  • " I really enjoyed this location as it was very close to my employer and also very easy to locate. We were able to have the opportunity to sit and eat outside. The food and atmosphere were great, I really enjoyed the guacamole and the chicken taco's. I will definitely dine here again. Thanks. "

  • "As usual,the food was consistently great.The service was a bit disjointed in the upstairs dining room.When we were initially seated, it became immediately apparent that we were assigned an alternate server{Chris} to cover our table because the assigned server {Blake}wasn't present.Chris was excellent-attentive to our needs being a family of 5 w/ 3 youngsters.When Blake reappeared his disposition was not very friendly or accommodating in that it seemed that he was displeased with having to pick up where Chris began.For the remainder of our lunch service,Chris had to continuously fill the gaps in service that Blake left wide open even though Chris had to officially turn over our table back to Blake who was barely going through the motions."

  • "We are big fans of Dos Caminos, especially the Meatpacking locale. We've always enjoyed sitting upstairs or downstairs. In the past food and service have always been good. Over the last two months, however, we've visited twice and both times have been very disappointed with the service. The food remains good to very good. Not sure what is happening, but I think management needs to address this. Good service is certainly part of the whole experience at Dos Caminos."

  • "After going to a "high end" restaurant in the LES for our 11:30 pm reservations and being forced to search for another location after they made us wait on line only to tell us that the kitchen was closed and they could no longer honor our reservations. We took to Dos Caminos in the meat packing. They were more than happy to sit us right away even though it was already 12:15 am! The service here is great and the food is also pretty good! This is a great place for lunch dinner, or late night."

Only down side, was we had to wait a bit for our meal to get started due to appetizers and guacamole coming a bit slow, we understand the chefs were slammed in the kitchen by the various orders.."

  • "When we first arrived they told us 45 minutes and we were ok with that. But when we walked around the restaurant we noticed a bunch of available tables. I then just booked a reservation on Opentable for 8:45 pm. During the waiting time we asked the hostess a few times about the wait and that we just saw more people come in and get seated before us and the host shrugged us off and was very standoffish, borderline rude. Him and the lady were giving us constant attitude and I was very disappointed and felt disrespected. When I approached the host about my reservation on Opentable he just said I still needed to wait and he made us wait again for an additional 25 minutes."

  • "I've been to Dos Caminos many times and have always had a great experience, which is why I chose it again for my group of friends. The food as always was great, however, I was very embarrassed by the awful service. This was a celebration as friends were getting married the next day and we hadn't seen them in a year. The evening started great with drinks and appetizers, however it got progressively worse. The meal came out and 6 out of the 8 of us got our entrees, all come with rice and beans and those were not delivered with the entrees. It took 20 minutes for the 2 remaining entrees to come out along with the rice and beans. I also learned that 2 drinks that were ordered never came out, not a good overall experience this time around."

  • "I came here expecting to order the Fajitas but half of the menu was missing and the food was alright, nothing special. Typical chain restaurant quality. The service was horrible but what do you expect in Meatpacking District? Typical chain restaurant experience. The music here was so unfitting to the Mexican theme. They played everything from Rihanna's What's My Name to Lady Gaga Applause. Typical chain restaurant standard. If you like Dos Caminos, I would suggest going to the Upper East Side location. Better menu, better table service and better food from my experience."

  • "The restaurant was a perfect find for 8 people to join me in celebrating my birthday! The guac was amazing, the service was impeccable, the drinks outstanding. One of my guests even brought a homemade cake to the restaurant for our dessert. The waitstaff was awesome about it, too! They refrigerated it, put it on a platter, lit candles in it, and served it on plates! You guys rock!"

  • "Came here with 2 of my girlfriends on a Fri night & had a great time. I was happy that I was able to make a reservation for 8pm the day of, yet it was still crowded enough to be a fun scene. We ordered the mango guacamole which was probably our favorite of the entire night! My friends ordered the traditional margarita and prickly pear. We each ordered tacos - My friend thought the mushroom one was far too spicy for her to finish, the carnitas were delicious but the tortillas started falling apart on me. All in all, a great spot - I noticed there were a few smaller groups like us, but also larger birthday parties as well as couples. This environment fits all!"

  • "Dos Caminos was yummy!! I wouldn't recommend the drinks unless you tell them without ice. I got a cup full of ice and a splash of white sangria. But the food was good and the service was as well. We tried the guacamole which is what they are known for but I would definitely try the plaintain empanadas. I had the brisket stacked enchiladas! It was so delicious and more than you can eat I would definitely come back again. :-D"

  • "Made a last minute reservation for three at Dos Caminos and was surprised I was even able to book. A friend arrived before me and was promptly seated and attended to by Diego. He was absolutely incredible. When the rest of us arrived ten minutes late, our first seated party member already had a drink in hand and had the low down on brunch for us. Diego was attentive, fun, and very kind. He came back to the table, plying us with his earnest personality and thorough knowledge of tequilas, food history, and menu selections. He made the experience fun and I was glad to be spending my money at Dos Caminos as a consequence of his attendance to our table."

Several things on the menu for them and all delicious, I was jealous of their make your own tacos. I opted for salmon (big deal for me wanting to avoid carbs) and it was great.   • "This was my third visit to Dos Caminos. I have recommended it to friends because I like the food very much. However, all three times the service has been slow. You can be sitting at a table for 5 to 10 minutes easily before a server comes over to greet you and take a drink order. So, thats frustrating. Especially if you've been waiting for a table, or are hungry!! Also you need to look for a server to get something, look for the server to get your check. And, the restaurant was not busy. Other than that, the food is very good."
