The five of us had a variety of different dishes - soup, risotto, fish, hunt of the day, scallops, cheese platter etc . All were well prepared and very tasty. We also enjoyed a very good wine from their large selection. The service was attentive but unobtrusive and professional. Despite staying until quite late we never felt rushed or pressed to leave. An appetizer of beef bone marrow, with the bone, arugula, and seasoned baguette. Spectacular! Chased with French sparkling rose.
I had a pork shank, lovingly cooked for 4 hours, 'falling off the bone' doesn't do it justice. With a melange of hearty mushrooms and asparagus risotto. My wife had a rack of venison that she couldn't stop raving about.
Using the 'Vino App', we chose a perfectly-matched Cali syrah.
Sumptuous desserts, including a s-s-erious bread pudding with great dessert wines topped off the meal.
This is a chef and a restaurant at the peak of their powers. As friendly and professional a wait staff as you can find.

Moreover, because they allow you to buy individual glasses of wine in amounts as small as 1.5 oz, you can pair a tasting of wine to each course without having to second-guess your ability to drive home. The papardelle was especially excellent. I took my mom to celebrate her 65th birthday. When making the reservations on Open Table I expressed this & was hoping they would mention something to her but didn't.
