Great dinner with family. We are hitting a top Atlanta restaurant every couple of weeks and ranking them ourselves and Double Zero is the clear overall leader right now. Fabulous food, tremendous service by Stuart and others including Stephanie (the owner) and a cool atmosphere. We will definitely go back and take friends. Stuart made great recommendations and we had apps, salads, pizza, pasta and even a steak and all were awesome. Topped off by three great deserts. Awesome time.

We were seated promptly and given glasses of water immediately. Our server, Sydney, was excellent. She took our appetizer and drink orders. My Sazerac was on the money. I am not going to describe what we ate, but based on my experience with the Iberian Pig and Double Zero, it is all good. Note: We were going to another venue after dinner, but I forgot to bring the address with me. I asked Sydney if she knew where the place was located, but she stated that she did not. Anyway, she stated that she would look it up on her smartphone. Moments later, she handed me the address on a piece of paper. I really appreciate it when people go the extra mile to please their customers. Sydney thanks.

If they have the veal chop on the menu, ORDER IT. We were informed by our server that it was award winning. It. Was. Amazing! The beef cheek ravioli was on point as well. Great food, knowledgeable and informative staff. Great restaurant, but what else would you expect from the same folks that brought us Iberian Pig.

Gem of a restaurant, like all the Castellucci restaurants. Great flavors, mature Prohibition-style bar (they make old World cocktails on the premises). Ask for Tyler at the bar or table. Go to these restaurants for a taste of Italy, Spain, the Mediterranean.

...because we keep going back! And the hubby is a chef so we rarely do repeats unless it's really good because we're always wanting to try new places. Double Zero keeps things fresh with their specials. Lots of unique flavors and it's not so Italiany that you feel like all your going to get is pasta and pizza. It's a cool spot - nice décor and ambiance. Service is always awesome and every time we go, an owner or manager comes to check on us which is always a nice touch. Wish the ice blocks in the cocktails weren't so huge because there's not much liquid in the glass but they are always delish! Sandy Springs really needed this place!

Well last nite was a "DOUBLE ZERO" for us. Back we came for another birthday celebration. 6 of us. Our server was clearly not happy to be working last nite- she got several orders wrong right off the bat with appetizers and salads. But the Lobster Ravioli and Bolognese which last year we could not eat enough of was inedible with a peppery horrific spice which took our breath away. It was NOT good. We sent it back and wound up having to eat off of some of our friends who ordered pizza. And quite honestly- the pizza wasn't anything either. A piece of arugala a slap of mozzarela-No one really cared that our dinners were inedible- and that it ruined a birthday dinner. Thanks for ruining my birthday dinner.

We go here quite repeatedly and always enjoy it. Great pizzas (although a little over-charred this time). The L'Arrosta is one of our favorites and is great to share (although could use some salt everytime we get it - perhaps it's just made that way... but the accoutrements make up for it). They make awesome, unique cocktails but there's too much of the huge ice block taking up most of the glass volume. I take a few sips and then am left with a 3" cube of ice. I'm all for the single cube so as not to dilute the drink but it's a bit too big for the glass and amount of actual drink. But they are always very tasty!! I know I sound like I'm complaining but we really love this place. If you haven't been, it's a must!

I love knowing that there's a great restaurant with such wonderful food so close by in Sandy Springs. And did I mention the incredible cocktails? There's a nice offering of vegetarian dishes too though I frequently go for the pork belly risotto. Wow is it good. Tasty pizzas made with their special double zero flour from Italy and you can watch as they're baked in the huge brick oven. And you should definitely try the incredible arancini.

We felt very rushed - it was not a relaxing meal. We had to order quickly. Our waitress had our appetizers on the table within minutes, two minutes after taking that dish away we had our dinner. She kept checking on us every minute. I felt like they needed our table, but there were a lot of empty tables. We were in and out in one hour and we're not given the opportunity to just sit and relax. We would have ordered a second glass of wine if we had more time between courses.

The pizza here is to die for and the service can't be beat! We arrived as a group of four and a gentleman from the restaurant, I believe he was the owner, came over and gave us pointers on the menu and regaled us with stories regarding the "mother" or starter that was used in the pizza crust and and we really enjoyed and appreciated his attention. We ordered the margherita pizza and it was simply delicious. The crust was the perfect combination of slight crunch on the edge and chew. The tomato sauce was flavorful and the basil was fresh. Simple but very delicious pizza! We will definitely be back!

It seems as if Double Zero has fallen down a notch. My husband and I went there to celebrate our anniversary. Immediately after seating the waiter asked if we wanted to order an appetizer, we'd just been presented the menus! His delivery was clumsy and he offered us details on the specials almost as an afterthought. He was nice enough but definitely not well-trained. We ordered the brussels sprouts salad to share and it was delicious, the dressing makes it. The American Pizza was good, nice change from my husband's favorite, the Margherita. My dish, the beef cheek ravioli, had a delicious sauce but the pasta was too thick and gummy, a disappointment. The shared dessert, pesche, was good but the peaches were soaked too heavily in wine.

I am a former server so I notice most things that other people don't. One of my pet peeves is when there is no silverware on the table and we have to wait to eat our food. This was this case during every course, no plates for the appetizer, no silverware for the main course, coffee with no spoons, deserts with no plates or forks. The butternut squash fritters were delicious as well as my scallops. My pizza snob friends were not a huge fan of the pizza and the chocolate cake tasted like it had freezer burn. Everyone did LOVE their specialty cocktails!! The table next to us did it right, cocktails and a bunch of appetizers.

I went to Double Zero last night for the first time and, frankly, I was very disappointed. The ambiance is just awful. Everything is dark brown except for the floors which are gray concrete. Not a pleasant look at all. Quite dreary. My friend and I ordered The American pizza which was OK but it arrived uncut -- with scissors to cut it. We thought that was rather strange. Not worth a repeat visit.

In Atlanta there are really only 3 authentic Italian pizzerias. Double Zero, Antico, and Verasanos. Antico is crowded and expensive, Verasanos is alright but the pizza is lacking. Double Zero is the best. Huge seating areas to fit hundreds of people, and of course the pizza was real authentic wood fired and tasted fantastic. Prices were good, $15-$20 per person. Service was top notch as well. I highly recommend it.

I took some coworkers here for dinner on Monday night and the service was great. Appetizers were very good (charcuterie, cheese plate and baked mozzarella but no one was overly impressed with their dinners. They were just okay. Most of us ordered pizzas and, again, just okay. However two of us ordered the fish and beef and again - just okay. I have been here at other times and it was very good. I am assuming that Mondays may not be the A team. Also they were out of a couple of offerings. Again indicative of a Monday. We'll go back. Not fair to judge based on this, but it will be a different day.
