This is a good restaurant for business lunches. The food is good, but not great. The portions are on the small side. I was still hungry when I left. I recommend getting a salad or appetizer with the entree. It has a very comfortable yet upscale atmosphere. Not quite as noisy as the current trend in restaurants.

We came here to celebrate our one year anniversary. I ordered the parpadelle with pheasant which was very rich but delicious. The pasta was al dente! My boyfriend ordered the farfalle with a vodka sauce that was good as well, but I preferred mine. The tiramisu was probably the only thing I didn't like. The food was pretty good, but I thought the service was outstanding. Their mise en place was on point. One thing was that we requested to speak with sommelier, but he never showed up at our table. Our waiter (forgot his name) was such a nice guy. We found a chip in our wine glass, and he ended up comping our wine. I would definitely return again. The ambiance was great for a nice dinner, and in a good location to go bar hopping after.

Great meal. Unfortunately, we arrived a bit late (LA Traffic!), but they seated us. The service was a bit disjointed, the place was very busy. Nonetheless, the food was excellent. The octopus antipasti, so delicate. And the branzino, prepared differently than in most restaurants was truly outstanding.

Have been here several times. Food always wonderful. This time service was a bit off. Usually it's very attentive but I think waiter and bus person were new. Didn't have time for dessert even though we were there early enough before catching courtesy bus to Ahmanson. Yummy lasagna! Enough for leftovers.

It's been a couple years since I was last at Drago Centro, but I remember the food and service were superb. It certainly was in my top-five dining experiences. That's why I jumped at the chance to take a group of friends here before a show. Sadly, the Drago I remember was no more. Our waiter was very nice, but clearly overworked and not getting any support from the rest of the staff. Drinks were ordered soon after we sat down, but did not appear until well into the first course. Plates piled up on our table without anyone taking them away. Water glasses remained empty, and some dishes came out cold. The food itself was mediocre at best, and certainly not like it used to be. Sorry Drago, there's better food and service elsewhere in LA.

Looking forward to having a bite of pasta and i usually never finish it since i always have an appetizer and salad to share with my husband so I was dismayed when i opened up my to go box to find that they gave me some one else's leftovers. Not happy at all about that considering the kind of restaurant this is. I think get rid of that claim # system and give the to go boxes directly back to your diner so that less hands are handling it??? Other than that, the food was very good.

we were reminded why we let it go so long since our previous visit. Although very pleasant, the service was intermittent at best, chaotic at worst. The food was delicious. It's hard to understand how an upscale restaurant can be outstanding in one aspect and thoroughly mediocre in the other.

Be aware that you cannot visit with your friends here - only shovel food into your mouths. The noise blasts over everyone as soon as you enter. You have to be a lip reader for the person right next to you. The good is fine and the service very good but none of it matters. You can get good food and service at zillions of restaurants that respect your wish to have a conversation with your friends. This one doesn't. They're even surprised when you mention it (despite the fact that the waiters can't even hear your order). They're like pre-schoolers surprised that they're learning language! Never again.

We had an AMAZING dinner, and the level of service was SPECTACULAR. It was just unfortunate that the noise was so loud inside the restaurant that we couldn't continue our business conversation over dinner. We requested to be relocated to an outdoor table, and the staff was super courteous and diligent and in no time we had a perfect location for our business dinner to proceed. I would certainly recommend Drago Centro to anyone, and will make sure to frequent it myself.

The drive from Encino to downtown L.A. to eat at Drago Centro was worth every stop and go moment. Valet parking in the building was a snap and the elevator takes you directly to the restaurant. As we walk in, Chef Drago was at the bar and we stopped to say hello. Open and embracing, he spent quite a few minutes with us, and the rest of the very knowledgeable staff echoed his warmth and hospitality. Satisfied and satiated, our meal was filling and fulfilling. My wife had the four course tasting menu with the optional wine pairing, and for the price it was clearly the deal of the moment. While every dish was fabulous, what really stood out for us was the wild mushroom spaghetti with truffle butter and parmesan. Wow. Savory and spectacular.
