Great place for a business dinner as well as a romantic experience for two. Quiet, elegant as well as warm. This is the classiest Italian restaurant I have been to. Not really a good place for kids or loud parties. Upper scale service and dressy attire. Business casual would be fine. There was 6 in our party and not one person was not verry happy with the meal and experience.
Good wine list, but not great. He used to say that Dominic's on the Hill was not only the best Italian restaurant in the U.S. but the best Italian restaurant in the world. Living out of state I had never had the pleasure of eating here until recently, and I was not disappointed. The neighborhood is a treasure, the staff top notch, and the food is wonderful. A truly classy establishment does everything to make you feel welcome and taken care of, and Dominic's does this in a way you do not see as often as you should these days.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMAs always Dominic's is a greatAs always Dominic's is a great spot for that special night or a wonderful business dinner. Dominic himself always stops by to visit us at the table. His genuine warmth and charm are second to none. We try to get there for dinner once every two months, but decided that once a month is our new goal. That may not be enough. Keep up the great work! Carpaccio and canneloni would be highly recommended. Did not like the creme brulee. Maybe the Italian version is different than what I have had before, but it was runny and cold.
