Restaurant was completely empty. Many menu items were unavailable such as all salads, wings, calamari, jambalaya and a few others I can't remember. Our group was looking forward to dining here but after the extensive list of unavailable items from their already small menu, we had a drink and went else where.

I went to District at night for a few drinks and it wasn't that bad, so decided to try it out for lunch, and what a huge disappointment. No one greeted us at the door, had to exchange our dirty coffee mugs 3 times, then gave us soup spoons for our hot beverage. Could tell the place had not been cleaned from the night before, the ladies restrooms were disgusting, full garbage, lipstick smeared on counter, dirty toilet. Food was super average, music was way too loud for lunch, and we were the only customers, asked sever to turn music down, but she didn't. It was obvious that little to no effort was made to reno the place after new ownership. Was expecting more class. Why can't Red Deer have nice things?! :( 1

As I walked in the front door, which is a huge part of ones first impression of an establishment, two chefs/cooks were stepping out with cigarettes already hanging out of their mouths. Really??? Classy!!! That makes me want to order food ....??? I fully understand that a lot of kitchen staff and cooks perhaps do smoke, but not seeing it helps. Ambience was nice, but some of the decor didn't really match the feeling they're going for. Service was absolutely awesome. Food was average. Great looking menu and ideology, but perhaps not the right people making it a reality. I would definitely go back and try more menu items.

We stopped here for a Valentine's meal and discovered that the food was simply excellent. It had the best lobster I have ever had and the steak was juicy and awesome!

The calamari to start was fantastic, maybe the best we have had in Red Deer. Our steaks that followed (Peppercorn NY and Creole Sirloin) were done perfectly to medium rare. The shrimp with the Creole sirloin were large, and tasty. The only disappointment was having one item, pumpkin pie, available for dessert. There were lots of other interesting things on the menu (lamb burger etc) to try when we return.

We had no idea this was here! What a well kept secret! The food was above average for a lounge like this. The music was great, the bartenders were very knowledgeable. And they had some really cool martinis that I loved. My whole group of 8 had a great time. It wasn't super busy when we were there, but that's probably because nobody knows about this place. When word gets out I'm sure it will be a hotspot. Can't wait to go back I hear there is live music on weekends.

We arrived early for our reservation so we went into the lounge. The server was friendly and the appetizers were tasty. Then the night fell apart. We had an early reservation. When I went to check on it, they didn't know where they were going to put us. Keep in mind, we had been there for over an hour and watched as they did nothing. Then they decided to set up a table in the lounge for us, even though we told them we had an underage diner. The food was disappointing. Some dishes were very cold. Two of us had steak and although the taste was very good, the cut of steak was very tough. When we asked for a dessert menu, the comment was that we don't have a dessert menu. There are many nicer places in Red Deer with staff who care.

A wonderful night out with friends, date night with your significant other, girls night out, lunch, or all of the above! A warm and inviting atmosphere, and superb jazz on the night we were there. We shared calamari, wings, and a massive plate of nachos. Between watching the very talented bar tender wow us with his juggling skills, and dancing to the great band, it was a night out that we will definitely be repeating. Having tasted the evening menu, now I absolutely have to have lunch there...and dinner....and lunch again! I recommend using the open table app, easy as 1,2,3.

So nice to have a classy lounge that adults can go to and enjoy drinks or live music. The staff is friendly, food is very good, and the drinks are unique. I heard about it from a friend and have attended for lunch and also for an evening out, we are happy to have this type of venue in town. We plan to attend regularly, the R&B that they provide us unlike anything else in town. Good job!

This is a hot spot for late night drinks. We came with a few friends, it's pretty casual, food is good, prices are VERY reasonable we thought. Live music on the weekends is great, and lively. We were impressed, this place could very well become a favorite spot if ours for evening/late night drinks and appies. A very nice addition to Red Deers Downtown.

  • Finally a Great Martini Lounge

Finally a great martini lounge to come to red deer. This place has changed hands a few times, and it appears to be on the right track this time around. Although the decor etc wasnt quite finished (according to one of the managers) the food was great and the drinks were fresh, and tasty. It is worth noting that the prices here are very reasonable compared to other lounge/bars in town. We enjoyed the live music, and are excited to return. I think this place will really shine for late night evenings out with friends, for before or after dinner drinks. Really glad to have this option in Red Deer.
