    The smaller event space has a 40 person seated dinner capacity and 50 person capacity for standing reception.

    The larger event space has a 50 person seated dinner capacity and 60 person for a standing reception.

    The adjacent spaces together have a 80 person seated dinner capacity and 100 person for a standing reception.

  • "Read raving reviews on this place and was woefully disappointed. We were seated immediately, just past the kitchen. It took over 10 minutes for our waiter to arrive. While we waited, we noted that it was very hard to have a conversation do the noise level. We also found the booths to be very uncomfortable. I had read so much about this place, I was hoping for a knock your socks off BBQ experience. What a let down! The shredded pork was a touch dry. The ribs were decent but we were not fans of the rub, tasted better with additional sauce. The brisket was excellent, moist and delicious! The Mac and Cheese was dry, a major fail! The bourbon list was stunning!"

Everyone in the party was pleased with their menu selection.( Salmon and cornbread stuffing with spinach was excellent!) The restaurant was the talk of the conference.!!! I believe some attendee's had more than one reservation , during the weekend!"

  • "I ordered Doc's sampler plate!!! What a meal!!! The brisket was AMAZING, the pulled pork was OUTSTANDING and the St.Louis ribs were EXCEPTIONAL!!! Not a bad bite in the whole meal. Really enjoyed the local beers also."

  • "We arrived at 4:45 for 5:00 reservations and were greeted with the announcement that they didn't open until 5pm and we could wait and form a line. It would have been great if they just welcomed us and asked if we had reservations, checked us in and let us know that they would start seating at 5pm. We were seated in the back of the restaurant with beautiful windows and high ceilings. However there were several families and larger parties and it was very loud. Our server was great. He was very knowledgable about the menu and had great timing. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes, Brisket, Catfish filet, Pork, and various sides. Everything was prepared well. Most items are very spicy. If you like spicy food, you will love it."

It was very difficult to carry on a conversation without having to out-yell the surrounding tables. Maybe not such a great first-date place, but a place I would regularly return to with friends."

  • "Dined here June 2013 /lunch - quite tasty. Food was hot, ambiance was nice, & the noise level right for an active restaurant/rawbar. Tonight was different. I reserved a table & arrived early and was seated early. It took time to get water & things straightened, but the water was warm. I like "ice water" - as the meal wore on the water got colder. Ordered the sampler to try more of what the place offered. Once my order was taken it arrived sooner than expected, within a few minutes. However, it was warm... almost cool. The fries were actually slightly warm, but the meats were all either cool or just very slightly warm. I don't expect BBQ to heat my face off, but I do expect it to be at least above room temp. It was like the water."

  • "We ate dinner at Doc Crow's prior to attending a play and the Kentucky Center for the Arts. The food was excellent. We each had an entree (ribs & pork chops), shared a dessert (chocolate cookies a la mode) and tasted a few of the bourbons from the outstanding whiskey selection. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The manager came by as well to check on things and was very gracious. We enjoyed our experience very much."

  • "My friend and I had dinner at Doc Crow's Southern Smokehouse and Raw Bar before Cher's show at the KFC Yum Center, and we had a wonderful experience. We were greeted warmly and seated very promptly. Our server (I'm so sorry I don't recall his name, because he was awesome!) was helpful and attentive, but not pushy. He gave us excellent recommendations for drinks, entrees and dessert. The Ginger Diver was excellent. I had the St. Louis ribs, which were so tender they just fell away from the bone. My friend got the blackened filet of tilapia and raved about that, too. We treated ourselves to the Key Lime pie, and I don't think we left a single crumb. We will most definitely be back! "

  • "We made an online reservation, and received a phone call early in day verifying after having had email confirmation. Were seated within 5 minutes of arriving, service was very good. Catfish was very good and probably the best hush puppies I have ever had, the okra was excellent and the little garnish container with green beans, carrots, and cabbage was a real treat. The gumbo was fairly lame and the onion rings were so so. Overall a very pleasant experience and will return."

She suggested our appeitizer, crab cakes, which was delicious and our side dish the Mac and Cheese which was better than Mom's. Our Brisket dinners were amazing, melted in your mouth brisket and the beer list was great. Will be back to try the Lima Beans which Lesley also recommended."

  • "Too loud, mediocre service (waiter didn't check back often enough, didn't ask if we wanted another cocktail, wasn't very attentive, did what he was supposed to and not one thing more) food tasted great (my baked potato wasn't fresh and I wasn't given enough butter...waiter didn't come back until potato was totally cold; the other sides were delicious: slaw, greens, Mac n cheese), very good cocktails. For the price I expected much more attentive service and better ambience. We had to scream to talk and the waitstaff seemed to not understand the flow of traffic, kept zooming this way and that with no rhyme or reason. Delicious bread pudding. "

  • "After months of reading and hearing about the restaurant I was finally able to experience it first hand. I was not disappointed. The food was amazing. I was celebrating my birthday with my family and we all enjoyed the Heapin Chips. In fact I wished the next day I could swing by and pick up an order. Other recommendations from myself and family were: Shrimp Po Boy, Fried Catfish, Mac N Cheese and Tilapia. We are hoping to return soon so that we can try other dishes. "

  • "Another fantastic dining experience at Doc Crow's! Really enjoyed the friendliness of the bartender, she made my wife a yummy drink and explained everything on the menu to the T- beef brisket tacos app at the bar were amazing!!! My wife and I split a full rack of ribs and got some additional sides, loved how baby backs were just falling off the bone to the touch and my wife tried grits for the first time ever- loved them. Our table became available before the slotted time, they even sent me a text notifying us our table was ready."

  • "Our entrees were well prepared and flavorful. Portion size was large. Restaurant's air conditioning was working, maybe a little too much. Restaurant, when full can be noisy. The only food complaint was the homemade chips. Although they were freshly and properly fried, they were WAY over seasoned. I love blackening seasoning but there was far too much on the chips. About a third as much would be better. All in all this is a good restaurant serving southern and BBQ classics in a comfortable , upscale setting. "

  • "Mixed feelings about the restaurant. Most of the entrees were fine. However my husband ordered brisket and it was very fatty, plus it came on a piece of bread and nothing else, surely they could include some small side dish. This menu item definitely needs to be plated differently. I don't really like paying those prices to eat off brown paper and a cookie sheet. Bloody Mary's were not good either. They appeared to be watered down, no flavor, except extremely hot. Oysters on the half shell were very small for $3.00 a piece. However, we will probably eat here again now that we know what not to order. Other entrees were very good."

  • "I tried a couple of pricey bourbon (cheaper was better), and got the barbecue sampler. The brisket was a little fatty and both the St Louis and the baby back ribs were a little dry compared with other world class ribs in Kansas City and other local joints. We tried adding house sauce... but even more spice there. So, order some bland sides as counter weights to the barbeque spiciness and you'll be fine. We ordered a shrimp cocktail appetizer - but our food came before the appetizer, and even before our drinks, so we felt rushed. We'll go back, but we'll know better how to coach the staff next time."
