The outside of the building is a bit run down but inside is very nice.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is the best restaurantThis is the best restaurant in the Northwest!!! You have got to try it. Its amazing!!!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFinally, a restaurant to savor! The food was incredible! We don't eat out often because we cook better quality dinners at home than most restaurants serve here in Olympia. This gem of a restaurant is now our one exception. All three entrees were superb - elk, filet mignon and scallops. Our dinner was a real treat and it was a joy to experience food prepared so well.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was amazing. OurEverything was amazing. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine list and showed my girlfriend special attention for her birthday. Will recommend and come again.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMWe just discovered The DocksideWe just discovered The Dockside Bistro, and we were delighted with the food, service and ambiance.

The service is efficient and friendly and the restaurant has a lovely ambiance with views of sunset over the marina.
It's highly recommended as a venue for a special romantic dinner.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of Olympia's bestVery nice restaurant, located on the waterfront and top notch food and service. We'll definitely be back.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGourmet Dining with AmbienceWe chose Dockside Bistro for our Anniversary dinner. Hadn't been in a number of years and was pleasantly surprised to see how upscale it's become. Dark painted walls with vibrant abstract art paintings. Fresh flowers and orchids. For large groups, there's a very nice separate room with banquet sized tables, nice ambience, too. Main dining area pleasant, quiet. Our food was quite satisfying and nicely plated. We loved the toasted potato crisps served with the salad and warm bread with seasoned olive oil. Pistachio crusted halibut with pesto gnocchi was perfect. Key Lime Pie for dessert was quite good, but we had just returned from Key West, Florida where we tried several pies and we were still savoring the memory! Will recommend Dockside.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Restaurant ChoiceWe were here for a girls lunch and really enjoyed it. The server was knowledgable and gave us excellent recommendations on menu and the wine. The lunch menu wasn't large but the food was very good. The service was excellent and they didn't seem to mind that we lingered over dessert, wine and conversation. This was the perfect cozy restaurant for a long lunch on a rainy day; however, we will be returning on a sunny one.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went the appetizer routeWe went the appetizer route because so many
