  • "We had a wonderful night celebrating the birthday of our eldest daughter who requested steak. We were seated promptly and our server, Jeff was excellent throughout our meal. The meal was perfectly prepared for all of us (7 in the party) and timely. We were all quite satisfied but couldn't pass up the dessert. Ambience including their music is vey nice. Overall, great."

TVs blasting March maddness games, it was so noisy through out the entire restaurant that we were unable to carry on a conversation. My husband and I split the Colorado Lamb Chops and they were delicious and cooked to perfection. We couldn't ask for a better meal and a fun heaving. I highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "Hosted a birthday dinner for my husband with a good friend flying in to surprise him. They came up with the idea, to set the slightly table less one .A delayed plane could have ruined the surprise, our waiter, Brian masterfully kept the pace slow with double cocktails. He brought salads but held the dinner order. He was surprised, the dinner was amazing. The steaks at Dominick's are seasoned with something that borders on heaven, the fish had an amazing crumb finish and tasted divine... and fresh, The salads were large enough to share and were dressed to perfection, one of the best Caesar we've ever tasted. We finished with a beautiful enormous cake wedge that satisfied everyone's craving to end on a sweet note. Simply the best in town."

  • "Dominic's pushes the food limit. The waiter said nobody leaves without bags of leftovers. Too bad. Chef works hard to create the dinner. Appetizers very nice but no time to rest as entrees were at table as appetizers were removed. I only ate half my veal porterhouse and wife half scallops. We ordered three sides. Waiter should have told it was way too much food for two. Delicious but most of our dinners were brought home only to be re-heated unlike I'm sure the chef wanted it prepared and enjoyed. For the same money,"

  • "After talking about having dinner here for over a year, we finally did. We were celebrating an anniversary, so we asked to be seated upstairs. It really was beautiful and we couldn't have been happier. The service was outstanding, but no annoying hovering. They have live music downstairs, and while they were very good and the music was totally appropriate, it is just a little loud if you're looking to carry on a conversation. We both ordered steak....medium well. I know...who orders steak medium well, right? We do. We don't like it cooked to shoe leather, but certainly can;t go with red. Well my fillet was great, unfortunately his was cooked well. he managed. It was. Not as good as City Hall, but totally worth another try."

  • "My boyfriend and I love trying new restaurants. Dominick's came highly recommended, as I wanted a steakhouse, to treat him to dinner. He thoroughly enjoyed his steak - in his words, "It was amazing!" We shared the loaded mash potatoes and they were okay - a little too thin, I like thicker mashed potatoes. I ordered the scallops and wasn't happy. The lemon butter sauce they were served in was great, but the scallops themselves, were bland. I just expected more. The bread basket was fantastic. The service was fantastic. Everyone was polite and very knowledgeable. And the live music added a lovely tough. I've heard so many good things about Dominick's, that I have to give them another chance. So, I will be returning."

There was not a desire or question that they could not answer immediately. The shrimp appetizer was not great, overcooked shrimp. The rest of the meal was OUTSTANDING with IMPECCABLE SERVICE."

From the courteous and caring staff who went out of their way to make sure I got the right table in the back to share a romantic Birthday dinner with my fiance'. THANK YOU . . . they delivered! The cocktails, Martini's to be specific - perfectly chilled, generous and delivered promptly. We shared a couple of seafood appetizers that set the stage for a memorable meal and the beginning of a wonderful evening. Ok . . . so they forgot to bring my fiance' a birthday desert like I asked - it happens. And we're glad that our evening at Dominick's happened as well. They did not disappoint and this is a restaurant experience that should not be missed."

  • "We were treating our friends to dinner and chose Dominick's based on several suggestions from others. From start to finish our service was great, everything and more you would/should expect at a nice steakhouse. The server was very knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered appetizers, salads, main courses, four side dishes and dessert, needless to say we had a taste of it all and everything was delicious. Three of the four of us got the Bone-In Filet and everyone could not stop raving about the flavor. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was to die for and since I'm a potato girl we had to get the Au Gratin and again- DELICIOUS. You HAVE to save room for the Butter Cake for dessert. Highly recommended, while prices are high- you get what you pay for."

  • "Dominick's never fails to remind me why I keep coming back for the best steaks in Scottsdale. Dined upstairs poolside where it's a little more quiet. The flavor of the bone-in cuts set this restaurant apart from others, with wonderful seasoning that combines with the juices to almost form a sauce on the hot plate as you eat. Sides are simple and solid. Save room for the butter cake."

  • "Despite having a 6:30 reservation and a fairly empty restaurant, we were initially seated in an "annex", not in any of the three main dining areas. When we questioned the hostess about the location, we were told that if we chose to be seated in the main area, we would be relegated to the "back". We chose the latter and found that our table was among those populated against a wall in their mezzanine. The remainder of the floor had at least 15 empty tables; apparently reserved for frequent patrons. All menu items were very expensive, with entrees starting at $40. Sides averaged $10 - $15 for a simple potato. At $55, the porterhouse steak was excellent; however, not quite adequate to overcome the initial unwelcoming attitude of staff."

  • "I have eaten at other locations before, so I knew what to expect. Food was good (try the crunchy spicy calamari!) I was disappointed in the service since it took 10-12 minutes to even get a menu! Everything took a LONG time. The only redeeming factor was that the singer and piano player in the bar were FANTASTIC, so the slow service meant that I got to enjoy them longer."

  • "In general my husband and I do not eat much red meat but every 3 months or so we crave a really good steak and there is no other place for us but Dominick's . We order the biggest steaks and enjoy them at the restaurant and then we bring home the rest which I add to homemade soup."

  • "The venue is very nice .. Ordered a bottle of wine that was recommended by the our server .. The wine was NOT good but they would not take it back and replace it so we had to order another bottle .. paid for both! .. Server mentioned that the owners were in the restaurant that evening. We (8 of us dining) indicated that it would be nice to meet the owners .. They never showed up. Steaks were good, Seafood tower, too much seemed frozen and you dont serve lobster without bringing tools to crack it open. Bread was not refilled. The bar area is nice but drinks were expensive. I would go back but would appreciate some improvements"

  • "Made reservations at Dom's to celebrate a family event. Three of us and we are fans of a good steak. Gathered a 8:15 as planned and we're seated just off the main dining area where you can view the bar. To the point...it's too loud to enjoy a dining experience. Make no mistake, the food is good (and should be for 50 dollar chops) and surroundings are great for a chop house, but the noise is overwhelming as you try to have a dinner conversation. A mix between a disco and old Chicago chop house. Not the first time to dine here but not likely going to try again. Good steak and wine if you just want a place to tune out."

  • "I found the restaurant to have a nice atmosphere but the music was a little loud to make it romantic , but the pool seating and roof being open was lovely. The food was good but terribly over priced! The side portions are big but for two people to share too much they should offer a smaller portion. No one is taking food home from a nice restaurant like that so was a total waste of food. Overall not in a hurry to go back"

  • "We four went to Dominick's on New Year's Eve. Each had a different entrée but mine was so great I had it this time too (rack of lamb) $50 a la carte of course. We were shocked when they brought our entrees in no more than 5 minutes. Joe's filet and my rack! The lamb had been pre-cooked long ago or so it seemed and tough/burned. His steak was okay. Potatoes au gratin were horrible and nothing was anything like our previous experience there. We asked the waiter to see to the potatoes and they brought another dish (reluctantly) and it was almost as bad. We won't be returning for quite a long time. We'll go back to Morton's when we feel like steaks or lamb and potatoes! This experience ruined our entire evening. Too bad for both us!"

  • "When dining at a establishment such as this, you expect at least one of the menu items to come out cooked perfectly....the steak. It was not to be during my most recent visit to Dominicks. The bone-in ribeye that was ordered medium-rare sat on my plate cooked medium-well. The wait staff were hypervigiliant, immediately noted my concern, whisked away the overcooked piece of meat and returned a while later with a steak cooked as ordered. But the overall dining experience had already been bruised."
