  • "i do not recommend this place at all, the noise is far too high, we where with 2 boys (13) ask advices when the food came it was just not eatable, it was so spicy, they did not want to do anything, replacement or other. When kids order ice tea they do not expect "real home made ice tea" it was just an awfull evening for my birthday party... no tip given that was a drama..."

  • "I had made res for 130 brunch and I had gotten there a little early. When I arrived I was standing at the front waiting for 15 min to be addressed. And while it was brunch; it was not that busy. It took 20 minutes for someone to bring menus,15 min for water, 20 min for our waitress to take our drinks. When We were ready to put in our food order but couldnt find our server. We gave our order with à différent waitress. Got our food and were rushed to finish. Always asked with full plates "are you finished with that?" And When we finished, she was pushing us to pay the bill. My friend and I were still drinking our momosas. I wanted to order another one but changed my mind when the waitress again tried to pressure us to pay our bill."

I chose it for a fun place to meet a friend for a catch up dinner and couldn't have been more impressed at the exceptional service. Not only that but the food was really delicious and flavorful. I was expecting typical, decent to good Mexican but everything we had was much better than average.The last time I was there was about 6 years ago. It definitely won't take me that long to return. The most outstanding element was the tremendously helpful and thoughtful service. The hostess was accomodating and warm and our server was attentive without being overbearing and offered helpful suggestions regarding the menu."

  • "Been to the other locations in the city, but heard this location was better. And boy is it better! We had a 7:30pm reservation but got there early and sat at the bar. Bartenders were very nice and by can the make a margarita! We were seated on time and our waitress was very good. The food was great! We went durning restaurant week and the prefix selection was great, the only item that wasn't up to par was the lemon tart. The guacamole was amazing, the sangria was exceptional, the taquitos were very good. The pork belly was amazing and my girlfriend loved the salmon. Now onto the setting. The place is decorated beautifully! The ambiance was great! And the DJ was amazing, he was the cherry on top! I will be going back soon!"

For the second round we ordered a special margarita and it was markedly better. They forgot to bring our appetizer. Area that needs the most improvement? The service. In one word... it STINKS!!!!!"

  • "I'm having a hard time rating this dining experience because the guacamole was awesome. So good. But the other food we got was meh... The brisket enchiladas were drowned in sauce and the brisket was kind of tough. It looked bleh and tasted just edible. Just not a very appealing dish. The goat dish was not very flavorful. The other dishes that I don't remember the names of weren't amazing. I wish I had just gotten the guacamole and chips and went somewhere else for the entree. Also, the service was a bit awkward. I'm a slow eater and they kept wanting to take my plates before I had finished. We were at the Park Ave. location and as we were leaving I noticed the front part of the restaurant had a much better ambiance (better lighting, etc.)."

  • "Have been here before. Food was good, but has been better. Noise level far too high -- more than I remembered. I ordered salmon and it came virtually raw. I am familiar with the trend to not over cook salmon, but this was literally raw (just seared. My friiends both had salmon "rare", but not almst raw like mine. At least it was replaced without argument.."

  • "I came here to try the Restaurant Week Lunch Menu and I was very pleased. They had great options. The crab empanadas were amazing and the portion was larger than I expected. Next I had the salmon, which was amazing also. It was cooked to perfection. Lastly, me and friend shared the desserts, which were the chocolate mousse and berry tart. Yummy!! The toffee ice cream that was paired with the mousse was so tasty. Wish I had a whole bowl of that! And the pomegranate sorbet that was paired with the tart was very good and refreshing. I will definitely go back, especially to try the happy hour. The vibe was energetic and the interior had dim lighting and nice décor."

  • "Dinner at Dos Caminos was great. Happy Hour cocktails at the bar were reasonable priced though they didn't have enough bartenders on a busy Tuesday night! Our server came and went and was then difficult to find. We ordered the Chorizo Fondito instead of guacamole and then for 3 people they gave us 3 tortillas and disappeared so we had nothing to dip! #fail. I would skip that dip and only get guacamole."

  • "I came here for a lunch during restaurant week. Not sure if there was a special menu but we ordered the mahi mahi tacos and the shrimp quesadilla which were incredible!!! My husband couldn't get enough! I also had a virgin mojito as suggested by my waitress and it was awesome. Overall we had a great time because of the food, atmosphere and service. Our waitress was friendly and didn't rush us out of there and she made a great suggestion for dessert. Can't wait to go back!!!"

  • "Standards should be kept up with other restaurants especially with the same name. Different locations but food sure isn't the best. Known for fresh guacamole but too much lime juice and cilantro. Went for restaurant week ordered a steak salad but was not asked how I wanted my steak regardless how its served (salad = cold = less cooked?) doesn't matter. Pibil was slightly on the dry side not sure if that's supposed to be that way but not what was expected of. I When desserts came my ice cream was half way melted onto the plate and had a strand of green onion on it so I had to send it back to get another "scoop" or just replated but yet ice cream still half way melted."

  • "I had a 3pm reservation for seating in a booth and arrived about 10 minutes early and was seated right away. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. We ordered from the brunch menu. We had the Breakfast Quesadilla and the Grilled Skirt Steak and Eggs which was so good that we decided to have dessert. We had the Salted Caramel Tres Leches Cake and the Mexican Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae which was heaven. I enjoyed the environment and the food so much that I'm doing a Group lunch with my coworkers to kick off the beginning of our Summer Fridays."

  • "I had the prix fixe menu for restaurant week. It was pretty delicious. I had the crab empanadas for an appetizer, which were pretty good. The filling was stuffed with crab, but it wasn't seasoned as well as I might have liked. The green sauce that came with it made a good dipping sauce to add more flavor. For the main course I had the steak option. It was delicious as well! The steak was tender and juicy, and it went well with the mole. I especially loved the rice and beans that came with the dish. Very delicious. The desert was to die for. Chocolate mousse cake with salted caramel ice cream. It was heavenly. I also had a red wine sangria with my meal. That has to be one of the best sangria's i've ever taste. VERY tasty."

Food was very good you can't beat their guacamole, it's a definite must get. I got the surf and turf tacos and my wife got the fish tacos and both tacos we're excellent. Very we'll made spice and texture of tacos were spot on. A very nice first date scene an will definitely impress your significant other."
