DinottoNeighborhood ItalianI just moved to Chicago and have been looking for my "go to" Italian restaurant. At home in NY we have "our" restaurant that we know everyone that works there and we feel and are treated like family. I feel like I found that place in Dinotto. I will definitely be coming back here. The food was excellent and the choices were great.
Unfortunately it was too cold (even though it's May) to sit on their patio, but it looked amazing and like a little oasis in the city. However, our server was quick to suggest other similar entrees and ultimately had the kitchen prepare something similiar for me that was not on the menu. The food was wonderful. We began with a variety of appetizers, they were great. We moved on to soups and salads, and they were great as well. The entrees were well prepared. We chose quite a variety of meat, pasta and seafood dishes, and we were all pleased. We also ordered a cake through the restaurant which was very nice, and the restaurant made sure they did a great job. The cake was beautiful and delicious.
