My first visit to Doc’s was a nice experience. We sat on the patio which was a fine setting to enjoy the cheese plate and champagne cocktail—this was a perfect union of salty, sweet and bubbly. The waitress was very attentive and did a good job in getting the small details right. Shrimp and grits were ok and the jambalaya was full of meat but a little high in sodium. Nonetheless we had a great time and would recommend it for sure.

I ordered the filet mignon and my date ordered the shrimp and grits. The filet was excellent accompanied with mashed potatoes and green beans. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the grits were flavorful. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. Great place to go on a date.

Food was excellent and so was service, though they were short-staffed. One problem: When we got there, a couple had seated themselves at our reserved table. The waitress got them to move after a few minutes, but then another couple walked in and sat next to us without waiting for the hostess. The waitress noticed them after they'd been sitting for a bit, and took their order, then gave them free glasses of wine "for their wait." That was a little insulting, since we waited longer than they did, and we played by the rules (waited for the hostess to seat us). Guess barging in rudely pays off sometimes! If you're gonna give away something to someone else for "waiting," you should probably not let other patrons who waited longer see you do it.

This was our best meal in Tulsa. The food was prepared perfectly and everything tasted wonderful. We had two small plates which really weren't all that small. Portion sizes were pretty large and more than enough food. The shrimp and grits were well flavored, grits creamy and delicious. The calamari was fresh and the sauce with the peaches was surprising. Scallops were cooked perfectly and really nice. Service was excellent and a great little spot.

The food was excellent. The space was a little small in certain areas. Reservations are a must due to the size. The spot is a site you must try.

We had reservations for 5 at 7 pm on Saturday. We were seated in a very room booth along with chairs. Perfect seating. Appetizers were shrimp cocktail that was beautiful large shrimp, charbroiled oysters that we should have ordered 3 more of - they were incredible, Arugula salad did lack somewhat, but the gumbo rocked. One friend ordered a burger and raved about it - looked delicious. And one friend ordered calamari and said it was wonderful. Definitely one of my favorite spots for appetizers, cocktails and overall ambience. It was a little to warm to sit on the patio but that's definitely a preferred spot at Doc's. Cocktails and beer recommendations were spot on. 5 star almost on everything.

Doc's is a favorite among our family and friends. The food is always very good and the keep it seasonal and exciting. The Moules Frites, the oysters and the tenderloin nachos are a must. They keep interesting beer on tap and in the bottle, wines are good and price friendly and the cocktails ROCK! The patio is wonderful so comfortable and a great place to gather and relax.

This was our second time to eat at Doc's. The food was wonderful...how can you go wrong with bacon butter on a filet! Our service on the other hand was very disappointing. We waited for at least 30 minutes between finishing our appetizer and receiving our entrees. We were about to leave when our waiter finally brought us our food. Also, I wasn't crazy about setting right next to the hostess stand.

A beautiful spring night in Tulsa and we ate outside on the back patio. I had mussels and frites and my husband had the chicken with risotta. Both were quite good. Highly recommend this little place!
