We all tried something different and each dish was perfect, except maybe the dates. That must be an acquired taste. Food and drink here are from the US, often from local sources, well prepared and delicious. Our server was very friendly and did a great job, especially when we were trying to do a birthday dessert for my mom. He was very knowledgeable about the menu as well. I have only been to District for Happy Hour and really enjoyed the ambiance and food so wanted to try dinner. Buffet items were constantly replaced so everything was really fresh. Our waitress was attentive, never were left without drinks. There is a good variety of food including an omelette station, all meats entree and seafood (my favorite). Not an overly huge spread but just enough and the price is very good. A lot of fun and good desserts (the cotton candy was cute for Easter). Good location and I like the open and modern setting. I want to check out happy hour. Cannot say enough about our excellent experience from the wonderful attention from everyone on staff, to the quality of the food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Near the theater district with an awesome menu and prompt and super attentive service. Using local and organic foods, the chef prepared food that would make me return regularly if I were to live in Phoenix. We intend to return each time we visit!!! It is a bit pricey but the ambiance is nice, the service is solid, and the food is nicely prepared and pleasing to the eye as well. I got the tofu steak with succatash and creamed corn and LOVED it. Three colleagues got the scallops and said they were the best they've had in a while (good since scallops can easily be over/under cooked). They ended it with strawberry cotton candy, which was a nice touch but had an odd after taste. Our waitress, Chelsea was a gem. Overall,an exceptional experience.
