  • "Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. Recommend ordering a nice variety of dishes and sharing. The pastas are exquisite, do not miss the meatballs or Carpaccio appetizers. The Caprese salad of heirlooms and fresh slightly heated mozzarella is incredible. We also had the veal Milanese which was outstanding. They even have gluten free pasta ad am option. Service was outstanding. Our waiter Ennio was.great. Can't recommend Dolce enough! "

  • "Concierge at The Ritz recommended this place which was only a block away. Wonderful patio seating and although Collins Ave. is right outside, enough vegetation acting as a screen provides enough privacy that you look out more than people looking in. Warm mozzarella on the Caprese salad was to die for but the tomatoes could have been better (had better ones at Ritz the night before). Lamb Ragu and Veal Milanese were both wonderful and dressing on salad that came with veal was light but with enough zing."

  • "In the middle of it all in south beach food was amazing! We had the pork belly appetizer and grilled octopus appetizer then split the spaghetti and meatball. Plenty of food. Excellent service and price was surprisingly reasonable."

  • "Rare find in Miami....a perfect combination of food, service, ambiance and location, location, location"

  • "Despite the short time of existence, the Dolce Italian has everything to keep on for a long time. The atmosphere is very nice, the dishes were very well prepared and tasty and the wine list offered options for all tastes and spending. For sure I will come back sometimes"

  • "Drinks were perfect. Shared the apps: Caprese salad, grilled octopus on a bed of lentils, meatballs with polenta. Eggplant and spinach sides, Veal milanese (huge portion) and fish. All good."

  • "Great food and a very extensive wine list. The service was outstanding, as was the hostess who greeted us. The place is beautiful, the lighting perfect, and the food delicious."

  • "Lots of Italian choices in South Beach - this one rises to the top for food quality and value. We were greeted and seated promptly at an outside table (Tuesday night - weekends you'll wait unless you're an early bird/night owl). Solid italian menu with a broad selection and price range. We did the foodie thing, but the gang next to us was happy with their brick oven pizzas. Pasta was fresh and cooked perfectly. Sauce (or 'gravy' as we say here) also vibrant - oh and the antipasto was also a strong performer. Wine list is good - 'by-the-glass' has some solids on it - but like any SB eatery, you'll pay for it- just a get a bottle, sit back, and enjoy the parade along Collins Ave. NWG"

  • "This was the second time we had dinner here and we loved it this time just as much as the first time we were here. The food and service were great! The wine list is way over priced, but that is the norm for South Beach."

  • "I have been to Dolce twice and have really enjoyed each visit. I highly recommend this restaurant for its tasty food, choice of spirits, friendly attitude and cool/comfortable decor. You won't be disappointed."

  • "Food menu has some of the usual fare you would expect to see and others that are very creative. The scallop dish wrapped in speck is incredible as well as the baccala and pork belly apps. Pizzas come to the table perfectly cooked and still bubbling. The wine list has something for everyone. Its creatively put together. Make sure you save room for dessert and have the budino or panna cotta. Cant wait to try again!"

  • "I have been to Dolce several times and the food and service Remain top notch. Our friends from out of town loved it! We shared appetizers, the meatballs, octopus and Calamari and they were all delicious. Our entrees were just as tasty and while the portions are not huge, they are adequate and leave you very satisfied. The panna cotta was delectable!"

  • "It was my fiorst visit as many have reaved about how wonderful it is and I have to agree. However rich the portions are I thought that the portions were rather small on some dishes for the price."

  • "I went Dolce on a girl's trip to Miami. My expectations of this restaurant were met and went beyond. Hands down the best mozzarella I have ever eaten. The food is delicious and worth the price. I can't wait to go back"

  • "Great food, service was great, our waiter really took his time going over the entire menu, he knew it inside and out, ...he was an awesome waiter!"

  • "A nondescript exterior leads to a warm and interior with a second level dining room that is very comfortable. Our server, Camillo, was knowledgeable if somewhat inexperienced. Appetizers of salad and Fritto Misto were well prepared and very good. Main courses of Eggplant and Short Rib Ravioli were both excellent. Service was good and the atmosphere very comfortable until a large, boisterous group was seated nearby. The manage noticed and moved them to a back location away from other diners. Most appreciated. Nice ambiance, good food, attentive service, what more can you ask for?"

  • "Walked into the Gale lobby which is the downstairs area of the restaurant. Great vibe - lots of energy. We were escorted upstairs to the dining room. Intimate smaller space - perfect for good conversation. Server was genuine and helpful. The wine list is varied with prices that are well under other SoBe restaurants. We started with a Charcuterie Platter of smoked meats and fresh mozzarella -DIVINE. There was so much on the platter we shared a pasta of Short Rib Ravioli -YUMMY. My only suggestion is that the server should have split the entree among two plates, without my having to ask. That is really the only off thing about the restaurant. Great Gem in SoBe. Can't wait to go back"

  • "The food was great! The wine list was poor. We enjoyed it but it was nothing special although my pasta was amazing the rest of my party didn't agree as much."

  • "Great traditional Italian restaurant on South Beach. Way better food than most of the places down here that are mostly selling location. Great service, and the food was good. I tend to have very high standards for food, so I gave it a four, but will come back when in the area."

  • "The servers kept bringing us food that were for other tables - 3 different times. 1 server was very attentive, but the service needs some work."

  • "This was the second time eating at this restaurant . I can tell you that vibe of therestaraunt was visibly different from the moment we arrived. It was 7:30 and not another soul inside restaraunt, outside there might have been 4 tables of other diners. Our server was friendly and attentive ! The food was not memorable as it was the first time we dined. I asked if there were new owners, they said different chef, they need to step up the food quality again . From the empty tables , I would hope they would look back to what made them successful in the beginning ! It's a shame to waste a beautiful restaurant !"

  • "One of the best meals I have had in Miami. Our waiter was adorable the food perfection, absolutely no complaints. The squid appetizer shouldn't b missed. We loved it so much we ordered another one. My branzino was cooked to perfection. My husbands veal was melt in your mouth tender and the deserts were great. We loved the cookies with carmel, but the cannoli was a greater hit. Almost has a french flair to it, not your typical cannoli. Can't wait to go again"

  • "Our visit this past weekend at Dolce was an unexpected positive experience since dining in most South Beach restaurants can be disappointing. The food was excellent and the service adequate considering the place was packed. Everything from appetizers to entrees was delicious. I will definitely go back again."

  • "We were really looking forward to this restaurant. The acoustics are bad, many groups in house very hard to talk to your dinner partner. Menu is not eventful, pizza and pasta dishes. Nothing memorable to report. Waiter was helpful . Regent cocktail club in back of restaurant had great decor and good drinks. Overcrowded with one cocktail server."

  • "My second time and quite a different experience. The Memorial holiday left the place peaceful and relaxing on a Friday night. Service was attentive and sincere and we truly enjoyed the evening. Beet salad was great as was trufulata (?) pizza and excellent Wine by the glass."

  • "Great Italian food. Loved the Mozzarella Caprese - maybe one of the best in town. The short rib ravioli were perfect. Service was spotty on this busy Saturday night . Parking required Valet around the corner on James Ave. The Valet sign said $20 - they charged me $30 plus tip. Great food but the parking ruined an otherwise great meal."

  • "Excellent food. Located in newly remodeled Gale Hotel. Great bar scene.I was greeted immediately by "Nick" at the bar & enjoyed a glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc served fast. Once seated for dinner I enjoyed the Caprese Salad, which might be the best I have had to date. The tomatoes were small but full of flavor. The fresh buffalo mozzarella could not be described in words. You could eat it as a main dish - amazing. The short rib ravioli and Cesar salad filled me up quick. My guests had eggplant lasagna, carpaccio, Shrimp & Scallop with Vegetables. Everyone was more than please with the food. The service at dinner was very spotty, but certainly not the worst. It was a busy Saturday night. A good restaurant that I will enjoy again."
