Food was excellent, drinks were excellent, reasonable price considering where you are (it's the city, you go expecting to spend) and the waiter was a nice guy. My only complaint was the music, a wee bit too loud, I mean come on this is dinner, we'll be listening to blasting music for the rest of the night after this, we don't need it when we're just trying to eat and chat. The food as ever was very good for a mid-price place, we all found it very difficult to choose from the menu that has lots of appealing options! Two of us shared the Tour de Tacos which were very good (although not huge - have an appetiser!). I was surprised how busy it was, I had reserved a table just before we left the house just in case, and was pleased to have done so as a small group who arrived just before us (around 8.30) were turned away.

It was Cinco de Mayo and there was a party on the main floor, but I had brunch upstairs. It wasn't too crowded or noisy, which I think is important when you are trying to have a convo with friends. The waiter Chris was welcoming and friendly. The food came rather quickly, and it was very nicely made and delicious. It is a perfect place for brunch. Chris was an excellent waiter, and very caring. The music was loud, but we were still able to hold comfortable conversation without yelling at each other.
We ordered the guacamole for two and I had the strongest margarita of my life, but it was super delicious. I ordered the Carnitas, and the boyfriend had the Pollo. The food came quickly, and was excellent. Beyond excellent, actually. My boyfriend hasn't stopped talking about it since Friday. Our server was Marc, and he took good care of us.

We went for drinks and apps - both were delicious. The service is great - I made a reservation online just 3 days beforehand, the table was ready the moment we arrived, and the waiter let us go at our own pace and was there to take orders whenever we needed him. The music was loud, which made it difficult to talk to people across the table, but we adjusted seating throughout the night to work around it.
