  • "The place had a great vibe. Even though it was a chain restaurant, my wife and I felt like it was a mom and pop joint. Will absolutely go back."

  • "We've dined here many times previously, but this time around they changed the menu around and we weren't very impressed. The food seemed bland. The only highlight were the drinks."

  • "Love Dos Caminos in Atlantic city. I have been there just to have margaritas at the bar, date night and with friends. The food, atmosphere, and staff are all top notch. The fresh made guacamole is a must try!!!"

  • "We went here on a recommendation from a friend that visits A/C often. You must get the guacamole....it is amazing! I had the skirt steak Asada and it was delicious. My husband had the prime rib squewers and said they were perfect. The red sangria was so good that we ended up going back to the bar after our show for more sangria and guacamole...soooo good! Service was good and attentive and price was as expected. Would definitely go back ."

  • "They had the tv on while we were eating. Didn't come to us and check in. Needed to track down a waitress a few times. Did a prixfix, but added 20% gratuity. Ouch."

  • "I really went thorough the run around the day before my reservation trying to get a hold of someone who could help with my issue and although the staff seemed friendly, my issue took a long time before it was resolved. The manager Benjamin was very helpful. I was disappointed in one of the staffs' disposition on the day of our reservation. He made a snarky comment over his headset in front of me before we were seated that I thought was unprofessional. The food was delicious and came out in a timely fashion and we got shots on the house which was a nice surprise! Overall it wound up being a fun experience for me and my party, but he headache before was almost not worth it!"

  • "I went to Dos Caminos this past weekend for a bachelorette party with a group of 9 people. I made this reservsation online, and Ididnt see anything about having to use the prix fixed menu with groups of a certain size. When they called to confirm the reservsation, they merely asked if I had seen this prix fixed menu vaguely, did not mention that I had to do it. When I arrived, they just said, which prix fix menu are you getting.... so clearly I was quite confused. They explained the issue and handed us our options. The food on the selected menu was good, but there was WAY too much of it.. and they didnt even tell us what each item was as they placed it down. They also threw down in such a rushed manner."

  • "We have eaten here many times and have always been treated with amazing genuine care by all of the staff and especially Stella and Ben. We did have an issue with the pork chop being overdone, but Ben did resolve the problem and sent another dish with no charge. We will be back again."

  • "The service and ambiance were great! It was dark and there were candles lit and the music was booming. So if you don't like that kind of thing, this may not be for you. We ordered the fresh guacamole and had chips with 3 types of salsa. All delish! We also ordered the tuna ceviche! A great way to cool down the spice. The entrees, though, was where this place lacked. We all got steak dishes and the steak was very tough. I chewed and chewed and chewed the one piece for so long before I had to finally spit it out. I guess I should have sent it back but we were full from the appetizers that I wasn't too bothered at that point."

  • "Went here with a group of 7 this weekend. I had a reservation, we arrived on time but still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Thankfully, the hostess who sat us made them offer us a better table because we waited for so long. The food was good ( about $15 for 3 tacos). The Guacamole was tasty but a bit pricey, which can be expected because it is in a hotel in Atlantic City. We ordered 2 pitchers of Sangria, which was about $74.00 when the bill arrived. Again, I understand the price hike, but for the size of the pitcher, I'm not sure I would order that again. I was told that they had a great happy hour, so maybe next time I will decide to come by for that instead. Overall, we had a good time."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed an intimate dinner at Dos Caminos in February of this year. We returned in June with a group to celebrate a special occasion and were equally impressed. The staff was attentive, answering any questions, as well as providing meal recommendations and spot on service. The food was delicious. The portions were substantial and reasonably priced. The guacamole with lump crab meat was a huge hit with the entire table. The Branzino special was one of the best I have ever tasted. One word of warning, the salsa that comes on the tacos is extremely spicy! We requested it on the side, but it arrived on the tacos. It was not enough to detract from a wonderful evening. Go with family and friends and have a great time!"

  • "The first thing we noticed entering the dining room was the amazing view of the sunset over the bay. Our server Joanna was great--friendly and helpful. The food was the star. We chose the prix fix menu for $39 and we were not disappointed. There were four courses and many options to chose from. The food was all fresh and homemade and delicious. We will definitely return and recommend to everyone we know."

  • "We were a party of 10, forced to do a prix fix menu. The guacamole was good, that's basically it. First course came out, not one plate was decent, salad was ok, tuna ceviche was completely gross and heavily salted. Second course, salmon was rock hard and overdone, we sent it back. The steak was overdone and bland, shrimp was just ok. Not one time did a plate come out with serving utensils, had to ask for every course, that's just gross. We also had to ask for new plates for every course, you would think they would supply clean plates!!?? Drinks were ok, our server kept forgetting many items when returning with drink orders. Would not go back, even if it was for free."

  • "We fall in love with dos caminos every time!!! Food is always good! Got to take advantage of the $39 menu this time. The dessert was fabulous!! Margaritas are amazing. Not a bad thing to say ever about dos caminos except wish there was a restaurant closer to me in central jersey!"

  • "This was my second time to Dos Caminos, but first time to the AC restaurant. The food was very good, the restaurant was understandably busy. Only had a few complaints. We ordered the guacamole and the waitress didn't bring out any chips to go with it. Had to wait for someone to make eye contact in order to flag someone down for chips- about 10 minutes. The meals came out and the waitress didn't bring the rice and beans that were supposed to be for the whole table. Again had to wait to flag someone down. One of the girls in our party didn't get her food until the rest of us had finished ours. As an apology they gave us all a shot glass sized sample of a strawberry margarita. All in all we had a good time though."

  • "This place was absolutely awful. I made a reservation for this place over a month in advanced, they couldnt accommodate the time for our group of 8 so we had to eat late. ONLY the night before the reservation, when they called to confirm, they notified us we would have to choose from a pre-fixed menu. By that time, it was too late to change to another restaurant. When we were there, they had tried giving our table away within 5 minutes after our reservation time since everyone wasn't there - even though more than half the group was there waiting. On top of that, once we were seated, the food was NOT good and the service was horrible. We had to ask someone 3x to get the one vegitarian in our group her mean beacuse they kept forgetting."

  • "We were seated immediately upon showing up. The waitress was very nice and tried to meet our wishes. The food was disappointing, the tables were on top of each other and the prices were for top of the line food not generic mexican food. The fish was sad looking and the rice and beans slopped into a single bowl for the table was not worth the time it took to "prepare". We were quite disappointed as we could have gone next door to the steak house for the same money and had a much better meal."

  • "Everything went really well, our waitress was trained for up-scale dining and it showed. We got the only table that wasn't in the main dining room with huge windows overlooking the sunset, but it was still lovely."

  • "I found it more noisy than the week before a d was not crazy for my meal this time"

  • "All of the flavor was covered with a very spicy taste- I LOVE spicy food but didn't enjoy a simple taco because all I tasted was the spice that was used. Ate only one - probably wouldn't return."

  • "If one in your party orders the price fixed menu the entire table must order it too! Unheard of... That a 4 course meal and not everyone can eat that much good! The server, manager and chef would not concede this issue. I've eaten at 5 star restaurants that allowed patrons to order from both menus. What the heck, the entree ordered plus drinks cost more than the price fixed menu. This policy must be rethought or PRINT IT ON THE MENU so you don't waste time selecting your meal,"

  • "The service was excellent. The guacamole was outstanding. We had a pitcher of sangria. It was good, but could have used a little more fruit and could have been just a tad sweater. The chips were good and the accompanying dipping sauces were good as well. We ordered tacos for dinner; the Asada and the Pollo. Both were marinated very well and cooked to perfection. The Pollo was much better. The Asada was too spicy and was not listed as being hot. Despite that, it had good flavor. The rice and beans were average, the beans needed a little more flavor. We ordered the salted caramel tres leche cake for dessert which was good. The cappuccino was very good. Our view was phenomenal! We would go back to try other main dishes."

  • "This is the second time we have eaten at this location in Atlantic City and both times the food was wonderful. Great views of the ocean and great sangria make for an enjoyable evening. This trip we had our two grandchildren 7 and 4 and although they do not have a children's menu they had several items for them to pick from. They enjoyed the tortilla chips and guacamole. We also had our daughter in law with us who had a gluten allergy and they have a very nice gluten free menu. We all had a great time and enjoyed our dinner very much. By the way the guacamole was awesome also!!!!"

  • "Excellence from a surprising place. Hard to imagine the faithful execution of somebody's grandmother-from-Oaxaca's mole recipe at a large, NY-based Mexican chain, but there it was, hidden as one of the sauces in the chicken enchilada (this one a mole poblano). Dos Caminos should release this sauce from its menu prison and let it shine as a main attraction. To be fair, not all of the food offerings were as pleasing. The ceviche pairing (tuna and snapper) was stunningly skimpy on its portion -- less than a taste of each at a NY-style menu price. Overall, though, the Harrah's-basd restaurant (talk about dated surroundings) delivered a similar culinary experience to its Manhattan older sibling with a smaller parking bill."
