Dinosaur Bar-B-Que - Troyoutstanding restaurantI went to Dino bbq with my family after my graduation and we all loved it. Our waitress was extremely kind, friendly, and attentive despite how crowded the restaurant was. The food was superb and everyone was well fed. As a group of seven we ordered the family style dish and one more meal which was more than enough food for all. Aral of the main dishes and side dishes were amazing in quality. Troy Dino is larger and the parking situation is a little better. The view was much better in Troy - we had a table by the river. Best thing about Troy Dino was that you could make a reservation. The waitress was very good and attentive. She brought my steak and asked me to cut into it to see if it was done the way I wanted, it was overcooked, I said that's ok, and she said no it wasn't and took it back and got me a
new one cooked to order and the manager came over and told me the price of my dinner would be removed from the bill. I thought this was generous as they brought a whole new dinner after I had munched on the cole slaw and sweet potatoes. I was only expecting a new steak not the whole dinner. They make it right! The waitress was extremely accommodating to the kids' various needs. One child has severe food allergies, and she and the manager were very careful and patient to make sure that his order was safe. Great food - great experience.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe wife and I were lookingThe wife and I were looking for a good place to get dinner with our 2 1/2 year old and 10 month old, and we wanted better food than Friendly's and McDonalds, but wanted to go to a place where if our kids made a noise, we wouldn't immediately feel guilty. Dinosaur completely delivered. It was awesome, and well worth the drive for us. The parking lot was a little shaky, so we ended up parking on the street and walking a bit, but that's ok.
