  • "The food here is always spot on! A culinary delight!"

  • "Took a chance at booking for 10 on Mother's Day. Turned out to be pleasantly delighted that it was not too crowded, service was great and food although not fancy...was just right for the time of day and the family in our party."

  • "We loved our dinner, the meal was excellent, and the service was attentive without being annoying. It was Saturday night so there was music which was good but a little loud if you were sitting close to it. If not for that I would have given all 5 stars. "

  • "We had a wonderful night with friends. Food was spectacular. Music was so entertaining yet did not disrupt conversation which is hard to do. "

  • "d'jeet was a pleasant, delightful surprise! We were looking for someplace new to eat and loved d'jeet. We'll definitely return!"

  • "Efficient, friendly service. Food was very good. Only complaint was that the entrees were a bit pricey for the portion sizes. My husband ordered one of the specials, a $35 or so seared scallop entree'. It only contained three SMALL, albeit delicious, scallops! Otherwise, we were pleased. Enjoyable guitarist/singer performed."

  • "Our 4th visit to D'JEET was another pleasant dining experience!! Farm fresh, high quality ingredients combined with an innovative chef's creations makes this a restaurant a definite must. Our server, Rachel, obviously very knowledgeable about all menu choices and preparation, made great suggestions. Fantastic desserts prepared by the onsite pastry chef. You won't be disappointed. There are new additions to the menu!!! Enjoy local musicians on Saturday night. We were lucky to catch Quincy Mumford and love when the Ragtime Relics play."

  • "We have been to D'jeet on sufficent occasions to be able to judge the consistency of performance. D'jeet has always offered quality food that is especially tasty. There is always something new on the menu and everything is worth ordering. servic continues to be attentive and caring. It would be hard to recommend something better in the area."

  • "Celebrated my parents' anniversary and we couldn't have found a better place for it. Although there were other tables seating around us it felt as if we were the only customers in the restaurant. Service was great and food was excellent. The salmon, gnocchi, and short ribs are excellent choices. All desserts were amazing!"

  • "Very dark, almost too dark too even read the menu. The menu is eclectic but not doesn't offer many choices. Prices are very high for what you get."

  • "We met some friends at D'Jeet last Saturday night, we'd never been and really didn't know what to expect. It was outstanding! The pasta with the lamb ragu was so good, I could've eaten two servings! The house salad was delicious, and so were the angus burgers. One of my friends had a chicken sandwich, also delicious! The ONLY downside is that it's so noisy, we couldn't hear our friends talk. They have live music too, which adds to the noise factor. If they had some way to absorb some of the noise, it would be PERFECT! We'll definitely be back!!!"

  • ".D'jeet is a must for its quality of food and the inventiveness of the chef. If any of you had been to "Sisters" in Spring Lake, you know what makes a restaurant great. D'jeet is right up there in its cuisine. The menu offers many choices and it is fair to say that everything we have tried is consistently excellent. For those of you who like jazz, Djeet has a great duo laying once a month. Wonderful music and terrific food without a cover charge. Best deal in NJ."

  • "Easy listening music on Saturday. A little pricey for the portions and type of dinning"

  • "The reason we went to Djeet was to hear some terrific music played by an energetic duo. It really sounded like a trio. Great musicians and great food. The menu offers a wide variety of choices but withh a talent for mediteranean food. Each item ordered was very tasty. Pizza with figs was wonderfu;l So was the butternut squash and apple soup, Djeet is very attuned to the requests from customers; it offers a sald instead of french fries as an accompanient to a very tasty salmon burger. The staff is especially friendly. you do not fel rushed and this allows you to enjoy the music over a leisurely cup of coffee. Definitely woth a visit."

  • "I always enjoy my meals at d'jeet. The food is fresh, and presented in an attractive way. The service is usually excellent. There have been lots of times I wanted to dine here, but, the line was too long."

  • "If you're in the area...go for it! Good little place, great food, & FYI it's BYO. The lady Manager is a little snooty, and not customer friendly, but doesn't change the overall experience."

  • "Great neighborhood bistro featuring locally sourced cuisine."

  • "We were there on a Friday night. The food was great. The live music was too loud, making the overall noise level unpleasant. I have been there for lunch which I enjoyed a great deal."

  • "D'jeet offers great ambiance with a tasty bite to go along. My friend recommended our monthly dinner date be here after our consistent sushi location. I am counting calories and I wanted something healthy. The menu was full of healthy choices! We got the cattalini bean hummus with an assortment of fresh vegetables and warm flat bread. Loved that I could substitute vegetables for the pita bread. Next I chose a sandwich on warm homemade baggette rich in whole grains with mozzarella roasted red peppers drizzled w EVOO. I ordered this without the meat again, to cut the calories. It tasted so fresh!! I felt like I was eating at somebody's house with homemade fresh ingredients"

  • "Simple food made with fresh ingredients. While simple, the flavors the chefs develop are but no means boring. Excellent food, great service! We have been there for lunch and dinner, and neither service has yet to disappoint. We will be back!"

  • "Our meals were tasty and interesting. For a small, casual restaurant in a shopping center, d'Jeet's food exceeds expectations. So do the prices of the entrees and specials. For lunch or dinner, menu is the same - around 5 each of appetizers, salads, individual pizzas, sandwiches and entrees plus a couple of specials. They have entertainment on Sat. evenings. The singer was good when we were there, but too loud for dinner conversation."

  • "A good place to go for lunch, fast service if you are in a hurry, the food is very good, would go again"

  • "Efficient service, delicious food, interesting ingredient combinations and appealing presentation. Added benefit was singer with acoustic guitar. Not overpowering. A nice evening!"

  • "First, we were seated directly in front of a singer and musician; too loud. After asking, we were moved two tables further away, but it was still too loud for a small place. It was also far too warm inside. Our perky blonde waitress (she never gave her name) was only that. The bread arrived a minute before the appetizers, after we asked, and when dinner arrived, three of us didn't have utensils, so we had to get her attention. My appetizer (mussels) and dinner (swordfish special) were quite good, though one of our friends didn't like the infused rice cake that came with the fish; and my wife thought her salmon dinner (on the menu) was dry and flavorless. For $130 including tip per couple and BYOB, it was not worth the money."

  • "Quality fresh local food. Loved the Joey sandwich. Would go back for Dinner or Lunch. Coffee was great. Very affordable. Service was friendly and prompt. They have entertainment on Saturday nights."

  • "Located in The Grove, an upscale open-air mall in Shrewsbury, NJ, d'jeet is a welcome option in the area's restaurant options. Offering an eclectic menu in a casual setting, "d'jeet" is comfortable and no stress. The menu is brief, with only four full-sized entrees, but there were a couple of specials. Not gourmet cooking, but serviceable and interesting. There are smaller plate options and pizza as well. There was live music the night we went, which we could have done without."

  • "Great salads, especially the calamari and the beet salad. Scallops with risotto was wonderful. Angus burger was maybe best I ever had. Enjoyed the live soloist who set a nice mood in this casual yet fine dining establishment."
