We expect the food to be excellent but what we find that is different is how comfortable we feel while we are there. We feel at home and very relaxed. Kind of like we are part of the family! A new salad has been added to the menu, a slightly grilled romaine heart with bacon & pretzel croutons which is absolutely off the charts. Very simple but a wonderful addition to their already great salad selections. So, the stakes were high. Turned out that we made a wise choice!
Our appetizers and entrees were excellent and beautifully presented. The wine list offered a good selection at reasonable prices. However, the highlight of the evening was the service. Michael was helpful, attentive and very accommodating of the leisurely pace we requested for the evening. Best of all, when we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, he presented us with a beautiful dessert (compliments of the house). He then took our picture, which was enclosed in a lovely card for posterity.
