  • "Food flavors very good to excellent. Pasta dishes and pizza very tasty, but pasty dish portions on small side. Appetizers very good. Service okay--probably dependent on server, who seemed disinterested and didn't check back after main course brought to table. Very noisy, and tables very close together. Easier to hear person at next table, than wife across the table. Subsequently not an intimate place. Drinks also on the small side."

  • "Went to this restaurant because exec chef Scott Conant is always real picky about Italian food in his judging role on chopped so I had to try his...and it is incredible. Ambience was negligable because it was late on a Tuesday night...service was reasonable, nothing incredible but nothing to fault either...food was to die for, being a chef myself and of Italian heritage I must say I went with limited expectations and was blown away."

  • "The restaurant inside Cosmopolitan. Very new place. Good size portion. Good for before party "

  • "We booked on open table. In the notes we stated that this was a "birthday destination dinner". We arrived & were seated immediately. We walked in & loved the place. We were seated, then someone came by with menus & water. About 8 mins later we were provided bread. It took another 6 mins before our order (both food & drinks) was taken. We felt like we had been seated in a section that wasn't assigned. Finally our order was taken. We waited less than 7 mins for our food but our drinks hadn't even arrived - those arrived shortly after our first bite. We were ready to leave & asked for the check. It was brought quickly, we paid and left. No mention was ever made of our birthday celebration - no happy birthday, thanks for choosing us..."

  • "The food was good but not memorable. For appetizers we had the octopus and the crispy prok belly, both were very good. For dinner my wife had the cavatelli, it was very good. I had two more appetizers for my dinner, the calamari and the beef carpaccio. Neither were notable. The only fun thing with regard to the calamari was the crispy herbs that were with it. D. O. C. G. Is a very Ively spot and we definitely like that type of atmosphere."

  • "We ate here our 1st night in the hotel for a light meal late on our travel day. We came back for a celebratory meal on our last night. The bone marrow appetizer was awesome. There was an odd red beet and oxtail mound on the plate which tasted good. The carpaccio had an aioli which I found too rich and my wife liked as is. The grilled octopus paired with chickpeas, but it worked well. We tried both lamb T bone which was delightful, albeit a little undercooked and the veal chop, with an absolutely extraordinary reduction. We tried 4 desserts: an afogato, mascarpone cheesecake (creamy, mild and light), Tartuffo with a blueberry compote (not huckleberry as advertised) and a salted caramel boudino which was decadent."

  • "Food was expertly prepared and delicious. Only suggestion is allowing more flexibility with substitutions etc, ie pasta in place of polenta, or adding grilled chicken to fettuccini dish even if up charge..."

  • "Clean, uncluttered, and quiet. Excellent food and a very nice wine selection. A very impressive bar also. Ate the early in the evening and the quiet was wonderful, quite the contrast to the noise just outside. Comfortable with an attentive staff and very tasty food."

  • "I tried fried olives (bland, needed a dipping sauce). I also had calamari (pretty good, somewhat oily, the sauce was mediocre-needed more acid and parmasan). Some of the bread in the small basket was crusty-good, the two pieces of softer bread was like dinner rolls from the store."

  • "For an obscenely overpriced restaurant, the food was "eh." The four of us got the octopus salad (excellent), beef carpaccio (excellent), and grilled eggplant (very good) as appetizers. Dinner included a salad, which was fine, roast chicken that was very disappointing and only partially eaten, as well as their version of gnocchi, which was also half-eaten. With drinks, etc., the bill was almost $400 (with tax and tip), which is absurd for the very poor entree quality. None of us will be going back."

  • "I'm a big fan of Scott Conant and have been to Scarpetta a few times so I thought I'd check out this new place. I really liked it a lot. The food was great and so was the service !"

  • "Absolutely excellent food served by elephants with blindfolds. Unattentive dismissive server yawning while taking order. The wrong food brought to our table with no explantation or apology. Slow kitchen. After an hour of mishaps I brought this all to the attention of the manager Marc Davis. He was excellent. A master of damage control. He had the correct food to us in five minutes. Comped all the drinks and desserts. The evening ended on a much higher note thanks to him. If you decided to give this place a try you will enjoy the food, but I suggest you stay on top of the server and call the manager if you see any elephants."

  • "This is the second time for us to go here. We love the spaghetti with meatballs and the pasta with duck and truffle sauce. We also tried the pancetta wrapped prawns which were excellent."

  • "Love Scott on chopped but laugh when he gives people a hard time on how they cook pasta. Now I get it, because I had the BEST PASTA EVER at his restaurant. I got the Pici that is braised in a duck sauce. People who don't even like duck tried it and were over the moon. Wish I could get the recipe. So Scott is vindicated on how to cook pasta. Worth the visit."

  • "Service very slow and the the waiter apologized for being slow without provocation early on (he used a large party he was serving as excuse). However, he continued to be slow. We got bread very late and did not get dipping oil, though it was on every other patrons table. We asked for dipping oil and never received it. I ordered cocktail and wife ordered wine and was hoping to drink them while waiting for the food and order more w/ dinner but they came out just minutes prior to our dinner coming out. Food was GREAT! We got two desserts and they brought out one wrong dessert and one right dessert. Sent it back and quickly fixed; though not changed on our bill (equal price though). Couple next to us had worse service and they left NO TIP."

  • "My wife and I were looking forward to a nice dinner in Vegas but were horribly disappointed in DOCG. While the food itself was excellent the service was the worst ever! 15 minutes for waiter to arrive only saying "What can I get you?" without a welcome or acknowledgment. Realizing that we should take advantage of the opportunity we ordered our glasses of wine (see below) and food. Our food arrived at our table in about 4 minutes and before the wine! (Only came after we inquired). After dinner we sat at an empty table for 20 minutes before I went to find the waiter and get check. Other tables in same position. Wine list only notable because it is so pricy - cheapest Cali cabernet for $170! Doesn't fit with $25 pasta entrees."

  • "This is Scott Conant's casual eatery located next to Scarpetta, his fine dining spot inside the fabulous Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas - 3rd floor, to the right. We had fabulous food -- starting off with beef carpaccio, this cheese egg thing with crusty grilled bread, the duck pasta with truffles (pici), and brocolini. And it all arrived super super fast -- we got served in minutes! Great server - from Louisiana I think. We were literally in and out of the restaurant in 30 minutes. Very attentive wait staff. Very cozy interior - felt like an Italian hot spot where hipsters mobsters and families would all hang out for some good hearty pizza and pasta. Good stuff. I would spruce up the exterior ambiance though -- some trees or something..."

  • "My wife and I rarely go out, so the choice of DOCG was a great choice. We had been there before, but it had been a few years. The food was excellent, as I had the cavatelli sausage pasta and my wife had the Colorado lamb, which she just loved. Both were excellent dishes. The service was great and prompt. Yet, the noise level was excessive, which I guess is appropriate given the the location at the Cosmopolitan and the people who generally eat at those restaurants constantly."

  • "I went with a business group for dinner, and really enjoyed the food. The braised short rib was fantastic. The pasta dishes were small but well prepared. The service was attentive, but not necessarily super friendly. I would go back again and would like to try Conant's other restaurant in the Cosmopolitan. Go check it out!"

  • "We chose this place because we were on our 4th day traveling for business, running out of excuses to expense $400 dinners. The tables are very close together so you feel like you're sitting with people you don't know. The menu is very limited but the food was fantastic. I had the Cavatelli and the Caesar Kale Salad. Both were excellent. Service was friendly and quick too."

  • "My husband and I had dinner here for our anniversary. We chose this location because we were going to Marquee after. Everything was excellent from the ease of parking, finding the restaurant to the service and the food. The portions were big enough for us to share. We started with the two meat/two cheese plate had an excellent red wine, then shared the fillet ( which was cooked perfectly) the asparagus and the roasted mushrooms. We can't wait to go again!"

  • "Let me first say, what impeccable service. Our water glasses were never empty. The waiter was great at making suggestions for us. The wine list; HUGE. To start out, we had a meat and cheese tray - do not pass this up, it was amazing! Our party had the Diver Scallops; they were delicious and perfectly done. We also had the Roasted Chicken; which was a tad on the dry side, but very flavorful. And we had the spaghetti, which was very hearty. We also had the Salted Caramel Budino, which is about the best dessert I've ever tasted. My ony suggestion would be for the restaurant to add a few more sound deadening panels somewhere as it was VERY noisy in the restaurant; we could hardly talk to each other."

  • "I really enjoyed spending a Saturday night dinner here and I came with a party of six people. Unfortunately our table was not ready when we sat, but we got drinks at the bar. The menu was small and to the point which I liked but when our plates were cleared they didn't even ask if we wanted anything wrapped. Was a fun night but nothing glamorous, however I would recommend the hand cut pastas!"

  • "before going to D.O.C.G. Enoteca, we asked ourselves how much better could Chef Conant's fresh pasta be? Our answer was better than we could ever imagine pasta was delicious beyond comprehension and the beef carpacio was amazing, the best we have even eaten a truly magnificent experience thank you Chef Conant"

  • "This is one of the go to spots for Vegas. Food is always consistently good. On this visit, service was top notch. Beverages were always filled. Call backs to check on how we were doing after every course was certainly appreciated. We always have the pancetta wrapped prawns and this time tried the chicken liver bruschetta. Outstanding! Entrees were the shrimp & lobster arrabiata and lamb shanks. Pasta was superb! The salted caramel boudin- sooooo good. Overall an outstanding meal."

  • "Made a reservation for my company's CEO as a spot for an impromptu business meeting. Feedback was less than glowing. Despite low restaurat traffic, the service was unapologetically slow and the food was average. Tough strikes to overcome, and generally reflective of Cosmo's limited mid-range dining options."

  • "Seeing critical Chef Conant on Chopped I was expecting a great meal. I was let down. My wife and I were in the center of the room on a tiny table. I could pick from table next to us.Glasses, plates, etc. Then bread olive oil and wine list. I was balancing the wine list on my lap to eat a piece of cold bread. The dishes we ate -. Prawn app delish. Arancini app not good. Scallop Large plate good but 3 scallops isn't my idea of a large plate. Caramel budino delish and Tartufo choc ice cream in a candy shell meh. The real tragedy was the pizza. I am a NY'er Italian and a cook. If I made a pizza at home like this I would have thrown it out and started again. Limp crust no sauce no taste Any NY pizza is better including the Hut. Bill $150"

  • "DOCG was really an unbelievable meal. All of the food exceeded our expectations, especially the dessert. You have to try the budino dessert. We also loved the grilled eggplant appetizer. The only thing that was disappointing was the cheese and meat board which was very tiny. Also, the wine list is SUPER expensive. But, all in all, a great meal in Vegas at a hot spot."

  • "Went to DOCG to celebrate my birthday and engagement with my fiance. Were in and out of the restaurant in about 45 minutes, in what felt like one of the more rushed dining experiences I've ever had. Fortunately the food was tasty and wine list expansive, although slightly over-priced. Would recommend management allowing the servers to slow down the pace of the meal in the future, especially given the high quality of surrounding restaurants in Vegas."

  • "We felt the pasta tasted like something out of a Chef Boyardee can and Hamburger Helper. I didn't rate this the lowest score as the wine list and quality was superb as well as my wife's filet."
