Brunch on Mother's Day was just as amazing as any other dinner I've had there. The staff was friendly, helpful, happy to make recommendations and genuinely made us feel valued. I was impressed with service which was very attentive without being in any way intrusive. Will definitely return, worth traveling from San Mateo for. The ONLY thing I had a hard time with was the $35 cork fee for brunch. I've understand the fee for dinner and have paid with no hesitation in my past visits. The food is delicious and the wine was very good (our waiter gave us excellent advice for our selection based on our preferences). The side dishes were very good, too, especially the french fries and creamed spinach.

I loved the Spanish style of the hotel upon arriving. I wished I would have taken advantage of the outdoor seating before dinner.The staff was very accommodating. The appetizers were so delicious. I really enjoyed the octopus. The Greek salad was fresh and very flavorful. I had fish for the entree. It was prepared perfectly. We sat near the bar so there was great energy around us. I can't wait to go back. My guests enjoyed their food and my company. This was our first visit as we live in Menlo Park and hadn't made the drive to Los Gatos.
All of the food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. There were definitely unique combinations and flavors. Desserts were nice as well. Portions weren't too big. I'd recommend ordering the baby back ribs to start. Portions on the smallish side, so not the best place for big eaters. But the technique and care that goes into the food preparation is evident and the quality and taste are exceptional. It's easy to get to, valet parking is complimentary, and the service was outstanding. We received our food in a timely manner and our waiter was very helpful in helping us choose our meal. My only complaint is that the females who work there wore some skimpy clothing... It was a distraction, to say the least, and they looked so uncomfortable in their high heels. Both the appetizers and the main courses had so much salt added that they were uncomfortable to consume.
