Dos CaminosExcellent!This restaurant is excellent! Just love the food they serve. Guacamole is great, Anything I have chosen from the menu is excellent! The margaritas are so tasty, and the staff, well, I cannot say enough good things about them. Everyone from the hostess to the the wait staff were helpful, friendly, courteous!!! Chris, our waiter, suggested food and drink options that were all delicious. The ambience was perfect for the start of our night out of the town. I wanted to try a flight of tequila and was very excited to learn about the different kinds of tequila available. Ryan was so helpful and was also happy to have customers that were so interested to try something new.
We also had dinner reservations. Everyone was so nice from the hostesses at the front door, the waiter we had and all the waitstaff. My jumbo shrimp dish was so good and my husband enjoyed an open faced quesadilla with shrimp and other toppings. The water view is also very beautiful. We would come here again for drinks and dinner. The fresh margaritas and guac were amazing. My bf ordered the scallops with pineaple sauce, it melts in your mouth, so good! The minute you try them, its so good. Loved the tuna appetizer as well. Highly would recommend this pace. Also, they provide great service and are accommodating. The chips are overly salted so beware; why ruin freshly fried tortilla chips by throwing salt on them?! I'm dipping them in either salsa or guacamole so the salt is just not necessary. The food is alright; I ordered the mexican salad (I think that's what it was called) and it was ok for a salad; my bf's dinner was great though (chicken alambre) which is skewered chicken that was super juicy, flavorful and just fantastic! that seems to be the dish they recommend and I see why. I would come here with friends for chips and guac, and split a meal b/c after munching on chips/guac who has room for a full meal!? The place is a bit pricey for mexican, but the overall dining experience will win you over. Guacamole with crabment-made fresh- is a great start to the evening. The Ribeye entree is one of my favorite meals in any restaurant, anywhere. Nice festive atmosphere will be apparent as the evening fills both bar and dining room. Wait staff is very helpful. The place was packed and the only downfall was that we were at one of their very small tables with waiters and waitresses constantly passing us by. Most of the tables are not like the one we were seated at. The guacamole is delicious as was the blueberry margarita. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Very friendly/diligent server. The mangoes in our guac weren't ripe, but the salsa was really good. I wish there were more vegetarian options, but I eat fish so the shrimp quesadillas were perfect. On my drive to Atlantic City (3hrs before my reservation) I received a confirmation call at which time I was informed that because of the size of our group we would be limited to a fixed menu and not the full menu. I chose to head to the restaurant as soon as I arrive to discuss this since I was never notified prior to this. After some talking and letting them know this was unacceptable to let someone know only hours prior to a reservation (which was made a week prior) the manager finally accommodated our group. We ate a prix fixe family style menu which was a great way to try a lot of different food - and there was a LOT of food!
