"I read some reviews prior to dining there and my experience was the same. I thought the food was good (not great), but the service was so poor that it put a damper on the whole experience. Mistakes were made on the orders, placement on arrival and it took forever to get initial waters, drink orders, apps,etc. I won't be returning...just wasn't worth it."

"We love Distrito, the food is outstanding, we always keep on coming back, even my kids get excited when we take them, the sangria is really good and love the decoration, the details are very authentic."

"Went with such high hopes. The look is interesting I would call it cool on a budget. The food was unimpressive bland and lacking flavor.
The music was odd a very obvious attempt to "be cool" but it made no sense."

"A late lunch schedule found this place nearly empty, but service was excellent and attentive. Mahimahi tacos (two 4 inch specimens) were delicious though preciously petit and left me looking for the rest of the plate. Salad portions looked larger and a nearby burger was also more generously sized. I would have rated the food higher if the portions were not quite so dainty for the prices. Service was excellent and the drink menu interesting."

"First let me say the food was amazing and our server and bartender were both really friendly and very helpful. Don't skip the Guacamole or the Mahi Mahi Tacos, both were outstanding! I do however recommend walking to the restaurant if you would like to enjoy your evening. We arrived at the Suguaro Hotel where Distrito is located early. We knew that parking would be limited because of a concert at SCPA and a spring training game nearby. After waiting in the valet line for 15 minutes the attendant skipped over us and parked a car that had arrived after us. I took off to find a spot on my own and to my surprise I did. I was later told parking was for hotel guests only and had to leave in the middle of dinner to move my car."

"Small plates for sharing and kind of surprising. Ceviche? Think sashimi with luscious sauces. Street tacos - carnitas and deep-fried mahi. But the ribs were spectacular! Never mind that our way way too loud and officious waiter said there were 6 in a 1/2 order (4), hands down the best ribs I've had in years. Overall, the food was good but we most liked the quiet restaurant on a Monday."

"Food was excellent and plentiful, even with the small shared plates. Service was spotty but improved after talking with the restaurant manager. Food arrived before drinks even though they were ordered 15 minutes before the food! Not a place to go in you are in a hurry to get to a performance in the area, even when you allow two hours. I would definitely go again when not trying to get to a concert, the food is worth it."

"Great experience. Started with parking: We were greeted enthusiastically and after an exchange of pleasantries, were provided with a coupon good for a free guacamole appetizer. The hostess ensured we had excellent seating and settled before introducing us to our waiter. We could not have asked for better service:knowledge of menu/ingredients/chef's creds/etc. The service exceeded more expensive restaurants we frequent and contributed significantly to the overall dining experience. Distrito is a tapas venue which provides a variety of different tastes/flavors/sharing. All dishes we ordered were delicious: cheviche/smoked meats others. Food quantity/price makes this an excellent value. Tequila Connoisseur paradise. Partake and Enjoy!!"
