The food is excellent and finished with a flair in the dining room. Service is impeccable with more servers and wait staff than you'd expect. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive. I gave my waiter a 20% tip. Fresh roses were placed on every table. The entire staff was very friendly. The food was very good. The vegetables were obviously prepared fresh.
The Bad
The outside of the restaurant needs a makeover. The interior décor is in serious need of a refresh. The men's rest room did have an electric hand dryer or paper towels.
The Ugly
The food is way overpriced. Anything you check on a restaurant's menu and the prices are unavailable, beware. The biggest overall negative with Donatello is the price. The appetizers, entrées and desserts are way overpriced. You don't get what you pay for. The food is excellent, the service is superb and the ambiance is warm and romantic. We are appreciate the owner's attention to detail. They never leave you wanting for anything. You really should check out the piano bar as well. It is a nice size room with beautiful dark wood and the music is always fun and lively. We will be back as often as we can. The modern design, low light and fresh roses on each table provided a romantic ambiance which allowed love to blossom in the air.
The owner led us to our table and as soon as were seated, the waiter was there eager to take our order. The wait time to receive our food was just right, allowing us to take-in our surroundings and enjoy each other's company. The food was prepared tableside and served hot and fresh. The taste was second to none and well worth the price.

The service, the wine and the food were great, and all 7 in our party had a wonderful time.
