  • "Super nice - food is borderline 5 star. Small and a bit cramped but comes off cozy and initiate. Very classy place. Earns a right to be in Brentwood."

  • "Our favorite restaurant. Wonderful food, service and local owner. All courses were excellent. The salad choices were outstanding. The lobster pasta was delicious. The veal chop tasty and a generous portion. The owner, Goran is welcoming and is a great host. Can't wait until we visit again."

  • "I've been to Il Divino twice. I think it's probably good for business lunches because it's quiet. They serve very small portions, so if you're on a diet, this is the place to go. They do no provide refills for ice tea etc., which most places do...so that can increase your bill. Think they should reevaluate that practice."

  • "I highly recommend Divino. The food was great and Goran is an excellent host. Well priced wine list. Excellent seafood dishes."

  • "For the exorbitant price, the portions where very skimpy. Pasta was underdone, very doughy. However, the owner/chef apologized and "comped" one meal."

  • "Divino is a neighborhood icon. You can count on gracious hosting and excellent Italian food and service."

  • "Melt-in-your-mouth gnocchi and delicious tomato and meat sauces with just the right amount of sweetness. A wonderful meal, we look forward to returning!"

  • "Divino in Brentwood is a hidden gems that is a hit with the neighbor regulars. Since it is a bit out of the way for someone in Los Angeles, they are missing a fine restaurant with great food, excellent serving staff and a wonderful host, Goren Milic. We have been coming for years and my wife and I have never been disappointed with the service and food. We try to bring our friends the the restaurant because we know it will be a delightful evening for all of us with excellent food."

  • "The owner/manager had a sad look because the place had only two other parties at 730 dinner on a Tuesday night. He actually left. The waiter forgot to bring the glass of chianti that I had ordered and I had to remind him. Everyone seemed upset that the place was empty. My son ordered an appetizer and the veal chop. I ordered the calamari salad and veal medallions. The food arrived and the chop was cooked perfectly but the medallions were well done and tough. The porcini sauce on the veal was actually cold. It is expensive 150 for two and only one glass of wine no dessert or coffee but the service and the food was just average and the area is filled with really good Italian places. Something has gone wrong here."

  • "This restaurant was a comfortable neighborhood restaurant with friendly and good service. The food was not exceptional but certainly adequate Italian fare. As there are many other time restaurant with a better quality of food, I would really only recommend this is a solid neighborhood restaurant with friendly service."

  • "Always a favorite of ours for many years. Never disappoints, always pleases, just plain good on every level. "
    Dined on 5/31/2014
  • "The service was nothing to write home about (neither extremely positive or negative...they got the job done well), but the food was exquisite. The zucchini ravioli was phenomenal and a fantastic vegetarian option. "

  • "Brought my eighty year old parents here for dinner on the recommendation of a friend. He couldn't have been more right! Though the place was packed at 6:30 pm on a Saturday night, we were shown to our reserved table immediately by the owner and received first class treatment throughout the evening. The veal chop special was exquisite and the desert were the perfect ending to a memorable evening. Divino is a jewel in the village of Brentwood."

  • "It was a nice small neighborly restaurant. Sadly the pasta didn't taste very good and the lemoncello wasn't right. The proscutto appetizer was great."

  • "Very good food, almost all with meat or fish tho. Lackluster wine list. Friendly and attentive service. I think expensive relative to other options."

  • "We love this restaurant to pieces! The ambience is lively and romantic and intimate all rolled into one. An intoxicating blend of aroma coming from the open kitchen wafts through the restaurant tantalizing all of the restaurant's guests. The food is some of the very best in town in my opinion. And I'm tough to please, just ask my husband. The wait staff is totally there to please us. They are never in your face but somehow they are always there just when you need them. Their rigatoni with chicken Ragu is my all time favorite dish there. My husband loves their branzino."

  • "Great little spot to catch a bite. The Branzino is great and so is the Papardelle..."

  • "Quieter than I remembered this lovely little place has great service and good food. Prices have gone up since I was last there, but it is still worth it. I like seeing the same faces in the staff and they are doing a great job of making your visit comfortable and enjoyable."

  • "Great neighborhood restaurant with authentic Adriatic inspired Italian food. We enjoy the appetizers, soups, pizza, pasta and entrees. Great attentive service. Always consistent."

  • "Our first visit and we both tried the pasta, which was excellent. We had an early dinner reservation and glad that we did as service decreased once the crowds increased. The restaurant was about two thirds full when we left and we waited about 20 minutes to get our bill. Other than that, we didn't wait for anything. Dinner was served in a timely fashion, as was dessert. The ambiance was quite nice. Great dessert menu and I would go back just to try some other items on it."

  • "Delicious northern Italian in a warm, hospitable atmosphere."

  • "I have been to Divino's many times over the last ten years. Last week I went twice, once with a large group for dinner and we were accommodated upstairs. It was a perfect place to be able to talk with people and enjoy the food, which is always good. I especially like the burrata with bietole or the crostino with prosciutto as an antipasto, and the branzino. The desserts are exceptionally delicious. Goran Milic is a wonderful host and the waiters are all prompt, efficient, and polite. Highly recommended. I also like to go for lunch, when it is quieter."

  • "Ordered a pasta that was suppose to have Branzino and another fish as was the definition On the menu. There was not a single piece...zero. Pizza came and wasn't hot and was a bit bland as well. Bread used to be amazing now it was heavy and on the dry side. Not sure what happened there it used to be much better."

  • "We had a wonderful Italian lunch. Everything was perfect and it felt like real Italy. The chef served our main dishes himself. The food was so perfect, just delicious. The wine, amazing. Dessert, divine. We would have never left had we not had to go back to work!"

  • "My girlfriend and I absolutely love this place. The prosciutto appetizer and the lobster pasta are to die for. We have been here twice and have had amazing, personal experiences both times. The restaurant is small and the manager (or owner, not sure) is friendly and takes great pride in his wine recommendations. I could not more highly recommend this place. Our favorite spot in LA!"

  • "We went here for a birthday dinner, and although it was overall pleasant, I left feeling nonplussed. The ambience was lovely, but a bit crowded. The food was good but workman-like. Despite their being quite busy, the service was still good. I would go back if I was in the neighborhood, but I won't be going out of my way to return."

  • "The carpaccio was perfect - thin, tender slices of beef topped with young, sweet arugula & cheese. The flavor and texture were wonderful. The pappardelle with osso buco was al dente and the meat and sauce were flavorful. The service was impeccable - I would return again just to be reminded how good service should be. I just returned from three weeks in Italy and the meal at Divino was as good as anything I experienced. We were not rushed, it was quiet enough to have a conversation - we were happy, happy! Oh - I almost forgot the tomato soup with pesto that was served as an amuse bouche and the homemade, freshly baked bread. I can't wait to return."
