Ditka's RestaurantNever DisappointsWhenever we have guests in town or just want a wonderful meal, we head to Ditkas. They never disappoint! My favorite is Da Pork Chop. My guys love the Cowboy Shooters!! They also dive right into superb steaks! For lunch, we all go for the delicious Fish Tacos. Mike's Salad is delicious and a family favorite. This is the place for excellent food and superb service. Nice little gem located outside of the city.6/16/2013 12:00:00 AMVery pleased.I had eaten here once before a couple of years ago. Though I can't remember exactly why, I held the opinion that the food wasn't that good. Well my opinion has been refreshed and changed, this time it was perfect. From the appetizer thru the entrée the food was great tasting and well prepared. Our server Ron was attentive but not intrusive, polite and well informed on the menu and offered great suggestions, just what we needed. Though this isn't the kind of place you go weekly (perhaps for lunch?) this is a place that you'll find me going to much more often.

I've been to enough steak houses to know a great steak. It was a good steak. I expected great, so I was disappointed. Salads were universally enjoyed. Sides to the steaks were just good, again not great. The rest of the table felt similarly. Service was very high quality. Great wine selection.

I made a reservation and when we arrived we were immediately seated. I had prearranged to have flowers delivered with another company. The flowers never arrived during my time and arrived later on. The Manager Jeanne notified the florist they missed our delivery time and followed up with the florist to try to resolve. She also notified me that the flowers arrive after we had left which gave me the ability to get a redelivery at my home address. Above and beyond service. The people that served our table were very good and the food was excellent. Ditka's did not disappoint. Our waiter was friendly, professional, and provided us with outstanding as well as entertaining service and the food was exceptional. The plank steak special was second-to-none I've had in Pittsburgh. To be sure, the prices were high-end, but it was definitely worth it, and all members of our party were thoroughly satisfied. From the time we made a reservation to the time we left, the entire experience was great. The food was really fresh, and even my salad tasted better than anywhere else! I would recommend this restauarant above others because of the obvious care that the cooks and the wait staff display towards guests. I really felt like this was a seemless and enjoyable experience. All I had to do was enjoy myself. The service is TOP NOTCH! Cameron our server is one of the BEST at this establishment. Polite, efficient, personal and just wonderful. The only thing that I have ever gone wrong at this restaurant (and I dine here probably 6-8 times a month for business lunches and dinner w/my wife) is something that still troubles me. I annonymously sent over a $100 credit to a table to cover their desserts,coffee and after dinner drinks. When the table inquired who sent over the gesture the waiter looked at the receipt and said " Gary McLaughlin" and pointed to me. How embarrasing and I felt like I wasted the idea of being annonymous.
