D.O.C.G. Enoteca by Scott ConantOmgFood was wonderful
Service great
15 dollars for a glass of chianti was too much
Drove cost to over 120 dollars for two
For fabulous pasta salad shared and salmon
No coffee no desert
For a $$ rated place to eat
Loved the cosmopolitan hotel6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was awesome and wouldFood was awesome and would recommend this to everyone!6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMBelongs at the CosmopolitanMy favorite hotel in Vegas is the Cosmopolitan because of its refined opulence, high energy and attention to detail. Against this backdrop, DOCG Enoteca fits right in. Excellent food (I highly recommend the arachini appetizer and the pasta with black truffle and duck sauce), and a classy/casual, high-energy environment. Only knock I suppose is the absence of any mid-priced bottles of wine ($60-$80), but I suppose that's par for the course in a high-end Vegas hotel, and they offer good mid-priced wines by the glass. If you're looking for a creative, classy and tasty Italian, give this place a go.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is an Italian gem inThis is an Italian gem in the new Cosmopolitan Hotel on the Vegas strip. Scott Conant has a winner with the food, wine selection and location. The food was fantastic and not just the run of the mill Italian. Fantastic selections of regional Italian cuisine and hand made pasta. The deserts alone would be worth a late night trip with some desert wine or port. While the noise level can get a little high, if you want a quieter experience, dine on the outside of the restaurant in the indoor courtyard. You won't go wrong with this selection.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMLives up to Conant's reputationThis is a casual bar/restaurant spot that opens into a busy public space; it can be a little noisy. Wine list is interesting but pricey. Menu is Italian with nice variety including pizza. Great selection of cheeses and cured meats for appetizers. An entree of scallops and another of pappardelle with mushroom ragout were outstanding. Staff were amiable and attentive without being annoying. You won't regret saving room for desert.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMI will come backThe savory food was delicious, the cocktails well executed, the service is good and friendly overall.
The docg pizza is a must try, ask for burrata cheese (they have it).
I was not impressed by the tiramisu, but I will give the restaurant and another dessert another go for sure.
Overall a really good experience.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMHe had me at duck sauceOn perfectly crafted pasta? Yes, please! Great atmosphere. Awesome service. I'll be back the next time I'm in Vegas.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMBest pizza dough I've ever had.The specialty of this restaurant is their pizza dough. It is soft without being doughy and I have never tasted anything like it and I will forever be Dissapointed with every other pizza I have. Not only was the crust beautiful but the toppings of mushrooms and truffle oil were divine. My wife had the scallops which were cooked perfectly and delicous as well. Also should note the balsamic given to dip your bread in was not your generic store brand. It was full of robust flavors and truly delicous in itself. Restaurant has an upscale casual feel with upbeat music playing. Will definently be back.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service and foodWe wanted a modest priced meal in Vegas. Received that, plus service was extremely prompt and pizza / salad was delicious. Would definitely go back.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMMarty our waiter was greatMarty our waiter was great at describing all of the dishes. My hubby & I had 2 different pastas & both were very good. Reasonably priced & would definitely return5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect after-show dinnerWe had dinner at DOCG after a show and were very impressed with the food. Even though it was late-night, the restaurant still had a good crowd and we didn't feel rushed by our server. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for really good food without a lot of pretense.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst Time DinersWe chose this restaurant because it was on Open Table. When we entered it was very slow, but became busy and full quickly after. We enjoyed some appetizers (fried calamari, fried artichokes) and a few main dishes (scallops and pasta with mushrooms). The food was very nicely prepared and enjoyable. The staff was a little rushed and not as attentive as would have been preferred, but we will definitely go back.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMReasonably priced gem at CosmoStumbled on this place back in April for NAB when we couldn't get into Scarpetta. Same chef, less view. No big deal, everything we had was delicious. Came back this past weekend and as before, everything was stellar. Great service from our waiter Cassidy too both times. Will probably return every Vegas trip. The Salted Caramel Budino is life changing.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMA Slice of HeavenGreat food, wine and service. The Octopus Salad was excellent and the signature caramel desert was fantastic.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was excellent andThe food was excellent and so was the service. Cassidy, our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu and his customer service was superb!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMD.o.c.g. Can accommodate variousD.o.c.g. Can accommodate various food allergies. Very tasty. Fun atmosphere.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was great, service was meh...Food was great and atmosphere was really cool. Drinks were strong. Noise level was out of control. Couldn't hear each other from across the table and we had to almost yell so our waiter could hear us. Service was just meh. It was very fast but the waiter was not really informative about the menu and didn't have anything to say about the restaurant or the food. I asked what was the "pizza to get" and he just said well what do you like and that was the end of it. Was expecting more I guess based on the level of restaurants we usually go to. Overall food was great, service could have been a lot better.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWe couldn't wait to try Scott'sWe couldn't wait to try Scott's place. The food was outstanding of course. The wait staff, unfortunately was not exceptional as we it was very slow. We waited a lot of time and the waiter hardly gave us any time. There is a lot of noise in this place and you can barely hear your dinner partner. We think the noise is bouncing off the brick walls and making it hard to hear. If this went away and the wait staff was more attentive, we would have given it 5 stars.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my second time eatingThis was my second time eating at DOCG Enteca. It's one of two restaurants that Scott Conant (a judge on Chopped) has. DOCG Enteca has good quality rustic Italian dishes. The service both times I have gone has been exceptional. The wine list is quite good. And the food is great. The entrées are moderately priced for LV.
This visit was our first night in Vegas. Our original reservation turned out to be too early for us, and the staff was very courteous in allowing us to move the reservation to a later time. It is easy for a staff to look good when everything goes right. But when you ask extra, and they shine, that is the true mark. And DOCG definitely shined for our group that night. It was a simple request, but it was a Friday night.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMgood food, rushed serviceFood was good. The atmosphere was pretty casual. We felt a little rushed. The total time we spent in the restaurant with sitting, ordering, eating and paying was close to 45 minutes. Prices were high for what it was. We ate at Scarpetta a few months ago. I prefer Scarpetta.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the caramal brudino!!!Love the caramal brudino!!! NEVER TAKE IT OFF THE mENuE!!!!!!!!!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMPrice point was a little high,Price point was a little high, but ths is Vegas, after all....4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMA relaxing spot on a hectic casinoGreat pasta dishes and appetizers. The service during our visit was outstanding with a very knowledgeable staff, the sommelier was helpful and friendly with no attitude. I had the Cavatelli and it was perfect with a freshly made al-dente pasta. Wines are expensive but what isn't in the Strip. Atmosphere was calm and easy to talk in.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMHad been here before but itHad been here before but it seemed much more expensive this time--especially the wine list--not much under $100 which is too much for a typical night out--not a special occasion.
Also a bit drafty and cool but then that was true of Cosmopolitan in general.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMVery great service!! PlusVery great service!! Plus they were able to get me an autographed cookbook from Scott Conant which I greatly appreciated.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place to grab a casualGreat place to grab a casual bite in Vegas. If you think you have tried good beet salad before then you have to try this version. The roasted beets are served warm and topped with burrata cheese which perfectly compliments the beets. It is finished with micro greens and a tangy pistachio vinaigrette. Don't miss it! Also, you must try the duck and truffle pasta. It is so good that you won't want to share it. A truly soulful dish.
Wine list is interesting but a bit expensive. What can you expect in Vegas though?4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat cocktails, good food,Great cocktails, good food, very cool scene. It was a bit too loud to carry on a quiet conversation, and the service was a bit slow due to the busy-ness that evening, but we were trying to get to a show, so that opinion may be colored. This is definitely not a place to go for a bargain, but it feels like it's worth the splurge.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent, very noisey.Food was excellent, very noisey. Wines over priced.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulousDelicious, authentic rustic Italian food. Exceptional wine list (but expensive). Salted caramel budino for dessert was legendary. Highly recommend!4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's a great restaurant withIt's a great restaurant with great food. My only complaint: we were a large party and they sat us near the front, which sort of felt like eating in a food court at a mall; but I will say, the food is amazing. The wine list is a little pricey, so be mindful of your choices. We had a great time and I would certainly return if ever back in Las Vegas. Plus, the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino is a really FUN place!4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding food and serviceWent here with my two two daughters for a meal when visiting Vegas. The waiter was excellent and the food outstanding.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was a busy Saturday nightIt was a busy Saturday night in Vegas. The reservations helped. The braised short ribs melted in my mouth. Service was attentive and polite. There was an extensive wine list. Overall good experience.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service and food!Great food, unpretentious and comfy ambiance. Very attentive service.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMStarted with appetizer, theyStarted with appetizer, they were fantastic! Being from NYC we are very spoiled with Italian food, especialy pizza. We had the Pizza for our main dish and we were not disappointed except for the sause. The sauce was a little flat and tastless. Food was moderately priced and the wine was way overpriced per bottle so we settle for 2 glasses of Chianti. overall it was very good3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing food - must try!!We loved the food so much, we came back 2 days later. The grilled octopus was perfectly tender & had just the right amount of acidity. The pasta in the mushroom ragu is the freshest I've ever had & my husband devoured the ribeye. We finished with the salted caramel budino - you MUST try it! The waiter said it won best dessert in Vegas 2 years in a row, and it was easy to see why. On our 2nd visit, we shared the mushroom pizza, which honestly was so delicious, it shouldn't be called pizza. They used a mushroom puree and truffle oil that just elevated it to a whole other level. We finished with the budino again & it was just as amazing. The service was a little slow both times, but who cares when the food is so ridiculous.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a nice place. The serverWhat a nice place. The server was both attentive and friendly, something you come to expect when fine dining in Vegas, and in particular the Cosmopolitan. The food is very good quality, and we would have no hesitation eating here again next time we are in town.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and good serviceGreat food and good service made it a memorable experience.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and exemplary service!Great food and exemplary service! The pasta was perfect.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat MenuOverall it was a good choice for dinner. Had an arugula salad and sirloin. The food was good but writing this review three days later it took me a minute to recall what I had for dinner. That said, it didn't really stand out as something that just was so good I wouldn't forget what I had. Our server was very, very attentive and great at his job. The atmosphere is great as most of the restaurants are in the Cosmopolitan. Very energetic. The menu had a great selection of choices. If you are close to the Cosmopolitan, it's worth a try.3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFood overall very good. PortionsFood overall very good. Portions good for sharing. Had pizza with proscuitto--excellent. Wife thought it best she had ever had. Dessert as mentioned by others--chocolate with salty caramel fantastic. Service just right. Setting open and tables somewhat close, especially those for two, so we eneded up with interesting conversation to a couple next to us.1/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
