We were seated near an air conditioning vent and he made sure the temperature was adjusted to reduce the amount of cold air blowing onour table. He was attentive but not hovering. As always the appetizers were excellent and large in size. We tried the following oyster varieties: Chesapeake, James River, Watch House, Emerald Cove, Kumamoto, Golden Mantle and Naked Cowboy, which turned out to be a nice variety. In addition to the oysters, I had the Cobb Salad, which had a nice seafood sampling with it. I've been there only for lunch on weekdays, so I can't comment on brunch, happy hour, or dinner, but I will say that the restaurant could be great for lots of occasions, including lunch with a boss or coworker, drinks with friends, or even a date. My favorite thing about Doc Magrogan's is that it has lots of options for people who are gluten-free or have other health-related dietary restrictions. They are very accommodating.
