump crabmeat in a saffron sauce was a delicous start. The house salad of greens, apple, gorgonzola and cranberry was lightly dressed, cold and crisp. My entre of rack of lamb was perfectly cooked and served with snow peas and a dense, rich cube of scalloped potatoes. The most difficult part of the meal was deciding if the tart tatin or the cream brulee was the best dessert. We decided on a tie and shared these great endings to the meal.
Love everything about this restaurant (except for its dorky name).5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother outstanding meal atAnother outstanding meal at DC. If you like top flight bisto cooking this is your place. Every dish contains the freshest ingredients and is flawlessly prepared and delivers maximum flavor. There really isn't a better restaurant in South Jersey.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMwe really like it here, especiallywe really like it here, especially the food. the ambiance is good, but not as good as the bites!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food- but not perfectFantastic (not perfect) French cuisine. The price fix option is the way to go for sure. I have nothing really to say about the food, but the decor/ambiance is pretty terrible. If that matters I'd skip a meal here as it will run you in the range of $100 for a couple- though it is a BYOB which is nice- and one of the servers is a beer snob like me, so you don't have to worry about those jiffy looks you sometimes get for bringing beer to a higher end BYOB.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMa wonderful dinner as usual---can'ta wonderful dinner as usual---can't wait to go back4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, excellent ambience,Great food, excellent ambience, wonderful and friendly service.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother great meal at Dream CuisineMy wife and I enjoyed another superb meal at Dream Cuisine Bistro. Every dish was terrific. My lamb chops were among the best I have ever enjoyed anywhere. Seriously, Dream Cuisine rivals the French bistros in Philly and NYC, and its a BYOB. Because we registered our birthdays, we received a $20 discount coupon to celebrate my wife's birthday. Great meal to celebrate.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMBeen Consistently Good. Some complain about the slowness of the kitchen, which we have experienced rarely among our many visits here. We find the food to be well-prepared and fresh, we are told the chef goes to market daily. The prices are reasonable - this is a BYOB so you can save greatly on your wine bill if you imbibe. I find the french onion soup particularly good as well as the trout. The Chef serves grass feed meats and we like how he tries to locally source his vegetables.2/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I had a greatMy wife and I had a great time and enjoyed our food. We had forgotten our wine, but they have a delivery service with a local liquor store. Service was very friendly and helpful. We will be going back.2/16/2013 12:00:00 AMA very nice little BYO withA very nice little BYO with a varied menu. Each course was very tasty. A bit of a wait for the first course was hard to understand considering the limited number of people in the restaurant, but the service was very good overall.12/7/2012 12:00:00 AM
