Diorio's Restaurant and BarA great old downtown restaurantI brought my father to his 70th reunion at the Taft School, and needed a good place to eat the night before. I wanted a place with great food and the ambiance of the 1940s, and we found both in spades at Diorio's. With the Scotch and wine, the meal wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. Colleen, our server, was a delight, and the atmosphere, from the old white tile floors to the brass at the bar, to the dark woodwork, was just right. Became our favorite restaurant for special occasions. Brought my son and his wife for their birthdays Saturday night. We all love it. My dinner and my daughter-inlaw's dinner (Chilean Seabass) was the best dinner we have ever had. Diorio's is never a disappointment. Great waitstaff. I recommend it to everyone I talk to.
