Dolphin RestaurantOne of my favorite restaurants...IOne of my favorite restaurants...I am a continous customer....6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst of hopefully many timesThis was my first time at Dolphin after having wanting to try it after quite some time. The food blew me away. The crab nachos & shrimp ceviche appetizers were awesome. I would recommend the branzino (fish of the day), the broiled lobster, the bouillabaise, the potato crusted salmon, and the broiled shrimp scampi any day. Every single person in my dinner party loved their dish. There was, however, a slight problem with the rice sides (undercooked) for 3 of our dinner party but that was readily fixed and the restaurant was extremely apologetic. Service was fantastic. It ranks among the best service I have received at restaurants ever.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMWe ate at this restaurantWe ate at this restaurant on a very rainy evening, so have no idea what is surrounding the restaurant but heard they have outside dining and are on the Hudson. The evening was very quiet in the area due to the weather. The food was excellent and our waitress was outstanding. We had a great evening and would recommend it to other diners. Thank goodness for valet parking.

Thought twice about taking my father there for his 70th birthday. Dolphin totally redeemed themselves. The Food and Services was as good as the first time I went.

For anyone who enjoys Tuna. The Tuna Nicoise Salad was delicious. The pan seard Tuna was done to perfection. My husband enjoyed his pesto chicken. Had this with a tasty Bloody Mary. A perfect brunch. Wasabi Tuna entree was superb as was the Chilean Sea Bass and the portions were just right. The wine list has good variety in both selection and price.

The selection for restaurant week was extensive and the portions were generous. Unfortunately it was a fog filled snowy day so we couldnt take advantage of the lovely Hudson River view. We will definitely return once the weather gets warmer. Juicy not dry & the sauce was amazing.The short rib ravioli was to die for.Shredded short rib meat, peas & mushroom in a brown gravey-great!The toasted almond tiramisu dessert was like a grown up good humor toasted almond bar only a 1000x better.I had it with the homemade sambuka that was so good I bought a bottle.Being the winter,the view was obstructed but during the warm weather, the outside tables are perfect for watching the sunset.
