We were promptly seated with reservations at 7PM and left the restaurant at 8:40, having had an appetizer and entree - no dessert or coffee. So, about 40 minutes before the appetizer was delivered, then 30 minutes before the entree was delivered. Seemed a little on the long side especially since the entree was not piping hot (nor cold). The food and service is always above expectations and the staff is knowledgeable about the wines and the food preparations. Service was excellent. Menu included something for everyone in the group. Appetizers were scrumptious! Two party members enjoyed the lobster Mac and cheese and two others enjoyed the heirloom salad served with a choice of cheeses. Fish entrees were fresh and cooked to perfection. I had the Dips appetizer, Seared Scallops & apple cobbler, all of which were wonderful! My husband had lobster Mac & cheese appetizer, beef Wellington & choc mousse, & he says they were all excellent. The only criticism we have was for the crying baby in our section, the second time this has happened to us in two recent visits to this restaurant. This is not a typical family restaurant. It is fairly expensive. Thus, we rated ambiance only good. Choices were great,offering a great variety. We had a window seat at street level. The restaurant itself is very unique, giving one the feel of being on a ship from the 18th or 19th century. I had a mahi mahi dish cajun style (you can choose how you'd like your fish prepared - great choices), and my husband had the bracciole - both were fabulous. Our waitress was attentive and checked back frequently to be sure we were happy with our food. We enjoyed the ambiance of this restaurant, but unfortunately, we had a loud group of 8 right next to us - when they arrived (about midway through our meal)it became nearly impossible for us to have a conversation.
