Dolce Novita is one of my favorite restaurants in NJ. The food, service and ambience is excellent. I know I can't go wrong in whatever I order. My friends love eating there, too.
If there was any constructive critiscism, it was our entree where the fish and chicken were hot, but the vegetables and pasta were cold. If we hadn't had the appetizers and soup, I would have sent the cold food back One of the veteran waiters asked how the food was. When I told him about the cold vegetables, his attitude was indifference. If he didn't want feedback, he should not have asked. Our server who took our order, apologized when he heard about the cold sides.

Two of us ordered the pork loin which was very tough. Dessert ( rice pudding ) was watery. I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while and I remembered the food to be better. Perhaps it was just an off night
