My husband and I dined her with another couple on a Saturday evening. The venue is small, but there is a lovely outdoor patio. We dined inside, but the patio is off the back of the restaurant and adjacent to the parking lot which offers FREE PARKING. Inside decor is urban and dark. It was a little loud which made conversation tough. The food was yummy! We all enjoyed our entrees -- I had enchiladas, as did my husband. My biggest complaint is about service. My food arrive well before my margarita. In fact, I had to ask 3 TIMES before it finally made my way to the table. By the time it arrived, I was half finished with my dinner. IMO, the restaurant should have offered to comp the drink but did not.

I had been here twice before for dinner and really liked the place and the food. I expected to love it again upon return - especially because this place is in a super convenient location across the street from me. But this time, not so much! We went right after they opened, while it was still light outside. The light revealed that the restaurant was super dirty! The floors were filthy, even though they had just opened, and my boyfriend's drinking glass was dirty. It made me question the cleanliness of everything else. My boyfriend's meal (pork chops) were disappointing and his mashed potatoes were really dry. My food was ok but I just got a salad. Service was nice enough, but we decided mid-meal that we won't be going back. Bummer!

When we moved to Logan Square D'Noche the very first place we tried for brunch. Since then it has been our go to spot for any meal. Their back patio is wonderful and the food never fails to satisfy! The owner and staff are always welcoming and helpful to our friends who might be new to the restaurant and menu. It's a hidden gem.

Love the food, good prices, but seriously love the food. Waitress nice but frequently need to repeat& clarify desires. Is this due to noise? Possible, because my main complaint is that dnoche is so very loud. Ill go back over & over for the food, though. Black bean & hissy cheese quesadillas are simple but somehow amazing. Chiles relanos, veggie burrito, tamales all great. Wish it were a smidge quieter but still will keep going back. Make a reso on Fri/Sat; busy.

Group of 5 of us decided to go out for Cinco de Mayo. This was one of the few restaurants near us that had an opening for 7pm... we've never heard of it but decided to go anyways. None of us had ever had such amazing Latin food in our lives. I got the spicy steak, 2 got the chimichurri steak, another enchiladas and the last got fish tacos. Every single one of us said we've never had a better dish. And we all tried each others to validate those statements... and we all agreed. And the molletes appetizer, to die for. Hands down, amazing meal. Adorable inside. Could not have been more perfect! (and it would be a cute date night too.)

The food and drink was extremely good, but that's unfortunately where praise ends. The venue is very small, but the staff seemed unorganized and chaotic the entire time we were there. Our server went far too long between checking in which resulted in waiting a long time to order and getting a new drink. The restaurant was busy with large parties the night I visited and the noise level was extremely high in a small room. There were some moments when I couldn't hear what my date was saying from across the table.

D'Noche was lively and enjoyable. We had the most delicious goat cheese quesadilla I've ever experienced. My chilles relanos was tastey and the Michelada was amazing and spicy. My boyfriend enjoyed his burrito but did not note anything exceptional about that (which was a-ok, he knew what he was getting and liked it)! Glad I made reservations as there would have been a bit of a wait had we not (Friday night and all). Wouldn't necessarily recommend for large groups unless you make a reservation, it's a bit tight so waiting with a bigger group would have been a challenge. Was perfect for our group of three and I also would have been comfortable at a table for four. There was a mix of families & young folks; a real Logan Square gem!

Oh goodness I was craving a jibarito sandwich for sometime and heard I'd find one hear. Well, sadly it was so bland! I invited two gf 's who love Latin food and after looking over the menu, they too were excited. One order the ropa vieja, her exact words "I've never tasted BBQ sauce in a dish like this?!" I tasted it and it was very sweet-odd! The other gal ordered bistec (thin steak w/onion). We all agreed it was tough! The rice/beans we're ok at best. Will not return and am STILL craving a jibarito sandwich!

We dined at D'Noche on a Wednesday night with a party of 7. It was $5 margarita night! ¡Qué bueno! Great on the rocks and frozen. The guac starter was fresh and a big portion. Everyone tried something different and across the board - all great! I had the ropa vieja and it was great! So juicy and flavorful. Our server and busser were great. There was a good crowd there, groups, small tables, dates. It was a great night and I would certainly go back!

My wife and I really enjoyed our D'Noche experience. It was surprisingly easy to change our reservation time from 7 to 7:30 and the staff couldn't have been nicer about it. The restaurant truly is beautiful and the ambience made us feel we were really in a hot spot. We were celebrating valentine's day and it was romantically dark and candlelit at our table for two. The food... oh boy! Superb. We had a couple of delicious appetizers then skirt steak and talapia tacos. The food came fast and hot. But not too fast so we couldn't enjoy our appetizers. The staff wasn't pushy at all for us to order the entrees. She was polite and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and very good sized portions. We left absolutely stuffed.

D' Noche was a great experience because upon arrival I was greeted and taken to my sit and didn't have to wait which is something I hate. My girlfriend and I were taken care of very quickly and the customer service was phenomenal. They were very professional but also very humorous. The food was great, cook just like we like it and didn't wait too long to get the food because it was very busy. We were always checked up on and asked if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family. They made our Valentines day a day to remember for ever.

My wife and I ventured out of our regular Wicker Park hotspots to check out D'Noche and were pleasantly surprised. We had reservations and were immediately seated without having to wait. While the tables are very close to each other, it is loud enough where you can't easily hear the conversations around you unless you're eavesdropping. The food was tremendous and portion sizes were big! Service was a little slow but it was Valentine's Day and very crowded so we didn't hold that against them - plus we weren't in any hurry and were enjoying their huge Margaritas! I would definitely recommend D'Noche.

Went here on a date. The ambiance was very nice for a romantic outing. The food was very delicious, but left me kind of hungry. Looking around, it seems that the dishes vary widely in size, depending on what you order. The service was ok. Water glasses were filled and we weren't pestered too often, but our cocktails had run out for 10 minutes before they checked on us. Our main course also came out while we were in the middle of our appetizer. I really hate when restaurants do this. They should have timed that much better. Overall, it gave the feel that they were trying to rush as out the door to make room for the next customer.

I'm never disappointed when it comes to the food and drinks here! The pitcher of mojito we ordered was large and so worth the price! I hate when I order a "pitcher" of something and it's ice half way through and the pitcher is not really a full pitcher. What did upset us a bit is the awkward table they sat us at. The booth that runs along the wall stops about 3 feet from the fireplace (for obvious reasons). Well they decided to add a table right next to the fireplace and put a chair next to the end of the booth. It was so awkward and tight of a space I was tempted to ask to be reseated, but I hate being "that person." My advice, be that person because if not you're just irritated until the liquor sets in.

Went here oh a whim and was not disappointed. The drinks were good (margaritas, pisco sours) and the food delicious (ropa vieja, chiles rellenos). We had a bonus because there was live music on Saturday night and it was good -- not too loud but definitely enough to get the energy up. Lots of groups (some with kids) and couples - good place to get a pitcher of margarita and enjoy some great flavors.

had a group of 7, and had a table off to the side (on the cafe side), so that wasn't ideal. would've preferred to have been in the main room being able to watch the performers instead of just listening (they were great by the way). my food was really, really good, but a few in our party just said their's was ok. they got some steak and mixed vegetable dish, and i guess the steak was just ok. drinks were good, although, we all thought the drinks (margs and sangria) were light on the booze. but, the overall price for our meal seemed really cheap for the value, so we weren't complaining too much. i'd definitely go here again!

The food was fantastic though our particular server made the dining experience less than stellar. The manager and other waitress were pleasant and truly hustling while it took us hunting down our waitress to get our order in and then to get our check. The food was very good. We had the empanadas, jibarritos and maduros. The jibarros were not the best in Chicago but very good (both de bistec y de lechon)
