  • "Great for a Sunday brunch! It was my husband's birthday, so I wanted to celebrate it by having brunch. The food, the service, everything was perfect. On a scale from 1-10 (10 being the very best) I would give it an 11!!! The Bucket of Bubbles is genius! LOVE IT! The chicken and waffles was perfectly prepared with a crispy waffle and a lightly breaded chicken breast. My skillet with chorizo was lip smacked yummy. Our daughter ordered the yogurt parfait and a side of fries. The fries are probably on my top 3 list of the best fries ever!!! Leave room for dessert because you will mad that you didn't. We ordered one of each of the desserts and were so HAPPY we did. My husband's FAV was the Salted Caramel pudding!!!"

  • "The best part about brunch is the $10 bottles of champagne and you can pour your own juice so you don't have to worry about your mimosa bring too sweet. Food is just OK. Service is borderline terrible. We waited forever with empty drink glasses and our server was never anywhere to be found. With as many good brunch spots as there are in Dallas, I won't go back."

  • "We tried Dish for restaurant week and we were not disappointed. The appetizers were great and everyone loved their choices. The entrees were also great. The scallops were wonderful, perfectly prepared, and the poached egg on the couscous really appealed. Desserts were well received by our group. Our server, Randy, did a wonderful job, providing just the right amount of attention and anticipating any requests. We plan to return!"

  • "My first time at Dish and unfortunately I will never go back. Food was excellent, however the service was questionable. Interesting how the only black waiter was assigned to only to tables with black customers. They had him running all over the restaurant and because of that, our service was very slow.Essentially he was set up for failure and that is not fair to him or the customer. This restaurant needs new front of the house management immediately. I plan to tell all that I know to avoid Dish. The experience was not welcoming and was a turn-off. I will spend my money were the color of my skin makes no difference as to the server I am assigned and the service I receive."

  • "I forgot that it was Restaurant Week when I made the rez but we really loved our selections from the 3 course menu with the wine pairings that were offered. The scallops were excellent as were the short ribs. Dessert was fabulous too (I have a major sweet tooth) but the best was the salted caramel pudding. We'll definitely go back!"

  • "We ate here for Restaurant Week, and so chose the restaurant week menu. For appetizers we had the lamb meatballs and deviled eggs, both were outstanding. For dinner, the Braised Short Ribs were melt in your mouth amazing, the sea scallops were good, but not outstanding. For dessert, the Salted Caramel Pudding and Nutella Chocolate Mouse, were both delectable. We had the recommended wines with each dish, and they were on par, great choices! We will be back."

  • "We had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything we ate. Deviled eggs, pimento cheese apps were delicious! Our table had the short ribs, chicken (with jalapeno mac and cheese- YUM) and the scallops- all of the entrees were amazing. Dessert was our only low course as we ordered the cookies and cream cheesecake only to have them run out before we were served. Overall a wonderful experience."

  • "As soon as I walk in I'm hit with this extra loud techno music that does not let up. As the restaurant fills on a Saturday evening it only gets louder. Too bad the ambience was a bad experience, as rest of the evening was very nice. Nice bar area with unique offerings, and the food was very good. Chef' whim was a well prepared salmon as was the braised short ribs. Just turn down, or off, the music."

  • "My husband & I had a delightful restaurant week meal at Dish and look forward to returning soon. Everything was great and the wine parings were spot on! The only problem was that they switched the cheesecake from cookies and creme to key lime, which my husband didn't like. They immediately brought out their signature caramel pudding which is delicious. Great meal and great service....thanks Nicole!"

  • "We went early like 5:30. We were on that side of town and were looking for something nice but not crazy expensive. Dish was great! We ordered 3 different appetizers, calamari, lamb kabobs and the jalepeno mac and cheese. All were awesome, really great. I had wanted to try the manhattan chowder but there was a storm earlier so they didn't get it cooked in time. Service was perfect and we enjoyed a bottle of Proseco that was delish. THE most impressive thing Dish was on our way out the door our server ran out after us with a to go order of the chowder and bread, the chef wanted us to have it and apologized again. Well tried it the next day, it was delightful! Very flavorful lite & chocked full of clams. Dish is a must try you won't regret it."

  • "This is a great place to go with friends. The vibe is energetic and lively but not so loud that you can't carry on a conversation. The interior is clean and contemporary, high ceilings, large, open space. Most of the food was fabulous - the lamb meatball appetizer and scallop entree were perfect, with excellent accompanying sauces. But the jalapeno mac and cheese had chunks of chicken (?!) in it and very few bits of raw jalapeno, which made that dish a huge fail for all 3 of us. The Key Lime Cheesecake was served in a jar, and as such was not a slice. It was tasty, but some things should not be "foodiefied" in my opinion. Service by Marq was excellent. I'd definitely return, but be sure to ask questions about the food."

  • "We went for Restaurant Week and thought the three courses on the menu were excellent - we tried 2 different items for each course, and shared. Our server Brandon was attentive, helpful, and funny. His last move with the fried wonton was HILARIOUS! The only flaw was with the Central Market 4th course. The tuna was poorly trimmed, with stringy muscle tissue in nearly every piece, plus the accompanying chips seemed stale. It was our starter, and luckily everything else we ate was significantly better, but it was an unhappy start to the meal. I will definitely come back, though!"

  • "We went for a Restaurant Week dinner. We had a party of 4. The service was great and friendly, but never intrusive. Water glasses were always kept full, very important to me. The food was good, upscale casual. My favorite was the Salted Caramel Pudding! A delicious ending to a tasty meal. We avoided the absurdly over priced Wine Pairings. $20 per glass per corse is outrageous for wines that retail for under $10 per bottle, Also, since it is in Oak Lawn, on Cedar Springs, parking is scarce. Best to do valet."

Excellent Pear Tree martini and pimento cheese with olive tapenade Thought there would be more people there at 6:00. Seems to be more of a bar crowd than restaurant crowd during our visit. The lighting was a little too bright for me, however the atmosphere definitely fits one who is looking for a night out on the town. This is no place for those who want a quiet romantic dinner!!   • "The only negative was that we did have to wait almost 30 minutes beyond our reservation to be seated. Apparently the table ahead of us was taking their time closing out- but once we were seated everything was phenomenal. Our waiter, Randy, was fantastic- very attentive and gave us great food recommendations. Everyone loved their food and they even brought out a free dessert for my "baby to be"- I'm due in just a few days. The prices were very reasonable too. The ambiance is a bit trendy/clubby but it is in the heart of Oak Lawn so that's not terribly surprising. We will definitely go back."

  • "Went to Dish for DFW Restaurant week. Very hip, modern, beautiful atmosphere. The patio looked like it would be great, too hot the night we went. Our waitress, Bethy, was fantastic! Very personable, friendly, but not pushy. Gave us some interesting background information on the food. You MUST check out the restrooms. Very unique, almost unisex set-up! Great place for a foodie, even if the iced tea glasses are way too small for Texas!"

  • "Can't rave enough about how wonderful DISH is. Visited during restaurant week with a group of 7 that quickly grew to 10. DISH is well known for their amazingly fresh and sexy food which did not disappoint. The steak, chops, ribs, fish, and salads were fresh, crisp, and succulent. What may not be well known is the service. The staff at DISH are the best of the best. Very attentive, knowledgeable, with a twist of wit. For a Saturday night the atmosphere was electric. Lots of happy people, lots of great food, and then a nice evening with drinks out on the patio. Thanks to everyone at DISH that made this experience from food, to service, to ambiance very memorable. Highly recommend to anyone in DFW or travelling through the area."

  • "This is a fun place for groups and very energetic. Menu is wide ranging and offers lots of options for fish, beef, poultry, and salads. I brought a group of 3 with me and overall we had a good experience. Waiter was on top of his game and could explain all of the dishes and the flavors exactly as they came prepared to the table. But food was inconsistent. We started off with the deviled eggs which were the usual fantastic . One of my companions had the shrimp with bacon and it was very, very dried and overcooked, almost flavorless. I had the scallops which were amazing and cooked perfectly and the sauce was just the right delicate flavor. My other companion had the ribs which were good, but the flavor was only so-so."

  • "Super amazing food and service. The only reason I rated the service a 4 instead of a 5 was because it was rushed (it was restaurant week, so understandable). The lamb meatball appetizer was amazing as were the "chef's whim" entree (shrimp & grits) and the scallops. The salted caramel pudding was unbelievable. All in all, wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!!!"
