A West Chester institution is born! In the late 1800's and the 1900's, there were more than a dozen places to enjoy oysters in West Chester. As we developed our classic 1900's Oyster House, we strived to pay tribute & homage to the great tradition of enjoying little aphrodisiacs. We have spared… no expense to create an Oyster House that transforms you back to a simpler time of food, fun & merriment in a local oyster house. "We had an open table reservation for 4 at 6pm. Two additional friends joined us and when we arrived asked for a table for 6 instead of 4. Originally I had asked for a quiet table where we could talk or a table upstairs. We were told NO to adding two additional guests to our reservation. They said the only place we could sit was out back at the picnic tables, where they put all of us at a small table. We were cramped and asked the waitress who was very nice, if we could bring a smaller table over to give us more room. She immediately suggested a larger picnic table which was so much better. Now why couldn't the hostess have given us that table to begin with? Very embarrased in front of my guests by the way the hostess treated us."

"Great Oyster house. Kids loved their lobster rolls! We sat upstairs, which has an awesome vibe to it - away from the noise of downstairs, which was perfect since this was a family get-together. But both upstairs and downstairs are awesome. Can't wait to return."
