When we asked for a table away from the patio, our hostess was not pleased. She made snooty comment and then gave us a beautifu booth. Their wine selection is very extensive, even the "by the glass" choices. When I was there the last time, I had the halibut and it was cooked perfectly. The portions allow you to enjoy an appetizer, entree and dessert. Salad of apples, lardon, candied nuts and frisee was superb and outshined the beet salad in flavor. Our guest enjoyed the misto. Branzino, Salmon and Tuna were all cooked to perfection, and their accompaniaments were spot on. The only disappointment was the coffee. We would have enjoyed dessert, but we were on a theater schedule. All the food was excellent. The wine list is quite good with a large spread of wine prices. It is easy to find a good wine under $50. We had a Rosso di Monalcino for $48. They also have lots of good wines by the glass and small carafe. The carafes are 250 ML which would work well if you want to start with a white and finish with a red.
The decor is rather stark with lots of hard surfaces. We went early after an Opera Matinee so there weren't very many dinners yet and it was relatively quiet. However, it is likely that it could be quite noisy if they are busy.
