Distrito is the Mexican restaurant concept by Jose Garces, the chef behind the acclaimed Philadelphia restaurants Amada, Tinto, Chifa, Village Whiskey, Garces Trading Company & JG Domestic. Distrito is a high-energy restaurant inspired by the spirited culture and cuisine of Mexico City. The Distrito menu features Chef Garces’ fresh interpretations of classic Mexican fare and beverages including over 65 tequilas and margaritas made with fresh seasonal fruits. A striking decor includes a hot pink and bright green color scheme, a wall constructed from over 600 colorful, campy masks of lucha libre, or “free fight” professional wrestlers and a booth crafted from a Volkswagen Beetle, a typical Mexico City taxi cab. Please join us for the Cantina Happy Hour, Monday through Friday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on our first floor. Our brunch menu has changed! We now offer 2 options: a $20 prix fixe menu or a $10 "Kegs 'n Eggs" menu. Please inquire within for details.

With lively settings, impeccable service, and festive menus, Distrito is perfect for group dinners with friends, special occasions, corporate events, and holiday parties. Distrito is also a unique space for Bar & Bat Mitsvahs, weddings, and rehearsal dinners. Events can be booked throughout the restaurant and in our private dining room 7 days a week. Our private dining room can accommodate up to 40 guests for a seated dinner and up to 50 for a passed reception. As well, our Karaoke Lounge is the best kept secret west of the river and north of the border! Your group can even reserve an entire floor - upstairs can host upwards of 175 guests and downstairs, about 100. The entire restaurant can be reserved exclusively for approximately 300 people.
